Hardcore Rotation Checkin Wednesday October 5

Morning Everyone -

This morning I did Chest & Triceps and Core Max premix Tough Core. I never did the entire Chest & Tri's DVD. My muscles are heavy. I had time to do some aerobics, but I forced myself not to. I'm thinking this way (I may be wrong) -- Perhaps my body is getting used to daily aerobics, so if I don't do them every once in a while, hopefully my body will be shocked a bit.

I've looked over my rotation for the month and threw in the Jillian Michaels workouts a couple times this week and the last week and I figured in my new BB Power 90 Masters Plyo Legs & Core Cardio for a couple workouts (although I don't have them yet). I'm hoping these small changes will make my body start responding better to my workouts - as well as lifting as heavy as I can with the weight workouts this month. That's my strategy. If this doesn't work, I'll have to resort to plan B (although I have no idea what plan B is).

Susan - Did you get my email address the other day to send me that diet you were planning for me? I'm not trying to rush you. Please take your time. Also, thanks for the link the other day on the Elite Force workouts. They look interesting, but I'm sort of broke right now and still saving for upcoming Power 90 Masters, TurboJam, YogaBooty Ballet and of course my Lush Christmas Limiteds. Lots of good stuff coming out in the future.

Lora-My tooth is gone and my mouth is much better,thanks:) I have to go do a deposition for the accident I had (was hit by a drunk driver) this morning. I wll be back later ans get my workouts in. I will be curious to see how planA works for you:)

HI Ladies!!

Lora-how are you liking Jillians workouts? I wish I had mine. ;( The order is stated to ship them when they are available but we are still talking month end, beginning of next month before one of them even ships. I am so bummed about it. Poor poor planning on their part. If I could find them in a store I would cancel my order.

Terri-I am glad your mouth feels better now.

I would like to go for my walk this evening but we might have rain so I will have to wait and see. I like to go after supper since my DH is home and I can go without the boys. I take my Ipod Nano and move along. I downloaded "Pretty Vegas" (J.D. Fortunes song from Rock star INXS) yesterday so I could listen to it tonight. I wish "Trees" would come out since I loved Marty.

Hello!!

This morning I did Legs & Glutes. I was going to do PS Back and Biceps but I think I wanted something a little more intense today...maybe tomorrow.

I'll probably do the elliptical machine at lunch today.

Lora - I hope plan A works...sounds like it should.

Terri - Glad your mouth feels better. I wish you could be in my classes too...I love hard workers!! Tell us about the accident...

Sabrina - hope you get your walk in this evening.

Oh Sabrina, I worded that wrong! My accident was two years ago. The deposition in this morning. I was in treatments for a year and just now we are working on settlement.

I meant to tell you but I forgot. I cancelled my total Amazon order and ordered the remainder of my DVDs thru CD Universe. They had 5 of the Kickbox DVDs left in stock so I'll get that in a couple of days, but I still won't get the Maximize Complete Set until the end of October or Novemeber. Can't remember exactly...paper's at home. Someone on Videofitness.com tipped me off yesterday. I tell ya....those girls know everything over there. If you order them from CD Universe, it only costs an extra $2 for the "ship as products become available" option which you'll need to check in order to have the Cardio Kick Box one sooner. There prices are about the same as Amazon also. Actually, my order costed less thru them because I didn't have to pay too much more for the shipping option.

Terri - We just posted at the same time. Seems like you and I have a couple things in common this week (first the tooth). I also was in an auto accident a few years ago and just settled recently. I remember that deposition. I was so detailed about everything that the Court Reporter almost ran out of paper. We went after work and ended up being there until 8:00 pm!!

Lora, I did get your message with you email. I replied to another one of your posts, to which you said some things that are making if difficult for me to work out. I have TONS of information on my home computer that I could send you. Online personal trainers, workout schedules, eating plans....TONS. What I know does work, however, if its not followed correctly it will mess up the chemistry (ex/the caramels a day). Not cooking and no meat. I'll see what I can do. Sabrina, Did you clock how far you went yesterday? How is your son feeling today? Sorry you missed the concert. Did you DH go still?

Diane Sue, I found a diamond that was just a chip from a sapphire ring. I was shocked! Don't loose hope. It may just turn up. Insurance might cover it, if it needs to be replaced. Good Luck.

Susan - I'd appreciate anything info you'd like to give me. Whatever is not too much trouble to send. However, I absolutely will not eat meat. I haven't done so in well over 15-20 years. I hate it. I don't think I could force myself to do that. If the literature all has something to do with meat, I guess I won't follow it. I do appreciate the gesture and would be glad to hear anything you have to offer. Also, the stove thing.......probably not likely that I'm going to start cooking anytime soon...I don't think we'll have a stove until we're retired. I know I'm weird...what can I say?
 
Susan-I never did clock my walk. Since my oldest was home not feeling well I never left the house to check. He went to school today and seemed just fine when he left. Thanks for asking. I am sorry I missed the concert too. Yes my DH still went. I made (yes made because he wasn't going to go either) him call a friend to see if he wanted to go. He said the Foo Fighters were awesome and would pay to see them again. I am glad he had a good time. He made it home at 2:00 am though and had to get back up at 6:00 for work.
 
Hey everyone,
Today I did S&H legs and shoulders. Did all sets for legs and then cut shoulders down to 2 sets. Getting up this am. was not so bad;-) I think this is turning into a routine :)

My Ds8 had a wicked fall last night (playing basketball) and we are going to the Dr. here in the next half hour. He is scraped up pretty bad, and he is favoring his elbow??? I am praying it is not broken!! I am thinking it is just bleeding in his joint, but I feel better about getting him checked out!!

Today I did LM step only. MM triceps and CM #1 and LM cool down. That took a little over an hour and a half.

Terri ~ How did the deposition go?

Marietta ~ Did you keep track of any add-ons you did for the HC-Faux CTX rotation? Could you e-mail me any modifications that you made? I did the cardio this morning which was 44 minutes (w/u and c/d) and just didn't seem enough. I may add on a run later.

Diane Sue ~ Did you find your diamond?

Susan ~ I would interested in some of your articles. I've been reading a lot of fitness magazines too. The more info the better!:)

Thanks everyone for the compassion concerning my Uncle. I'm still waiting to hear about his test. I assume that he'll need to go in to see the doctor for the news, so he won't be hearing anything via the phone. I think my Mother's going to go with him, since his wife does not deal with real situations very well (long story - she's never worked a day in her life and I think she's going to be devestated when she loses him -- I'm sure she's in a total "block out" mode).

Todays workout was KM w/u & cardio, then KPC Premix cardio conditioning minus the w/u & st. PS B&B St. I still have to do the ab work. That will be PS BBA abs and PS PSLA abs, with tough core.

Dallas & Susan, I am still looking for the diamond. I haven't given up hope yet. The thing is I was home all evening Fri, all day Sat. & Sun. morning at church is when I found it was gone.

I always added extra cardio. I usually did this during my lunch by running 3-4 miles or so. Or whenever it said so blast 1-5, I would just do all the blast or all the workout. I don't like cutting my cardio short.

Let me know if you're looking for more specifics and I'll look at my workout logs.
