Hardcore Rotation Checkin Thursday 7-14

Mornin' Ladies -
This morning I did CTX Kickbox followed by part of the Kickmax Challenge and then I did PUB abs and Kickmax cooldown. I did some of the jumping on the rebounder, as my foot is still healing and flares up when I do a lot of activiy on it still. I really liked PUB abs....it was different and felt effective.

Well, I decided I'm going to work the rest of the week. My Mom (although I love her dearly) guilt tripped me into not staying home....thus I'll have to deal with this sinus infection/upper respiratory infection and get thru the next couple days at work.

Have great workouts everyone. I'm probably gonna go order the new DVDs now. Us advanced peeps can always use the premixes she's putting together on them to make them harder. We do need to incorporate some easier stuff in our routines, right?

Lora ~ I haven't decided if I'm going to pre order the new DVDs. Are they cheaper if you preorder? There are so many others I still want to get. Hope you're feeling better. Definitely get some rest this weekend.

I'm getting a very late start on my work out, but I'm going to do GS-CT and a run on the treadmill. My DD had a sleep over last night with her two cousins, so we were up late. I finally went to my room and fell asleep and they came in to ask a question. I vaguely remember that. I hope it was nothing important!

Sabrina ~ Hope you had a great b-day with your family. You're probably in NJ right now or on your way? My grandfather lived in Centrallia when I was a kid. We used to go down there all the time. I think that is a little farther than Peoria? Hey, if you're ever up in my neck of the woods give me a holler.

Nicole ~ Yes, I did GSL and the 200 lunges. I did the same work out last week, but today I have more DOMS. Hmm, "bounce a quarter off of..." I finally was able to complete all of those "slow motion lunges" in GSL, I think that's what they are called. I had to drop the weights though. Those are so hard, but my legs were truly on fire.

Susan ~ Congrats! 35 is NOT old! Of course, I just turned 35.;) Does that make you due in January? My youngest was born on Jan 28. What number is this going to be?

Good Day!!

Well...today is my Friday because I don't have to work tomorrow...Woo-hoo!!!!

This morning I just did CTX 10-10-10. It was my first time doing that one. Not sure if I like it or not, but I didn't have much time this morning so it was good. I don't know if I will do any working out at lunch today or not. I do have an interval/weight class to teach tonight. I think tomorrow I will be doing something from the Terminator DVD (probably the second workout - not sure what it's called).

Lora...I'm sure I won't get the new DVDs. What I might do is order them for my sister so I can get free-shipping on a few other DVDs I'd like to have.

Dallas...When my kids have sleep overs the same thing happens to me. I know they wait until I'm sleep to ask me stuff because they know I don't care at that point.

Today I plan to do CTX upper body and C&W:D Am I NUTS ha ha. The rotation called for CTX upper plus body fusion (don't have body fusion) Anyways WISH me luck......... I FEEL like the workout QUEEN ;-

Lora I was NOT going to order these because I have so many other dvds that are lower intensity, but for that price I can't pass it up eesp. for the stretch one. I think I would use CM more if it was 10 sshorter. So I am going to order :)

Dallas happy to hear you can complete those slow motion lunges ;-) And the 200 walking lunges.... You go girl... and you to may be bouncing quarters;-)

Marietta it usually takes me 2-3times to see if I really like a certain dvd....I really enjoy the CTX dvd :D Have FUN with the terminator tomorrow:D

It sounds like a cool workout...If I recall, C&W doesn't have that much chest work anyway...so it should feel good...go get em tigerette!!

You guys have me wanting to do walking lunges...hmmmm...maybe next week I'll work it into my rotation - whatever that is.

Hi All,

This morning's workout was ok. I started with 200 walking lunges and a jog around the block; then did GS BSB, Timesaver.

I had a really stressful day yesterday, between work and my fil, just things getting to me. I actually called in "sick" for a couple hours this morning. I usually have to be on my deathbed before I call in. I spent the time cleaning the house. I can't think straight if there is a mess. Plus I'm leaving early tomorrow morning for Vegas. I'm stressed about what to wear. I'm not really showing, but my suits don't fit either.

Lora, I hope you rest up this weekend. Sinus infections are awful.

Marietta, I think the w/o you're referring to is Viper. I really like that one! I rarely reach for the cardio in CTX, but it is pretty good when you're short on time.

Nicole, I'm interested in the new DVD's. I only have Cathe w/o's, so something not so grueling will probably appeal to me in few months or so. I asked SNM if they are going to be doing the two DVD’s with premixes.

Dallas, It's funny, I get doms pretty bad two days after doing walking lunges also. Every other muscle, it's usually the next day. Well, the people I've seen so far can't predict my due date. Thats a doctor for you! I've heard from Jan. 31 to Feb 13.

Sabrina, Happy Birthday (a day late)! You have such nice kids to bring you breakfast in bed! Have a blast on the trip!! I can't wait to hear about it.

Hi everyone,
Todays work out was Cardio Coach Vol 2 using the Bowflex rowing and Using my step on the challenges. I did Power 15's and fast step repeaters on the challenges. I followed this with Shoulders, calves and abs, then added on Core Max#2 and Stretch Max #2.

Susan when I feel stressed I like to sit in the hot tub and do a SM segment. This really relaxes me. As long as I keep my mind away from what I need to get done. Maybe after packing and cleaning?:)
