Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I can't wait until July 13. I'm going to go steal the film from the Warner Bro's studios - who's with me?

*puts on black clothes and black ski mask, and hums theme from Mission Impossible*

Emily! Use your wand! Just like in GoF when Harry is doing the dragon challenge!

Accio Order of the Phoenix Master!

DOH! I should've thought of that.

Although, I do enjoy humming the theme from Mission Impossible, and darting around behind walls and such, acting suspicious.... ;)

I can't wait for the movie and I think the new book comes out the following week! What a July!

I can't wait for the new book, but I'm also not looking forward to it because it's the last one and I don't want it all to be over. Plus I'm terrified about who she might kill off!

I do so want to find out what the deal is with Snape though. I refuse to believe Dumbledore was so wrong about him.

I am soooooo looking forward to July! Also, there is a book out called "Snape, Friend or Foe" that is something that could be on the methadone list, keep you going until July!

Well, like I said above, I can't believe that Dumbledore could have been so wrong about Snape. But there's going to have to be a pretty amazing explanation for why he did what he did.x(

And I don't know about who she's killing off, but she said that it will be fairly main characters. I don't think I can stand any of them dying! It better not be Harry, Hermione or Ron.... or Hagrid!

I can't wait for the new book and the movie! I am really nervous how she is going to end the series though. I still miss Sirius. :(

Shelly,
Thanks for posting! The kids and I can't WAIT till the movie and the last book come out!!!!

For all you Harry Potter fans who live near Urbana Illinois (are there any?), Roger Ebert's film festival is going on this week, and Alan Rickman.. (the actor who plays Snape) is going to be introducing one of the movies Thursday evening ("Perfume").

(Ebert will be there as well, but not talking or participating much --he had part of his jaw and vocal cords removed because of some kind of cancer).

More info: http://www.ebertfest.com/

Kathryn, SHUT UP!!! Alan Rickman is going to be in Urbana tomorrow???? *faint* So close, and yet so far away... I don't think there's any way I can get over to Urbana tomorrow night, even though I'm only 2 hours away. Where's the pouting emoticon? :p

I had a hard time believing that Sirius was really dead. I kept on thinking that he would somehow return. Dumbledore was hard to believe, too. I somehow don't think that Snape is evil.I would love to get a copy of the book right now!

yeah, . .i don't really think that snape is evil. i think that snape had so many opportunities to get rid of harry after dumbledoore died but didn't, . regardless of the fact that his reason was to save him for "he who must not be named." there is also a chapter in the most recent book where hagrid overhears snape and albus argueing about not wanting to do "something." i saw an interview where the author said that 2 characters die, . . and man one of them better not be harry. we all know voldomort dies, . . i mean the good guy always wins, . . right?

But the prophecy says that Harry and Voldemort are inextricably linked and one can't live without the other, so if one dies.....

oh, . . . crud. your right. that would sorta suck. i like harry. i would have a hard time getting over that. had a hard time getting over dumbledore. ;(

Yes--I was plunged into a bit of a funk for the remainder of the day, after I finished the book in which Dumbledore dies. That was tough.
