Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Wednesday Oct 19

Morning Ladies -

I only had time to do BB Timesaver Chest & Triceps this morning, as I have a doctor appointment and need to work the early shift. That was a so/so workout, but it makes it a pretty easy day for me.

I was thinking I'd do a non-Cathe, sort of recovery week next week, but now I'm opting for finishing this rotation this month and then doing a non-cathe semi-recovery few days. I was planning on taking a total rest day on Saturday, but now since I'm off Friday and Monday, I'll probably be too energized to take a day off...LOL!

Then I was thinking I'll take 2 sick days next week (probably make another long weekend and take Thurs and Fri). It looks like I'll have some nice days to get in some good workouts. Maybe I'll even do an AM & PM routine.

I really wish I knew what my future held! I hate not knowing where I'm going to end up and "fear of the unknown". I'm the type of person that likes to bulldoze right thru the scary stuff, as that's the only way I can get thru it and I'm sooooo ready to move on to the next part of my life and get the painful part over with.

My boss will be there this morning (joy), so I'll not be able to check in until she leaves. Although, what are they gonna do, fire me?

I did SJP this AM. After a 2-week self-imposed layoff (slump) I started the August Bootcamp Rotation on Monday morning. So far, so good!

Lora ~ I hear 'ya about feeling frustrated about "the unknown"...it's human nature. Is that humor I detect in your comment about your boss being there today and "what are they gonna do, fire me?" (!) I hope it's humor...laughter (and working out!) are truly the best medicine.

Kim - Yep, that's humor! One thing this can't take away from me is my sense of humor. And you ladies probably know nothing stands in the way of my AM exercise routine. However, I will admit that a few days recently, I didn't feel like getting out of bed to face the day or even exercise in the morning. I'm trying to fight my depression though. I have quite a history with depression and it's a constant battle, especially at times in my life when I've been landblasted by something like this. Thanks for checking in this morning Kim!
 
Hi Lora and Kim,

Today is gymstyle chest and triceps, a run, and a coremax segment. My dad wil be out of the hospital today as his chest pains are gone. Thank God. My son is doing better and will be fine for his cd releade party on the 29th.

Lora-I hear ya on the unkown! I like adventure and sstuff but not when it comes to my livliehood! Hang in there and it sounds like you are! I had to laugh about all your days off and workouts. That so sounds like me anytime I need to take a rest or try to convince myself. I just think of ways to put it off. I think a non cathe few days might be good for you. Let me know how that goes.

Good Morning,

Today I did PS Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, followed by CTX Step Intervals and Chest.
I really like this rotation, weights and cardio each day. I might continue through November.

Lora, I saw your post last night. Scary stuff doctors pull. When I was in HS I worked in the Admitting Dept and ER. I hated it!
I still think you should take a couple of days off. Have you decided about that other position?

Well, I have a meeting to go to now. I'll be back in a bit.

Good morning!!

Well...this morning I actually did the workout that I intended to do. I've been having problems with that lately...let's hope I stay on track.

I did a 2.5 mile run as a warmup and then did PS Back and Biceps. I will probably go for another run during lunch.

Feeling a little DOMS in my legs...been working them pretty hard this week. It's all good though...

Lora - Again I say...Hang in there. Have you given thought to the other position or you next move??

Terri - I'm glad to hear you dad and DS are doing good. Now you can relax and get back in the groove...

Susan - Nice workout...I think I might have to do that one tomorrow morning.

Hello Everyone,
Today I did Firm cardio-sculpt :D I really like the pace of the firms leg press's. The workout I did mon. I really felt in my glutes so that's why I pulled out another firm today:7 Last night I did 25 min. floor work of hips and thighs.

This afternoon I am thinking I will do CTX upper or SS/PP upper not sure yet???

Kim it's so nice to have you back:D You are going from slump to bootcamp}( All I can say is you GO GIRL:7 I really enjoyed that rotation, and had good results!! I felt like Hercules ha ha.

Lora just keep doing your workouts!! I think you may want to focus on kickbox these days}( ha ha Oh and Lora I would go for all the sick days you can;)

Susan I to have really been enjoying doing cardio and wts (although I have been breaking mine up (cardio am and wts afternoon/evening) Are you going to do the same rotation you have been doing??? Let me know or if you make one up I will join you:D

Morning Everyone!

Today I did a 30 minute run on the treadmill. I would have liked to go longer (I was just getting into the groove) and my ds2 woke up. He was pretty upset. He must have had a bad dream.:-( I still have to do GS-C&T and CM #2. I'm combining two days of the rotation. It also calls for a SM segment. Yesterday, I was supposed to GSL standing only. Oops, so I'll have to add that on somewhere. Probably not today though.

Lora ~ Yes, it's good that you still have your humor about you. Glad you are taking some days off. Hang in there! :)

Terri ~ Glad to hear everyone is OK. I got your e-mail and I'll try to reply later today.

Sabrina ~ I e-mailed you a couple of days ago about some places to eat. My ds6 game is early, so I still may be able to join you all for lunch. No shopping though. I'll let you know. It's 12:30P, right?

Marietta ~ I'm having trouble sticking to the rotation as well. :-( At least, I'm still working out though.

Nicole ~ Thanks for the e-mail with that rotation. I haven't had the chance to check out the link. I'll let you know when I do.

Hi ladies!

Hope everyone is having a great day. I am busy cleaning the house and cooking things for this evening (my Bunko party). I have already been to the store and to walmart for things I have forgotten. ;-)

Dallas-I hope you can meet us for lunch on Saturday!! That would be great. We are meeting at 12:30.

I have to go check my mini pumpkin pies! I will try and check in later. :)
 
You guys er girls. I think our Halloween decorations are scaring my son. I think that's why he was so upset this AM. He came into the work out room and said, "There's a ghost." After that he played cars on the workout room floor the whole time. My decorations are not the scary kind either. Oh boy, wait until he sees some of the costumes on Halloween.

Sabrina ~ Yes, I'll let you know. Dh just called and said we have to leave for our night out by 4P. That might be cutting it really close. He couldn't get Sox tickets. :-( Mmm, mini pumpkin pies!

The holidays are approaching quickly! We have to work out hard now!

Hey Everyone,

Sabrina - How are pies turning out? They sound good. Bunko, huh?

Well, I went and signed the papers at HR and I don't work here any more. I wasn't told this, but found out (from someone else) that I have the option of staying home or working and either way, I'll still get paid for my 2 weeks. I found out this is true, but I need to talk to my manager before I can leave and I can't get a hold of her! Ugh.

Dallas - I'm sorry you're son is afraid of the decorations. How old is he?
 
Lora, I'm glad you got to check in, to keep us posted. So, you're not taking the other position offered? I don't blame you. That schedule was crazy.

Dallas, I can't even say Halloween around my son. He calls it the "H" word. He hates everything about Halloween. He's willing to go to a few houses, but that's it. I don't put anything around the house that resembles the holiday either ~ just Fall decor'.

Sabrina, my sister and bil catered a wedding over the weekend. They brought back a bunch of mini-pumpkin pies for me. I gave some to my fat neighbor :9.

You ladies are nuts and I love it!!! LOL!

I have the mini pumpkin pies done (with cool whip) and the mini cheesecakes (with cherry topping to be put on) done. I am working on the homemade BBQ's now. That will take all afternoon. I need to go mix up the BBQ sauce for them yet. I also thought I had better have some clean food (lol) so I bought carrots, broccoli, and califlower (sp?) and veggie dip. I also have crackers, 2 cheeses, and little smoked sausages. Then there are chips for salsa and jalepeno cheese dip. Oh and olives and sweet pickles too. Do you think that is enough?

Better get back to cleaning the house. ;-)
 
Hey Girls!!

I went for a nice 5 mile run at lunch today...it was nice and cool outside and I beat all the guys today!! Woo-Hoo!!!!

Nicole - Glad you are having good "Firm" workouts this week...sometimes change is good...What kinda upper body work did you end up doing?

Dallas - (Love that name by the way)...Sorry you had to cut your run short this morning...I made it up for you (smile). Rotations are just not for me this month I guess...as long as we are doing something...right?

Sabrina - Mini Pumpkin Pies!! You are something else...hope you didn't just make them for fat people (smile).

Lora - Four words....FORGET THEM - LEAVE ALREADY!!
