Hardcore Rotation Checkin Wednesday June 8

Hi Everyone,

This morning was Gym Style Shoulders and I did the Hi-Lo portion from Step Jump and Pump x 2 for my aerobics taking the higher impact to the rebounder. I did not get my heartrate up very high because of my foot. For some reason, my foot is worse today. I'm going to try and get ready for work early and soak the foot in epsom salts for 20 minutes before I leave. It might just be extra painful from running around at work all week. I guess if it's no better next week, I'll have to have an x-ray.

lorajc-I hope your foot gets to feeling better soon. An x-ray sounds like a good idea.

Last night I did Slow Heavy Legs, Segment one coremax, & segment one stretchmax. This evening I plan on doing Slow heavy shoulders and a 30 minute run. If I don't feel too tired. My youngest son (3) has been up since 3:30 this morning. If I can get him to take a nap later I might workout then.

Lora...I hope your foot feels better. An X-ray sounds like an excellent idea...this pain of yours obviously wants to stick around. Take it easy on yourself.

Sabrina...hope you can get that run in, but if not...that's okay.

As for me, this morning I ran intervals on my treadmill. I ran a total of 5.5 miles. For some reason I dreaded doing this, but once I got going it felt good. During my lunch break, I plan to work my shoulders. By the way, I'm doing the June rotation (week one), I don't have the Max Intensity Cardio so that's why I did intervals. I ran out of time this morning so I'll do my shoulder work later.

Lora should you be working out on that foot? Go to the Dr. and get some x-rays! Take care!

Sabrina I hope you get a second wind! For some reason I find S&H a relaxing workout.

Marietta hope you enjoy your one body part rotation. I am really enjoying doing it!! Last month I did GS this way and now I am doing PS series.
 
Hi everyone!

Today was my leg day. I did PS L&A followed with LL, both in their entirety.
I did use a lighter bb (30 pounds) for LL for fear I wouldn't make it all the way through.

Nicole, thanks for not making feel bad about taking a week off. I think it's good once in a while. Boy did I enjoy myself! For the first time since I can't even remember, I had my very own ice cream cone. I choose Mint chocolate chip with Swiss chocolate chunks. Yummy!

Marietta, I think I'll do the June rotation as well. It looks like a goodie.

Lora, could you take Guggul to assist in lowering your cholesterol? It's an herb I'm extremely familiar with and knows it does work.

Sabrina, like Nicole said, if you don't get your run it that's ok. I know it can be difficult to get an entire w/o in when you've been up early with a child.

today's workout: slow/heavy shoulders w/ a 30min interval run! I ran as fast as 7mph! whew!!!

sabrina: you mentioned that you enjoy sh series as it's relaxing to you. I find it very difficult to get into. It just takes too long! but, that's just me!

almonds foot x-ray MIC

Hi ladies - I just went and had my foot x-rayed. I'm awaiting the results.

I eat almonds daily and oatmeal......thanks for the article. I've never heard of the herb you mention. Is it expensive? I wonder if it would work for people with extremely high cholesterol? My doctor has me taking Fish Oil Omega 3 Fatty Acids to help lower it, but it hasn't helped either.

SCM -- SCM - that's quite a leg workout you did. What are you trying to do??

My MIC DVD has been on backorder since March......that's why I did the Hi/Lo from Step, Jump & Pump today (or at least tried).

It's good seeing new people check in. Our group has grown....YAY!!

Tuesdays workout was KPC/SJP cardio premix, May rotation Chest, Stretch Max w/ ball
Todays workout was Step Works w/u & cardio, PSBBA abs, MM abs, & HSch abs, Abs with resistance on the Bowflex, then Leg workout from the May rotation, Pyramid floor work & Stretch

Susan it is nice to give your body a break once in awhile. If I have had very few rest days I will do nothing when we go on vacation or I have company for a few days. I think it just makes me anxious to jump back into the workouts. I t sure looks like you did:)

Lora I hope they see whats wrong in your xray and can help you.
