Hardcore Rotation Checkin Monday Aug 15

Good Morning Everyone,

This morning I did Boot Camp X 2 (actually about 1 and a half). I did 1 hour and 40 minutes. I used the rebounder for the jumping and impact. My foot's been bothering me quite a bit since I stopped limping and started walking normally on it. I'm probably going to have to modify a lot this week and next week, as I'm going to Vegas on the 27th and I'm starting to get really nervous about all of the upcoming walking there.

Sunday - Rest
Today - MM/PLB Stability Ball and I plan to run at lunch today.

I'm going to do week four of the Aug05 rotation instead of week three this week...I'm just not feeling week 3 right now. I'll see how I feel about it next week.

Lora...Just hang in there! Keep modifying so that you can enjoy your vacation!!

Sabrina...Welcome back!! Are there pictures??

Diane Sue...I know you're happy!!

Terri...did you really, really rest?? I did...not even a stretch...not even core...I did nothing yesterday!!

Lora ~ You're foot is really worrying me! Could you do some cardio without the impact? Biking? Swimming? Take it easy girl! :)

OK, I heading down now for the Fitness Fiesta. I had my alarm set for 6A, but couldn't get up. I think this one is going to take longer than I thought. That seems to be the consensus on the other check-ins. I also would like to squeeze in some upper body. Tomorrow calls for CTX upper body. Is that complete upper body? I don't have that one. Anyone have suggestions for a substitution? Also, is Step Works straight stepping with no blasts? TIA!

I'm going to look into that Freestyle Methods book? Anyone here know anything about it?

Sabrina ~ love your pictures! Wow! A mom of three boys! I have two and have my hands full!:D

Marietta ~ We miss you on the weekends.

Nicole ~ I forgot to add I did the mud room closet too! 3 bags of coats and shoes! In the fall we donate the coats to a shelter. So, I'll have to store that bag.

Lora-I too am worried about your foot. You sound as stubborn as me:) No matter what must workout..Anyway I hope it feels much better before your trip! Try to take it easier for a few days and see if that helps. I know that is hard to do.

Marietta-Yes I did indeed take a rest day! I was going to do abs but since I am a all or nothing person I did nothing:) It was hard not to feel like I was being lazy and here is a big surprise-I DIDN"T wake up fat this morning from missing one day! Who knew? Oh yeah all you guys did:)

Sabrina-We want more details about the trip. Besides making us drool for fudge!
Nicole-I am calling barnesand noble today. My book should have been here!

Dallas-Can't wait to see how the fitness fiesta goes for you. I can't do it until mid day as I am interviewing a potential employee this morning.

Hi guys,

Boy did I underestimate the time this "fiesta" workout would take. I was also surprised how hard it was! I think I spent about an hour to 70 minutes on it!
Tomorrow's workout takes over 100 minutes, so be prepared.

Yesterday I did MIS.

Lora, take it easy on your foot so you can enjoy your vacation. I did a lot of walking when I was there.

Terri, don't you leave pretty soon for your vacation? Around the 20th?

Dallas, I love going out to dinner on the weekends also. I saw the thread about Freestyle book, but didn't read it yet.

Nicole, Saturday I spent the day polishing my floors and doing lots of cleaning. I also emptied out and sorted through my kitchen drawers and bathroom cabinets. I'm concentrating on having a place for everything. I told my DH I want some shelving put in the basement so I can easily find things. This morning while doing my w/o I was watching QVC, they had closet organizers and storage things. I might get that. My business clothes (which I hardly need anyway, but just cant part with yet) are in the "baby's" room, and that needs to go.

Diane Sue, have a great time catching up with your husband!

Marietta, that's what I like about this rotation, you can swtich the workouts around. SO, far I've been *almost* to the letter with this one.

Hey Susan...I didn't say "HI" to your in my earlier post. I'm so sorry...I hope you had a great weekend. You must be feeling pretty good...this is the hardest time of a preganancy to workout so if you make it through this...it's smooth sailing all the way!!

Sabrina...I went to check out your pictures....You and your boys are absolutely adorable!! How old are you...about 15 (smile)?

Hi again!

Today's work out took me about an hour and a half. I substituted Tough Core premix from CM. That's 18 minutes. I'm sure that substitution cut some time off of my work out. I was dripping in sweat! I was getting a little dizzy from the toe touches. I finished them though. I used the end of my step for the squat thrusts. I did those in sets of 20. I also used the treadmill for the jogging in place and the jump roping.

Susan ~ Thanks for the link. I'll have to check that out later. I'm taking the kids to the library after my shower.

HI Ladies!!

I am putting more pictures in the picture trail that I just opened for you to see. There are lots to see. I doubt if I put them all up though. We had so much fun! The waterpark at the lodge is huge, inside and outside. We never went to another waterpark while we were there. There is the howlin tornado waterslide plus several others. The lodge is still adding on. They are adding a wave pool outside among other things. There was a 1,000 gallon tipping bucket inside. You had to watch your clothes or there was the possibility of showing more than you wanted. LOL!

The lodge also has a 4 story dry play area to play in too. There are nerf balls to put in machines to earn points and you can also shoot them at each other (from different floors too). Some machines would have different animals eating certain color balls and it would also spit them back out at you if they didn't like them. The kids thought this was funny.

I have no idea what workout I will get in today. I have been busy! The boys go back to school Wednesday. Yikes!

Dallas...You got in a good workout...I like the subsitutions you made.

Susan...Have you done the Body Solution workouts...this looks pretty good. I like it better than Free-Style at least on paper.

Oh...I was planning to run during lunch today, but it was raining so I did the EFX for 50 minutes. I'm sure that the low-impact did me some good.

Quick question? For a circuit type work out would you sub C&W, BMax, BC. I think that's all the circuits I have. I'm leaning towards C&W, since I haven't done it in awhile.

Sabrina ~ great pictures. I definitely want to get my family up there now. I want to show my DH. You two are a great looking couple. Your boys are too cute.

Hello Everyone,
Today I PUT OFF doing the fiesta!! I finally got the motivation to get it done!! YAY I am really happy that's over:7 Marietta I can totally relate to WHY you switched weeks ha ha. When I saw this today I really wanted to just blow it off, but........... I did'nt:+ I much rather follow my dvds!!

Terri did you get your book? You have a good start going!! Boy Dallas is really going to town on getting those bags filled:7 You are to Susan:D Today I tackled socks........Yes I finally matched socks, and decluttering.

Dallas you could do high step advanced or HSC to in place of CM. Also for upper body you could do MIS upper body in place of CTX.

omorrow is going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG........ workout!!

Susan where is that picture????? Love to see it ha ha....


Well I had better go start getting the kids and me to bed!! GOSH I REALLY NEED to get back on a schedule!! Won't have a choice when the kids start school next week!!
