Hardcore Rotation Checkin Monday Aug 8

Morning Everyone -

Today I only had time for Step, Pump & Jump Premix - Step & Weights. I'm going to work the early shift and try to get into a foot doctor later.

Looks like this month's rotation is going to be altered by all of these doctor appts this month (between the dentist and everything else). I will do my best to stick to the rotation when I can. After my vacation ....at the end of August (when I go to Vegas and take my 5 rest days), I'll probably do a few weeks of variety workouts on return and then I'm
thinking of repeating this Bootcamp Rotation again after vacation.

Have great workouts everyone. Thanks for all of the support!!

Happy Monday!!

Well, I haven't checked in since Friday, so let me tell you guys what I've been up to.

Saturday - CTX Step only, 400 walking lunges, 200 jumping jacks, 2 sets of 25 dips, 2 sets of 100 crunches, PUB (premix-up pyramid).

Sunday - IMAX3 and 20 Terminators

Today - 6.25 mile run

Now I'm officially caught up on the August 05 rotation.

Everybody is doing an awesome job on their workouts!! Let's keep it up!!

Lora - Just hang in there, take care of your foot so that you can have a decent time on your vacation.

Terri - How long does it take to do BootCamp X2? What day in the rotation are you and your friend on now?

Dallas - I see you have Bootcamp X2 for today...let us know how it goes.

Hi to all that follow...I'll be back later!

HI there,

Well, I'm not happy.:( I had a really good weekend, did most of IMAX3, and took yesterday off, getting all psyched for my 5 mile jog today... It just didn't happen. I can push through "good" pain in exercise, such as my hip flexors and knees aching while I was jogging, but then got this really, really bad pain in my back (left lower). I tried to walk it off, and then start again, but it just came back. It was awful, so I stopped. I only went about 1.5 miles.

Looks like everyone else is doing well! Lora, I'm sorry to hear about your foot. Hopefully it will be better by the time you leave for vacation.

I was thinking of *cheating* a bit tomorrow. Instead of BC twice, do BC followed by the BC/ME premix. It's still an hour, but more weights are used. This should be around 115 minutes.

I'll check back later.

Susan

Hello Everyone,
Today I plan on doing Imax 3 in place of the run!!(I might add a section of the cardio blast premix at the end? I will wait and see I it goes?

Lora sorry to hear you are still having trouble with your foot!! Hope it gets better soon!!

Susan be HAPPY:D You at least got a little bit of a run in! I think it is GOOD you walked it out! That is the best thing you can do is listen to your body!!

Marietta I am with you I am really enjoying this rotation!!

Well hope you ALL have a GREAT Day I will try and check in later!!

Hello everyone today I am back on schedule doing the run after skipping a rest day and doing bootcamp day yesterday. I am also going to do legs and glutes later today.

Marrieta- I didn't time the bootcamp twice workout but i am pretty sure it was over 90 minutes. I only did the warmup once and the cool down once. The second time around flies by. Not sure why but it does. I aam back on schedule today doing mondays workout. It is fun to have a cathe partner :)

Lora- So sorry about all your doc appts. I hate going to the doctor!
Susan-Back pain ouch! I iagree with nicole be happy you at least got a bit of a run in.

Nicole-Imax3 I have only seen parts of in hardcore extreme. My hats off to anyone who does that workout! Lots of jumps on and off the step from what I have done in hadcore extreme and its tough! It is fun to have a cathe partner :)

Greeat workouts ladies and hello to all who check in later.

Good Morning All!

Woo Hoo! I did it! I did BC twice. I actually feel pretty good right now. I had to stop briefly during cycle 2 to change a diaper! LOL! My DS hates when I'm all sweaty. I managed to do all of those terminators both times. The last two or three probably were not the best form. The second time around I had to finish the push ups on my knees. Some exercises I increased my weight (not much), but a 5 lb increase. Most were the same. Terri, you're right the second time goes by faster. Isn't that weird?

Lora ~ that does stink having to go to all of those dr. appointments. What I hate the most is waiting.

Susan ~ I'm so glad you listened to your body. I've pushed through pain only to end up NOT exercising for way too long.

Nicole ~ I said it yesterday, but Imax 3 is a great substitution. That is one tough work out. I haven't finished it yet.

Marietta ~ You got some great work outs in over the weekend. Today's work out took me just about two hours. I did the warm up 1 1/2 times. The second time around I used it as a continued stretch. I did the cool down twice. I added a segment of SM too.

Terri ~ How do you feel today? :)

Have some errands to do with the kids now. I'll check back if I can.

It's really quiet today....everybody must be busy.

Susan...sorry about your run this morning...glad you listened to your body. Has your back ever bothered you before?

Nicole...I have to know...did you add the cardio blast to the end of IMAX3?

Terri...I saw your post on one of the other topics about not taking rest days. We sound a lot alike. I very seldom take rest days...not because I'm worry about how it will affect my body because I know that's not the case, but more because I feel so darn good when I work out that I hate when I don't. I do have enough sense to listen to my body and I think that's all that matters. To each his own...right?

Hi...to the rest of the gang!!

Well...guess I'll hear from you guys tomorrow!

Well ladies - I just got back from the doctor. It's funny....I was just reading the posts about listening to your body. I NEVER take rest days anymore and guess what the doctor just told me.......my foot that was injured on June 1st is now a healing stress fracture. I told him I never stopped doing aerobics, but I modified on my rebounder. He said I was very lucky that I didn't displace it and have to have surgery. It said it is on it's way to being healed and healing rather nicely. He said I must be one tough cookie. My husband said I'm an idiot and I I wanted to say.....No, I'm a Vidiot......Cathe Vidoiot to be exact! Anyway, he cut the callus off of my other foot which he said had turned into a 2nd degree burn from friction and using the callus liquid stuff. So if anyone ever gets a callus, don't ever use the Liquid Corn & Callus Remover solf over the counter. He gave me a cream for them. He also told me I have some hereditary conditions also with my feet. He gave me achilles stretches to do 3 times a day. He said that people who exercise a lot tend to have shortened achilles tendons (especially after years of exercise).

Anyway, I understand about not taking days off.......geez....look what I just did.....modified Cathe with a stress fracture for 2 months plus. (I'm not suggesting this to anyone and I'm glad I ended up okay)

Hi everyone,
I didnt get all of the core work I wanted today so maybe I can do it tomorrow. I had family come in.
I started with Circuit Max, stopped at the st. went on to HSTA cardio & Upper premix, then did Boot Camp upper only and core.

Lora I am sorry about your foot. At least maybe now you can fully recover from it. I am guilty of not giving up my workouts at times. I will take a couple of rest days & get anxious to jump right back in.

Susan I hope your back is better next time. It pays to be careful. Bootcamp and the BC ME premix sounds like a good idea to me.

Have a great day
