Hardcore Rotation Checkin Tuesday August 2

Morning Everyone,

This morning, I did Imax 3 (about 7 sections - My Imax 1 is still on backorder), and then I did the 200 walking lunges and then the stretch. I did not use weight on the lunges. I didn't know if we were supposed to , but I wanted to see how my legs handled it at first anyway.

Boot Camp Twice!!

Hi Ladies,

I decided to start with week 2 of the Aug rotation. It called for a 5 mile run and I did a 5.5 mile run on Sunday so I went to the next day and it was to do Boot Camp twice.. so that is what I did. It was not that bad. I did the warm and cool down only once. After I finsihed cycle 8 I went right back to cycle 1.

Today calls for KPC and PLB floor work. I will do a 6-7 mile run and then the PLB floor work. I may fit in KPC later in the week if I have time.

Lorajc, I don't think we are supposed to use weights with the walking lunges.

Good Morning,

I completed IMAX1 and the 200 walking lunges. It took me almost 70 minutes. I never use weights doing walking lunges, does anyone else?

Usually I don't have breakfast before I exercise, since it's so early, but today I had some cereal first.

It seems that IMAX/RS DVD has been on backorder a long time, Lora. Has SNM given you any indication when it will be available?

I'll check back later to see how everyone else is doing.

Hey Guys!!

This morning I started day 1 of the August rotation. I did BodyMax in it's entirety this morning. I was able to insert the 200 jumping jacks after the cardio, but I didn't have time to add the 40 pushups on the end. I have class tonight, so I may try to do them then.

Lora...I don't have IMAX 1 either and I too have ordered it and am waiting. The last I heard, there was a problem and they had to be re-done. Who knows when we will get it. I'm determined not to cancel my order because the minute I do that they will come in. Oh...I would not use weights with the walking lunges. So tomorrow, I'll do IMAX 3 as well.

Beverly...I didn't think doing the Bootcamp twice would be all that bad either and like you I would do the warm up and cool down only once. The high intensity only last a minute so it won't kill you...

Susan...With youbeing pregnant, you definitely should eat before working out. I felt like I should have eaten before BodyMax this morning...that workout is about 90 minutes. I had to wake up earlier to make sure I'd finish.

Hi Ladies,

Day 2 for me on the aug 05 rotation. I am looking forward to how I do with the 200 lunges. Yesterday the workout wasn't overly tough for me. Tough but doable! I will check in later here when my workout is done. I may do an hour of hiit on the treadmill since I don't have Imax 1. Good luck to all!

Hi everyone,
Yesterday I did Step Blast w/u & cardio, SJP hilo premix, GS Chest & Triceps Superset premix, Pyramid abs, CM Complete Core
Today was w/u & cardio from HSCh, HSTA cardio and lower, then CTX Power Circuit cardio & lower, 100 walking lunges w/ 15 lb dumbells, GS calves & floorwork, 100 more walking lunges w/dumbells, and stretch Keeping a decent diet is hard though having family around all of the time lately. I try though. My daughter has been going to one of those prepare your meals ahead places so has been bringing over casseroles when we are working on the fence and yard. There are some pretty good tasting dishes there. Some I suspect of having a lot of sodium and fat though.

Susan yes I use weights with the walking lunges. I addressed this issue on ask Cathe before. I was trying to gain in the legs some so was told I could do them with weights.

Dallas I will see my DH the 14th of this month for three weeks then he is gone again.

Hi Everybody! Ten Hut!:7

I did an interval run on the treadmill. I followed along with Imax 3. So, when the blasts came I cranked up the speed on the treadmill and then back done to running for the step portions. I've done this before, but not the entire video though. Whew! Good idea Marietta!

I did the warm down on the video, and then the 200 walking lunges. This time with no weights. I have done them before with 3 and 5# weights, Lora.

Diane Sue ~ are you counting down the days? How exciting? I'm sure we won't be hearing from you then! :7 What a great work out yesterday for you.

Marietta ~ I've decided to add the BM, jumping jacks, etc. at the end of the rotation.

Beverly ~ Way to go, diving right into BCx2! OK, you've done it and Pinky, so it can be done. If I don't check in next Tuesday, you may need to call 911 for me! ;-)

Nicole ~ I got that book today. I can't wait to read a little bit tonight. My DS (2) and I ran errands this AM and went to lunch at Einstein bagels. That was so much fun and he really enjoys the one on one. While purchasing the book, however he was running all over the store! Thank goodness the guy in front of me saved my spot. Oh yeah, those walking lunges weren't so bad. I think doing them during the month of July really helped!

Susan ~ Wow! You're doing the rotation, too! You WILL have the best butt in the delivery room!:7

Terri ~ How did your work out go?

Sabrina ~ My DD and I were looking at the road trip pictures (I was looking for those blue pants you told me about....cute!) last night. We saw your levitation hold. Guess what, she's said, "I can do that." and she did! So, what's your secret. My DD was so cute when she was trying to explain it to me. I can get off the floor, but I can't hold it long!x( You go girl!

Hope I didn't miss anyone! Tomorrow's work out almost seems like a walk in the park.

Dallas...I'm glad you liked the idea about the treadmill and IMAX3. I saw that on another post and thought that was the coolest thing... I'm going to do IMAX 3 tomorrow since I don't have IMAX1 and because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IMAX3...I hope I wake up early enough so that I can go outside and do the walking lunges. The workout you do tomorrow I'll be doing on Thursday...I may run or something.

Nicole...I need to get that book...it's on my to-do list.

Hi ladies,

It has been one of those days! I wish I could have went back to bed and put the covers over my head. No workout as of yet. My DH is running late. The boys are getting on my nerves today. They cannot get along. I went to catch a few rays this afternoon while the boys were playing gamecube, but the neighbors kid was outside screaming all afternoon. Ugh! My laptop is acting up. I could go on!

What book are you ladies talking about? I must have missed the title. I know you have been talking about a book but not what one.

Dallas-Cathe told me it is not in your arms. Place your hands a little forward and lean a little forward. Tighten those abs and lift. Pull you knees in. Is that any help? Cathe explained it so well. Maybe I will show it to you in October. Are you going to Chicago? I am. I am staying the night too.

Diane Sue-I am so happy you will get to see your DH for 3 weeks!

I did IMAX and the 200 lunges. It took an extra 6 minutes to do all the lunges. Not bad, so far. Sounds like everyone is doing great!
 
Ok I am back and I have done it! I did what Dallas did used the treadmill for imax and then I did the walking lunges. Those weren't so much hard as hard on my knees. I know my legs will feel it tomorrow though :) So far this rotation isn't as bad I had thought it would be. I may eat my words later.

Marietta-I did abs today too so do I have to do 100 pushups? I checked in late is all :)

Diane Sue-that is great that you will be able to see your husband soon.
