Hardcore Rotation Checkin Tuesday July 12

Hi Everyone -

Okay, let me do this check in before I start getting side tracked like yesterday. This morning, the rotation called for Imax I and mine is still on backorder, so I did Imax 2. I'm really getting a lot of the steps down pat in Cathe's DVD's these days. It only took me 4 months! LOL, although Imax 3 is still a bit tricky!

As far as hubby's working out with us.....mine workouts in the basement and never wants me around, as we get in each other's way. I workout upstairs and he works out downstairs. As far as doing Cathe DVD's, I could just see him trying to do her step...he he....but he has used Coremax before and he likes that one.

As far as the new workouts, I'll probably get them and use the harder premixes. When you ladies mentioned yesterday, I got all excited, as I thought we had a new Advanced Series!! Oh well, these are better than nothing!

Have great workouts.

Hello!

Well...I don't know what the heck kind of rotation, I'm doing. I'm just winging it big time.

I ran a couple of miles this morning and then I did GS-Biceps. I may try to get in back workout during lunch today. I also have a step class to teach this evening.

Lora...what rotation did you decide on? I knew you were looking at a few, but I may have missed what you decided on. I'm on the waiting list for IMAX 1 as well. I'll be glad when they get it in. I know the minute I cancel the order, they will get it in...so I'm going to try to stick it out.

Sabrina...you were asking for some input on your workouts yesterday. I was wondering if you ever split out your body parts or if you just primarily do circuits? What you are doing looks good...I was just curious. I hope you have an awesome time on the Road Trip.

Nicole...those one-legged deadlifts are a trip! I do them, but haven't ever felt comfortable. I keep thinking it will get better...I'm still waiting on that to happen.

Dallas...IMAX 3 is pretty tough. Just keep pressing forward and you'll be doing it all in no time.

I don't think I'm going to get the new DVDs...but I will recommend them to a lot of my clients. They sound awesome, but I just don't think they are for me. I'll be waiting for the next advance series!!

Morning ladies,

We are getting some much needed rain today!! Thank goodness, I have brown grass! LOL!

Lora-I hope you get Imax soon.

Marietta-I split my workouts but this week I thought I would do something different. I will be in NJ for the road trip Thursday through Monday and didn't want to start a rotation. I thought Cathe would be doing a great job of exhausting my whole body and am trying to rest it up a little. ;-) I hope I have an awesome time too, thank you.

Well I think I will stick with KPC for this evening. Yesterday I ended up doing High step challenge. I need to also get in some grecery shoppingmax. Should be fun in the rain and with three kids. x(

Have a great day ladies!!

Hello there,

I'm really not following a rotation either. My plan is to start the week with a total body w/o, next day cardio, followed by GS weights.

I'm leaving very early Friday morning to Las Vegas, for work.

Today I did MIC and a three mile jog. I felt pretty good this morning, however, now the DOMS is setting in from the walking lunges yesterday.

Lora, I'm still trying to get the steps down for LowMax. I've yet to do that w/o in it's entirety. You'll really like IMAX. The step routine is pretty easy and the blasts are basically a type of jump that you repeat over and over and over.

Sabrina, I cannot wait to hear the details about the road trip! A big part of me is regretting I cancelled going. I also meant to tell you, I'm glad to hear you don't need surgery for your headaches.

Marietta, are you a personal trainer?

Nicole, I think I will purchase the new DVD's. The one's Cathe is putting together for "us", with the more challenging Premixes. I'd like the one with doing weights on a stability ball. You're right about Cathe looking good! She has a birthday coming up real soon. She's going to be 41!

Diane Sue, how is your husband doing? Do you know when he's going home, yet?

Have a good day, everyone!

Marietta -

I decided to go with the FatLoss rotation with focus on legs and glutes for one week, The Hardcore FL rotation for next week and for my third week, the Fatloss and Definition rotation. I couldn't make up my mind, so I opted for 1 week from each of them.

Me Again...

Oh...that's right Lora, I remember you saying something about that now. That sounds pretty interesting actually.

Susan...I am a personal trainer and fitness instructor (both part-time). I don't have a bunch of time, so I squeeze it in when I can. On the weekends, I usually have a couple group training sessions. I wish, I could do it full-time, but it's just not in the cards right now.

Hello Everyone:D
Today I am going to do KPC. I am really going to enjoy this }( I'm a totally pmsing and I need some relief ha ha.

Susan those walking lunges can be quite deceptive ha ha

Lora I see yesterday we did the same workout!!

I'm still thinking about buying the new series. I like the fact that she is making the premixes harder, but seeing that little step they use just crack's me up:D I did not buy her other beg/int. series. I wonder when the presale will start??

Marietta it is so nice to have a PT in our check-in:D

Sabrina can't wait to hear from you when you get back:D Have a GREAT time:D

Dallas can you imagine what our butts are going to look like if we keep doing these walking lunges weekly:7

Diane Sue how are you doing with your cardio coach? Do you like doing this better vs. dvds? Hope your dh is doing well!!

Hi everyone,
I didn't think I had missed that much but guess I was a little out of the loop as I don't know anything about new workouts.
Monday was Cardio coach 2 Rowing with the Bowflex, Chest Shoulders & Triceps Free wieghts and Bowflex, Stretch
Today was Cardio Coach 3 Rowing with the Bowflex and for the challenges I did 6 sets of jump ropes and then plyo jumps and power 15's on the step for the rest. I have this one downloaded to a cd so I dont have to worry about earphones etc.

Nicole & Susan, Thanks for asking. My DH is doing well. I talk to him through the internet almost every night.

Nicole I am enjoying Cardio Coach. Even without a lot of cardio equipment I can play it and really get my heartrate up. They also supply an instruental on at least Volume 3 when you buy it so you canuse just musicIt keeps me working at my all out pace through the challenges.

Hi All,

Today I did KPC. I wanted to add on the leg drills from KM, but ran out of time. My whole house was up by 6A! My children are always so hungry in the morning. Geez, you would have thought I didn't feed them dinner! I'm PMSing too Nicole, so that WAS a great work out! }( I was wondering when we will start seeing results with those lunges? I know, I know it's only been 1 week of those. Are you doing other leg work outs with it? Tomorrow the rotation calls for GSL standing only, so I'll add on those 200 walking lunges as well.

Marietta ~ thanks for the vote of confidence on Imax 3. I'll be doing that little dance Cathe does in Imax 2 after interval 9 when I complete I3 in it's entirety! ;) Come to think of it I'll probably be to tired to do that dance!

Sabrina ~ where are you in IL? I'm just south-west of Chicago in Orland Park. I know what you mean about brown grass. We also lost two evergreens. My kids were actually sitting by the window watching the rain. Hope it rains again tomorrow.

Lora & Marietta ~ have you looked at the other web sites that sell Imax 1? I know when KPC was on b/o for so long, I purchased from Collage. I know not all the DVDs are available on the other sites. Amazon has started selling more DVDs. Just a thought.

Have a good night!

Dallas

Dallas,

I am in Canton, IL. It is west of Peoria.

I did KPC today too. I love that workout even though I sometimes lose track of what I am to be doing. LOL!
