Has anyone else seen these pistachio ads?

I was up a little later than usual last night, & saw this commercial. It infuriated me! I mean, really really made me angry:

Then, a few minutes later, I saw this ad for the same product, & I thought it was absolutely hilarious:

However, I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what either have to do with pistachio nuts.

And they seem to have a sexual innuendo to them (the dominatrix, not so hidden , but the X does "it" with protection, yea).

I've seen a couple of those (another is with an actor who used to play a mob guy in "The Sopranos" using some guys head to crack open the pistachio).

I saw the one with Levi, but that's the first time I've seen the dominatrix! LOL! They are really strange commercials!

These are pretty silly. I'd think the Levi was was funny if the joke wasn't at the expense of his son. I don't like the Palins, but he went too far there for me.

Actually, the 'protection' in the ad is his body guard (but doing 'it' with 'protection' definitely alludes to 'the deed'!)

I got that, but I think there was a bit more to it.

Amy, I didn't think it was at the expense of his son, I thought it was more a reference to teen pregnancy & Palin's opposition to BC. Either way, I'm pretty sure the baby wouldn't understand the commercial.

Laura, I agree that it is "a reference to teen pregnancy & Palin's opposition to BC", but there's also the implication that he should have used BC in the first place (well, duh!), which of course is another way of him saying it would have been better for him not to have had a son. Everyone agrees with him, but him saying it is kind of harsh, like "man I really screwed up there and now I have this dumb baby! I'll never do THAT again!" Knowwhati'msayin'?
