Hardcore Rotation Checkin Saturday August 13

Hi Everyone - (whoever's out there today, as I realize a lot of you don't check in on Saturdays)

Today was my scheduled rest day, but I planned on doing a brief high intensity segment on the Eliptical or Bike downstairs (which I hate), but I ended up surpising myself and had a GREAT aerobic session. I rocked out to my new Seether CD (always have been a hard rock girl) and got into it so much that my heartrate stayed at 150-160 (which is high for me - but I had the resistance cranked up). I did this mainly for my foot's sake. I ended up doing 15 minutes on the ellipitical and then about 30 more on the bike. I also remembered why I hate working out in the basement....NO AIRCONDITIONING in the summer and barely any heat in the winter. I can't do this on a work day, cuz I get too hot and can't cool down enough after my shower to put my makeup on.

I'm scheduled to do MIC tomorrow, but I'm thinking of maybe doing the step only portion and another 40 minutes on the bike and elipitcal (for my foot). What does everyone think? I'm still waiting to talk to the doctor.

Hi Lora-your workout sounds awesome! I hope to one day have an elliptical or a spin bike. I like my treadmill but would love the variety of more..LOL Who here doesn't!

I think I will do the run and since I don't have leaner legs I will do gymstyle legs. Also I will do 5 miles instead of 3. Yesterday I was pretty worn out and thought I would rest today. But after eating a very healthy dinner with a few more calories then I normally eat I fely so much better! So I will do my rest day tomorrow. I think I better log my calories as I am sure I wasn't getting enough with this rotation plus the stuff I add into it. Ok I will shutup now about rest days as you all are probably sick of hearing me say I have a hard time tsking them! So tomorrow as hard as it will be for me I will take one. Thats an accompishment for me!

Marietta-I would love to be able to take one of your classes. I bet you kick butt!
Nicole-I hope my book comes soon as I slacked in the organixing yesterday!
Dallas-Are you resting today?
Diane Sue-we all are excited for you to be able to spend time with DH...time will be here before you know it!

Hi everyone,
Sorry I didn’t check in yesterday, but I did do my workout. I did MIC and CM2. CM was mostly crunches on the stability ball. This seemed to take forever!

Yesterday I took my son to six flag and shopping afterwards. We went to Barnes and Noble to purchase to 30 days to a simpler life book, but they didn’t have it. I flipped through some other organization books to get ideas. While I was there I purchased a Pilates ring w/ video. I might try that one night this week.

Well, I had full intentions on doing the dreaded cardio this morning, but my husband got kind of mad at my son since his room is messy, so I spent the time helping him out. My w/o room is on the upper-upper level of our house. The central air doesn’t reach it, so now the room feels like 120 degrees. I just turned some fans on to help, but I don’t know, I might take today off and not tomorrow.

I'll try to check back later *if* I workout. hee hee

Today I plan on doing IMAX2 cardio blast (that should cover the 3 mile run) Then I will do LL!!

Terri I have been slacking off to I start out better at the beginning of the week. I have BIG IDEAS in my mind, but I just need to follow through with doing them physically ha ha. Once you get the book let me know and *WE* can all start motivating each other by bragging what we have got accomplished;-)

Susan happy that you found something at the store ha ha I have the (magic circle pilates ring and I LOVE it!!) I like to use it when Cathe has those stability ball squeezes:7

Marietta I think it is GREAT you are a instructor:D It is nice to have your expertise on this check-in:D

HI LADIES!!!

I'm home! It was so much fun! We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge Mon-Thurs and then went to La Crosse for Thursday evening and stayed there because I had an appointment with an allergy specialist Friday morning. They injected stuff underneath the top layer of skin and waited to see which ones would raise up and expand. I was over on all the ones they tested on me. Oops! LOL! I take antigens now and go back in October. They took blood too to see test it with foods to see which ones I am allergic to too. They will call me in a week or so. I will be fine as long as it is not chocolate!! LOL! Speaking of chocolate, I had and still have fudge! Oooohhhh!! It is so good. I also had Krispy Kreme donuts. What trouble those are. I had never been to the store since there is not one close here. We stopped to get some to try and the boys wanted some. I went in to get them and when I walked in the guy was like "welcome to krispy kreme. Want a free sample?" Of course I said "YES". It was hot off the line and I got a whole donut! Melt in your mouth! Man oh man! I bought two dozen and they were gone in two days. We went back to the lodge to stay another night (Friday night) and came home this afternoon. My DH said he didn't want me to remember the trip with a nasty hotel in La Crosse and getting stuck with needles for the testing so we spend another night at the lodge and played in the waterpark. The waterpark is really big and there is so much to do. It was a blast. The condo we stayed in was very nice!! I highly reccommend going and staying there. I could go on and on about the trip. I was a bad girl for most of the trip! I even had 4 raspberry daquiries (not sure on the spelling) while we were there. I never drink! LOL!

I did not get a chance to check in yesterday. I kept grandchildren overnight and was up late so thought I would wait till today.
Fridays workout was SJP w/u & step, CTX 10,10,10 cardio,CTX step & intervals cardio, Then HSch cardio only and abs, MM abs and then upper, st
Today was HC Extreme Intervals, MM Lower, and Core Max complete core premix
I am not sure about tomorrow. I am getting up early to go to the airport. I probably wont be on here much for the next three weeks:) I will be savoring my tyme with my hubby while I have him here. I may still get in a few workouts here and there.
