Hardcore Rotation Checkin Thursday July 7

Morning Everyone,
This morning, I did about 50-55 minutes of Low Max and abs from Kick, Punch & Crunch.

I've decided to finish off this week with whatever I feel like and then since I can't decide on a rotation and I only have 3 weeks to do one, I'm going to do 1 week of the Fatloss and Legs & Glutes rotation, 1 week of the Hardcore Fatloss and 1 week of the older rotation for Definition and Fatloss.

Have great workouts everyone.

Hi Ladies,

I did a 7.5 mile run yesterday. Today I plan on getting some weights in. Not sure which workout though..

Lorajc, your rotation plan sounds good, with lots of variety too...

Have a great day ladies.

Beverly

Hi guys!

It's a beautiful day here! Too bad I'm stuck at work x( .

So...this morning I did CTX Kickbox only. I may go for run at lunch today and I do have an interval/step class to teach this evening.

Lora...your rotation sounds good and fun.

Beverly...how many miles do you run/week on average?

Dallas...if you're at 6 miles, it's easier to run a half-marathon than you think if you begin you training early enough. Just pick a date for a half-marathon and begin a 12-week training program and go from there. If you have questions, Beverly and I would be glad to help...(right Bev?).

Roxy...welcome! You go girl...you sound a little overwhelmed. We'll help you out if we can. Hang in there!!

Hey Nicole...that was funny about your DD and your walking lunges. My DD would do the exact same thing!! I don't use weights when I do the 200 walking lunges either.

Diane...I'm interested in your thoughts on current rotation as well.

Susan...Hi lady!! I was reading something you posted on the forum yesterday...can't remember what it was, but I know you were funny...was it the one about irritating things? Whatever it was it brought a smile to my face.

Have a great day everyone...

Hi Marietta,

I have been running an average of about 45 miles a week. It is higher in the warmer months and closer to 30 miles a week in the cooler months. I am a strange one and love to run in the warmth/heat!

Yes, I would also be glad to help anyone with running/training questions. I have a little experience. I have done 4 half marathons and a few shorter races.

Have a great day!

Beverly

That's awesome Beverly...I have hated running in the heat in the past, but I'm forcing myself to do it more now. I'm finding that once you get used to it, it's not too bad. That's why I like to run during my lunch hour with a group of guys...they push me and I like it.

I've cut back on my running some since I did a half-marathon last month. But right now, I'm probably getting in around 20 +\- a few. I'll beef it back up soon...

Hello,

Today I choose Kick Max for cardio. I used my 5 pound ankle weights for the leg drills. It made a difference.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to hearing from Nicole today...hahaha, since she said the walking lunges weren't so bad. When I did them, I could barely move the next day. My son didn't count for me, he just laughed saying I looked like a duck.

Lora, I too think your rotation looks fine. When I do my own thing, I just make sure I alternate body parts and cardio...plus throw in some abs here and there.

Dallas, I saw a post that had a link to a website on how to train for any size race. It was spelled out what type of running and distance to do each day.

Marietta, I was talking about the slobs I work with; each and every one of them. They leave mugs and bowls on the counter, plus cook their lunches until it bursts in the microwave. Discusting.

Hi to everyone else!

Susan C.M.

Hi everyone,
Today I did Cardio Coach #3 using the Bowflex rowing and jump rope and running in place with high knees to really kick up the HR on the challenges, I felt like I really got an intense workout in a short amount of time, I followed this with Back using mainly the Bowflex and Biceps using free weights, then Stretch Max#1. There is one more week of the Cardio Coach challenge. I think my back is getting a lot of work with all of the rowing. I had to lower the weights for the dumbbell bent over rows. I have not gained any weight even after several days of bad eating camping out and then my daughter bringing in sort of healthy burritos (white Tortillas, full fat cheese, but black beans, corn & chicken) along with tortilla chips from a resaurant & queso. I think all of the intense workouts have paid off. I figured there would at least be water weight from all of the sodium.

Marrietta, I think if you are asking what I think of the July rotation, I printed it and added it to my notebook. I think week one and two are very light. Week 3 & 4 look pretty good though. I would change Body Fusion on week 4 to Bootcamp though. I often take one or two of the weeks that Cathe posts & use them for the whole month.

Have a great day,
Diane Sue

Hello Everyone,
I am posting late tonight, but I quick wanted to check in with you all :D Been working on my oldest dd room all day!! Decided to surprise her, and painted her room one of those *FUN* colors (light neon green). (she's been wanting this color) It turned out really good!! I can't wait to see her reaction!! I LOVE surpise's. I told dd5yrs not to tell her sister about the surprise when we picked her up at the airport....... she stated "but mom I have such a hard time keeping secrets" ha ha. Her brothers told her she had to. So I am keeping my fingers crossed. LOL.

Susan you will be happy to hear........ My butt ached ALL DARN day!!! Had to do hover squats and sat gently on the toilet:+

Dallas I am wondering how is your butt today??? Who would have thought walking lunges could do that??

I did take time to do my workout today while my primer was drying. I did Imax 2 and 15min of CTX abs.

Take care,
~Nicole

HI Everyone,

Little last checking in. Last night I went for it and did Hardcore Extreme the first segment. Hahaha! It had too look pretty comical when Cathe and crew were doing the intervals from IMAX and me just standing there watching most the time. Maybe I will have to find some time this weekend and try to figure some of the step moves out. My lovely DH said he would help me. I also went for a bike ride but halfway through we took the kids and went to get ice cream. Cookie dough shake. Yummy!!

I will post in todays thread for my workout for today later. RIght now I have to get ready for my Doctors appointment.

Have a great day!!!
