Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Wed Dec 7

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did Shape Toning for Upper Body and Legs and then I went in the basement and did leg extensions, leg curls and leg presses. I never work out in the basement cuz it's really small and my husband doesn't like me in his way. I then did the Shape 20 minute Cardio workout followed by Cathe's HSC abs and stretch.

I didn't want to get out of bed this morning....as I had another rough day yesterday. I learned the Payroll part of my job yesterday and learned the software. Today, I'm on my own.....this ought to be interesting. My boss is still being a jerk and she did some more stuff yesterday. I'm starting to dread getting up in the morning (moreso than usual)! This is not good! Well, at least I slept last night. I was exhausted again last night and couldn't stay awake to accomplish anything.

I got notification that my Transfirmer shipped. I hope it gets here soon so I can try them.

Have great workouts everyone. I'll try to check in from work, but I'm not sure I'll be able to with the amount of work I have.

Today I layed in bed and cuddled with my dd6. It was dark and cold, and she did'nt want me to leave. So I will have to do a workout sometime this afternoon. I plan to do Firm it up and slim and 6 pack. I have found that now that it is dark and cold I DO NOT like getting up early to workout.

Lora I can't wait to hear what you think of your transfirmer!!

Hello Ladies,

First I want to thank you all for your kind words about Christmas morning with you:) I will be fine and my son and his gf will be over later in the day. So I will workout christmas morning and maybe buy myself a new workout to do that morning. That should keep the blues away! Just another milestone in life I guess.

Nicole it is 6 below zero here today and I have no desire to leave my house!
Lora-Have you considered looking for a different job? This cannot be good for your health! Too much stress!
Marietta-You are so sweet and I am glad to see you back.

Today I am going to do bodymax and later I will do mix it up. I am still waitinf for firm it up to arrive.

Happy Hump Day!!!

This morning I did Leaner Legs and the intermediate and high intensity drills in KPC. I'll do some cardio at lunch, but haven't decided what I'll do just yet.

Lora - You had a good workout this morning...I'm sure your workouts are helping you manage your stress a little bit...if you didn't have that you would be a wreck with that crazy boss of yours. Hang in there...

Nicole - Its been hard for me to wake up and work out these cold mornings too!! I know exactly where you're coming from.

Terri - It's pretty cold here too...almost as cold as it is where you are...but when it's this cold a couple of degrees don't matter all that much do they? A new workout for Christmas morning sounds awesome! Wish we'd have our new Cathe's by then...but it doesn't look like it.

Lora ~ I'm glad you got in a good work out this AM, I'm sure that it helps with the amount of stress you're under.

Nicole ~ I hear you! I didn't want to get out of bed either. I did do Bryan Kest Power Yoga last night as I couldn't sleep. I finished that about 11:30P. That felt great and that's just what I needed.

Terri ~ I'm glad that you'll see your son and gf later on Christmas day.

Marietta ~ Good workout! You always have something nice to say! We hate when you stay away too long. ;-)

OK, I'm going to get in a kb workout that I planned on doing yesterday. I'm not sure exactly what, but I'll try and check back later. Today is one of our shopping days, so I'll have to run after my workout.

Morning ladies!!

I am freezing!! It is -4 here. In my house it is only 66. We are having a problem with our geothermal unit and someone is suppose to come and look at it. It was suppose to be yesterday but they didn't make it. It constantly runs and never really gets much warmer in here. I hate being cold!

Lora-nice workout! I hope you have a better day at work today.

Nicole-I think we all should have stayed in bed today.

Terri-What workout are you going to purchase for Christmas morning? Maybe I should workout with you because I imagine I will have all kinds of stress. We are to go to my SIL's for Christmas (an hour away). I hate leaving home on Christmas.

Susan-Thanks for the information. I will have to look at it in a few minutes. My test is next Thursday. Thank goodness, I need to get some more studying done. If it ever gets warm in here!!

Hi everyone!

I woke up extra early today for some reason. Since I finally received Firm It Up last night, I did that one today - TWICE.
I did most of the abs once though. For the floorwork, I laid on my weight bench with just a slight incline (so I could breath). The second time through I used 2 pound weights.
I can't believe I just said that!! I'm so use to 40-60 pounds. hahaha
Dallas I think you'll like the bit of change once you get your copy.

Lora, you had a good workout this morning. DO you have a vertical leg press? That's what I have.
Btw, do you know if Tracie's older workouts are being sold anywhere? I forget her other website address and couldn't locate it today.

Dallas, the discount for Tracie's new dvd's is until December 31.

Terri, Well, I'm shortening my workout time. I've always scheduled two hours each day (not that I worked out that *entire* time). I now just plan on one workout per day. Some things I just can't do, like push ups. I can on my knees though.

Nicole, I know what you mean about not wanting to get out of bed when it's dark and cold. I set my thermostat nice a warm an hour before I get up in the morning, so it shouldn't be too, too bad.

Terri I bet after hearing Susan doing this 2 x today has got you excited about getting yours!! YOU all have inspired me to add the floor work of burn it up in after my workout today. (that one gets the crease of my butt really good:eek: Hey did you look at the TLT's clip? That is what got me to order them.

Dallas missed you yesterday...... I know had you been here we would have really had a much longer post haha.

WOW Susan you did it twice?? How long is it because Nicole is right and I am very excited to recieve it now! You know what I realized? I need burn it up! I don't have that one either :(

I have all but that one and cool it down or whatever it is called :)

I have no idea what workout I will buy to do for christmas. Maybe the gauntlet one or something non cathe. Any suggestion?

Terri, It's really not that hard of a workout. You do lots of squats with NO weight. Then you do some glute tucks (this should ONLY be done at home in privacy, btw hahaha). I think the workout is about an hour, but skipping the warm up and abs on round two made it really quick.
I'll let you know if I have any doms tomorrow.
I highly recommend Cathe's Terminator dvd if you don't have it already.

Nicole, I will purchase the TLT dvd's closer to the end of the month. I'm pretty sure I won't be using them right away, so I'm not in a big rush. Plus, it spaces out what I've been charging on my cc as it is. I noticed Amazon.com has xerballs the cheapest. If my local Walmart/Target doesn't carry them, I'll order from there.

Sabrina, you had asked about Tracie's older workouts. It's on the first link (out of the 3) I posted yesterday.

Ok this may sound weird but I love glute tucks. They are so affective and keep you in practice for other things :) Oh my did I say that? Well I think that is where Susan was going with "the privacy of home":) Yes the Terminator is one I have hadmy eyes on. I have almost all the rest of her stuff except the really old stuff. I hear power circuit is good as well.

Hi ladies -

My boss finally went somewhere....although, I have so much work to do that I really shouldn't be screwing off, but this is important! My Transfirmer came. I just called home to see what came in the mail. It's here!! I'm probably going to do one on Friday and one on Sunday.

Susan - Yes, I have a vertical leg press (or should I say...my husband...since I'm really not allowed down there). I went on the treadmill on Sunday and he wouldn't come down to lift weights until I was finished down there and he was mad. The basement only goes under the original part of our house (very small). Our house was added on to. We have a treadmill, an elipitical, a bike, an olympic bench, weights, leg press, preacher curl bench, lat pull down machine and of course a washer and dryer and there is hardly any room to stand to workout. I keep telling him I want to come down there some times to lift but he gets irritated....so I just keep doing my DVDs. However, I'm so unhappy with my legs lately...that I forced my self in his space this morning for 20 minutes. It didn't kill him either! LOL.
 
You're right Lora...that IS important! I heard lots of people really like the Transfirmer. I'd like to hear what you think of it and how it compare to step ups.

If your husband doenst like you working out in the basement, tell HIM to go! hahaha Just kidding, but really... it's your house too! Maybe you two could workout together. I know it gets to be a bit of a pain switching weights, but it could be worth a try.

I am DONE x-mas shopping! Yippee! I'm doing the happy dance! My sil and her girlfriend had 7 kids today. They looked relieved when I showed up. It wasn't a good kid day for them I guess.:-( It's at my house Friday and I'll be alone, but with only 5 kids. Yikes!

Well it is cold here as well. Right now it is snowing. That always makes me reluctant to get out of bed:) Today I did Kick Max stopping at the leg toning, did 2.5 miles on the treadmill, then did the leg toning on KM, MIS Lower, then PP 3 sets each inner outer thighs and calves, st. I went shopping today for a Turkey and Ham for Christmas dinner. I am baking cookies for this Saturday as family will be over for a day of games. I am so excited that I found 1 pair of Dansko shoes that I wanted from Zappos.com. I tried last week and they had none in my size in black and it only took 3 days to get them. I am picky about my shoes as I think I have some kind of neuroma. I need lots of toe room.

Dallas, I heard about what happened in Iraq yesterday. I would have been worried but had talked to my husband twice yesterday. It hits close often. He sent me a painting he had done of us. The man that did it was killed by a roadside bomb. It is very sad the way the people have to live in fear. I feel so thankful for what we have here.

Terri, I am really enjoying my treadmill. I agree that if you don't have the terminator that is a great dvd. Power Circuits is good as well. I will probably do a workout Christmas morning as well. My family usually opens presents at their homes and come over a little later. Of course I will be cooking as well.
