Hardest Kettlebell Workouts?

First, sorry if this has been discussed before. I recently discovered the joys of kettlebells, and already own Lauren's and Extreme Kettlebell with that sand dune guy.

Are there any others that you all can recommend? Thanks. What about that Kettlenetics I was looking at?

You might want to check out Art of Strength. They have a couple of good ones: Providence, Newport and Firepower. I have both Providence and Newport and they both are great workouts.

The website is www.artofstrength.com.

I love kettlebells and they are a joy! :)

I agree with Jane. I have The Kettlebell Way (remake of Providence with Anthony & Beth Chamberlain) & Newport. Newport is harder than Providence, IMO. They are both tough though.

I'm not sure about Kettlenetics; I believe they use much lighter kettlebells. Video Fitness had a long thread about Kettlenetics which may help you decide.

I have the Kettlebell Way and I love it so much that I ordered Anthony's Training Clinic DVD. I'll probably get Newport and Firepower, too.

What I want is to be locked in a gym with Sean and Anthony for an indefinite period of time. Yeah, that's what I want. I waaaaaaaant that.

Kettlebell workouts - compare to Cathe??

I am going to look into these workouts right after this post. In your opinion, are these workouts as good as Cathe's? I want something that will push me like she does. Also, how heavy are your kettlebells?

They're just different. I don't think you can really compare kettlebell workouts to Cathe's, because the work is so different. If you want to compare instructors, I think Anthony does a good job with delivery and overall instruction, but most kettlebell workouts aren't polished like Cathe's productions. Providence, for example, is filmed outdoors, and the sound is funky at times because there are birds in the background and wind noises. But the instruction is solid, and the work itself is good, strong kettlebell work. One of the biggest complaints I see about The Kettlebell Goddess DVD is the instructors are so serious. And it's true - they are. But their form is impeccable and if you want solid kettlebell in a follow along workout, that's a perfect workout, IMHO. If you want coordinated outfits, glitzy music, and spiffy sets, no kettlebell workout I know of if will deliver all that. But they will deliver a solid, strong workout. HTH!

I agree with Carol that kettlebell workouts are very different from Cathe's. The Goddess Workout, is very serious but displays impeccable form has no music and a very basic set. The Extreme Cardio Kettlebell Workout by Keith Weber is filmed on a beach and I believe with no music either. I can't remember because I'm usually just trying to keep up with Keith.

My kettlebells range in weight from 10lbs to 35lbs. Most ladies start out with 15# or 20# kettlebells.
