Morning Ladies -
I woke up starving this morning......so I ate an apple when I first got up. This morning was GS Chest & Triceps and since I don't run, I did aerobic segments from The Gauntlet for 30 minutes (with some higher intensity modified on the rebounder) and then I did StretchMax on the ball. I had a protein drink after my workout.
I'm trying to be ready for work a little early so I can use my percussion massager on my traps (so I can make it thru the work day). I'm feeling a bit depressed today because I don't think I'll ever get as "buff" and "cut" as I want to be because of my injury. I guess I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself when I really shouldn't be. I should look at the positives of the situation. At least I can work out modified and I don't have cancer..........but knowing I'll never look as good as I want to look when I work so hard at it and have all of the determination sort of bums me out. I guess I should focus on staying healthy and working out for my sanity and health and not just a muscular, lean physique.

Have great workouts everyone.

WD: Is the exercise that you're suggesting doing for rear delts the one in MuscleMax that the modifiers do when Cathe and crew do the one arm pushups. Cedie props herself up on her elbow (on her side) and does side lying rotator cuff extensions.???

Hello,
I wasn’t feeling so great this morning, since I went out last night and had a little too much *fun*.

Today was leg day. I tried to do L&G, but felt crummy. So, I did four sets of hamstring curls (raised my weight 5 pounds!), and four sets of leg presses.

Breakfast was six egg whites with half yolk a Matzo and some o.j.

Believe it or not (I mostly choose not), but diet plays a more important roll than exercises when trying to become "buff".

Today is my last day of having a water cooler at work. I'm told it costs too much. I have to bring my own in. What really stinks is I like to have instant oatmeal around 10am and having the hot water is very convenient.

Catch you later,
Susan C.M.
:D

Susan -

All of us girls in the offices in our area pitch in and pay for the water cooler ourselves. It only averages about $1.50 per month. It's worth it though! Just a thought.

Also - I know diet is important with looking lean, but I want to be muscular also. Thanks for the reminder about diet though.

Hello everyone! I have been absent for several weeks due to travel and illness, but I am back and ready to get working again. I got up early this a.m. and did GS Legs.

Last night I found a picture of myself from 2 summers ago and it made me feel so bad -my arms were looking so good- and they don't look anything like that now! I need to get serious because summer is just around the corner.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Ladies, Feeling great after doing Low Max yesturday two times !!! Anyhow today I do Core Max and Stretch Max .I will do it during nap time today ..Have great days !!!!

I seem to be in an aimless rotation myself this week, it doesn't seem as if there are alot of people following the April rotation, does it?

Anyways, still trying to stay with the FLR, did Andre hi/lo today, Coremax 3, and the standing stretch in Stretchmax 1, just didn't have the time to do the entire stretch today. Tomorrow I hope to do HSC. Hope springs eternal!

Hi everyone!

I did the KM premix where the blast challenge comes first, followed by kick/punch drills 2,3,and 4. I followed this with the Low Max Blast. I really enjoyed this workout.

Scale still stuckx(

Hello everyone,
This mornings workout was KPC through cardio,KM low impact #1-4,
Gym Style BSB, I wanted to train abs but guess maybe I will get them in tomorrow & Saturday. I agree that diet is the most important thing if you want to see the muscle definition that you are building. I really have to work on that one. A salty meal or going out to eat a lot where you have no control over what is added to your food can really alter one's appearance.

Conni, when our company comes next week I may be in an aimless rotation as well. I do think I should be able to get the three GS in Mon-Wed. though.

Lora, That exercise is on HSC. This one is the side lying external rotation I was talking about. The side lying reverse fly is similar except the arm is held straight out from the body with the weight in line with your shoulder. Also when doing the side lying external rotation if you fold a towel and have it under the elbow of the arm that is holding the weight it should help with the proper alignment
of the arm to the shoulder. In a book I have with these in it the person is lying down with her head on her underneath arm. Have you tried posting in ask Cathe? You might get some help there. I am not a professional either. Cathe answered someone on the upright rows and safety. Have you read this?

Have a great day:) :)

Hello!

I'm still following Week #2 HC Strength Rotation. GS Legs floorwork & Coremax Segment #2 were on the agenda today. Indeed, I did feel the second set of plie squats in my hiney (thank you very much, Cathe!) and I'm lovin' the challenge of core work on the stability ball.

Have a great night everyone!

Hello Everyone,
Tonight I am not sure what I will do??? I am thinking GS legs (standng) and than maybe one section of coremax. Last night I only did like 45 minutes of lowmax my legs were feeling tight so I went ahead and pulled out JV easy does it stretch. That helped. I really need to do more stretching. It feels so good!!

Take care,
~Nicole
