Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Tuesday Nov 1

Morning Everyone,

This morning I did Power 90 Masters Plyo Legs & YBB Hip Hop Abs. This made for one tough little workout and it was really fun. I can handle Tony, I just don't like when he pushes the supplements and recovery drink.

I've got a horrible migraine for 2 days now. I think I may have to take someting for it in a bit here. I can't take it any more.

Well, I don't want to get too excited about this, as my husband doesn't want me to take a job with crappy hours or Saturday hours and I have no idea what this one is....but I got a call last night from a Dentist. I applied for a position as Secretary/Receptionist for his office and he left me a message saying he reviewed my resume and I'm more than qualified and he'd like to interview me on Wednesday. I'm supposed to call him today at 12:30 pm. Wouldn't it be great if I could just move into another job and not need to collect unemployment for months? I hope it's something good. Looks like my house might end up neglected after all.

Nicole-blame it on the candy! It is the candy's fault!!! lol

My boys had a blast last night even though it was sprinkling the whole time. They managed to get more candy than they need. Now what to do with the ones they don't like?! :p I have a large bowl of candy left over that didn't get passed out either.

Not sure what workout I am going to get in today. I think it depends if I can stop coughing long enough. I would love to try the November rotation and see if I can stick with it. Are you ladies going to so the November rotation?

I better get the boys off to school. I will check in again later.

I am bringing bringing this forward from my earlier post. Thought I would make it easier so you did'nt have to go back to yesterdays post.

WELL my throat does feel better today, but I was still up with my DD ALL night Poor little thing!! Still high fever congestion etc.......I feel a little achey so I am going to lay around with her today and watch cartoons haha.

Sabrina I take Natures Made 500mg chewabale vit. C. I really think loading up extra really helped me yesterday.


Dallas my DH was hunting and his foot went in a ground hog hole and he fell HARD on his wrist. Gosh what a man will do to get out of carving pumpkins.

Lora that sounds good!!! I will have to look at the rotation Cathe posted.. Sounds like we have some good workouts a head of us!! (I LOVE Cathe's fat loss rotations )

Susan I think you should come and get us ALL organized haha. I like your line of thought. I really have been simplfying and it is NICE!!

Sabrina I know what you mean about the candy ha ha. My kids got a TON!!! YAY :7 My 3 older ones had such a GOOD time. :)
 
Well I am glad you all survived Halloween with no coma! Times like this I am glad my son is grown. At christmas time I wish he were a youngster again. I want him to be excited about Santa! :) Last year I went and had my pic taken with santa to bring back the fun that he doesn't want to do :)

I hope everyone gets over there colds and sore throats soon. I feel like I may have one myself coming on. I am going to go get that vit c nicole talked about. I think it was nicole:)

Ok I am still up in the air on the rotation I will do this month. If I go cathes November I will have to add more to it. Course last month I did cathes and added more cardio etc. So I guess this month I could add more weights. Well I have not much time to do figure it out :)

I want to thank you all again for listening to my venting yesterday. Marietta-I know we are suppose to honor our parents but how can I honor my mother when she out of spite broke my confidence? I guess I can honor her but I can't trust her. She also is one of those people who is never wrong so that makes it even harder.

Ok I have some work stuff to do then I must pick a rotation. I am open for suggestions :)

Good Morning,

OK, I've decided NOT to do the rotation Cathe posted for this month. I looked it over more closely this morning.

I did though start off with KickMax, since I've done KPC a few times last month. I'm still pretty good at it...if I do say so myself. I can to the jacks, just not tuck jumps and zig zags. My sequential kicks are a bit lower.

Lora, Good luck on your interview at the dentist today! You might be in a more relaxed and social atmosphere than you were in before. The hours are predicable as well. Oh, and the benefits.....:)

Sabrina, I like your reasoning, blame it on the candy! I've been enjoying it a bit too much. This is the time when I'm NOT to have any also. I go for my glucose test next week. At this rate, I might fail.

Good morning!!

This morning I did a somewhat extended version of Low Max. I ran out of time so I did the blast only portions or intervals 5-7, but I did do the weight work. I intended to wake up earlier, but I must have been tired because I slept right through the alarm. I still managed to get in a pretty good workout. As for the November rotation, I'll probably do it but I'll modify it quite a bit. Just gonna have to take this rotation one day at a time.

Lora - Good luck on your interview! Denist offices usually have great hours so hopefully that won't be an issue for you...

Dallas - How do you plan to modify the rotation? Will you do a bodypart or two per day or something like that?

Sabrina - Go for the Nov Rotation...we'll help keep you on track!

Nicole - Glad you feel a little better...but I'm sure a day of laying around will do you some good. Sorry about your DH wrist...sounds painful. Guess he won't be of much help with anything...

Terri - I know that under the circumstances you will find it hard to honor your mother. Honoring her doesn't mean liking or agreeing with everything that she does...it means loving her because she is your mother. Now that you see how she is being, don't put yourself in the position to be hurt by her again unless and until you regain your trust in her. Be there for her and make sure that her needs are being met. Just like Lora said yesterday, older people can be very stubborn and difficult. We just have to love them anyway...

I'm supposed to be going to lunch with a friend today so I won't be working out at lunch....but I do have a step class to teach this evening.

Marietta-Thanks that is very good advice. It makes sense to me and is something I can live with. I will not put myself in that position again and for right now we aren't speaking. I have been asked by my brother or should I ay TOLD that I am not allowed to call the house.

Good Morning Everyone!

I posted late (well late for me) last night. I don't know if you all saw it. I sure hope you all are feeling better today. Have you ever tried Airborne? I swear by that stuff.

Today I did a 4 mile run on the treadmill, then tough core, and I still have GS - triceps to do. I got up early enough, but I started cleaning. I'm not sure which rotation that I'll start. Hmmm, so many good choices.

Terri ~ I could tell you stories about my family that you probably wouldn't believe!;-) Hope you can all come back together before the holidays.

Susan ~ How do you like KM? It's really grown on me especially after doing the rotation I'm just about to finish.

Nicole ~ Cartoons sound so nice with a big fleece balnket. My ds2 wants me to come watch the Heffalump movie again. Unfortunately, this house needs A LOT of attention after 4 days of not doing too much. :-( *****sigh*****

I think I ticked my FIL off last night. He left in a huff. Then my dh says, "Well, why did you say that?":eek: x( !!!!! I'm not a confrontational person, but I'll blame it on the candy! LOL! Let me just say grandchildren, grandparents, and parents sometimes shouldn't be together. Do they know the word, "NO!" Sorry I had to get this off my chest!

Sorry Marietta, I didn't see your post. I had to step away from the computer during my first post. Yes, I was thinking of adding one body part per day. I really like the Gym Styles, but I probably need to shake it up a little. Maybe I'll do S&H with it? I just don't want to lose what I've accomplished. I'm starting to see muscles I never knew I had! LOL!

Wow Terri that's terrible that your brother won't allow you to contact your mother...Like Dallas said, I hope you guys can come back together for the holidays.

Dallas - You are a nut!! You got me crackin up here!! I know all about the inlaws...had a few words with my MIL on Sunday. They act like my kids can't be told no...I refuse to raise brats and will tell them NO when necessary.

Nicole - Okay I'll try to let you know what changes I'll make to the rotation. When are you starting? I kinda started today...that's why I did the Extended Low Max. I'm thinking I'll do 30 minute interval run in the morning and then do Back (probably CTX with some add-ons). Most likely I'll do steady state run a lunch tomorrow.

Hi Ladies -

I just got back from getting my haircut and before my haircut, I got started on a couple more hours of pitching stuff. I did 2 very small areas in the my upstairs and started on my videos in the basement. Next are all of the videos upstairs. I pitched about 15 so far.

I've been eating too much candy lately too. In my fit of depression last week, I ordered these berry fruit pates from Oregon Berries.com. Someone sent me a gifted box of them and they were so good. When I thanked her, she told me there was a website and my Serontonin/Dopamine deprived brain made me order not only the berry pates, but a yummy box of assorted chocolates. Needless to say, I've been enjoying them a bit too much.

I'm debating on a 2nd workout today. My hair looks so nice and I have to call the dentist at 12:30 pm to set up my interview tomorrow. I didn't want to wash my hair again in the morning. I wish I could just go for the interview today with my hair looking all spiffy. I can't straighten it like my stylist does when she dries it.

Terry - I know how hard it is with the family in turmoil. To this day, I can't have my Mom mad at me. I always have to call and "suck up" even if I wasn't wrong. My Dad's been dead since 1977 and my Mom and I have become very close. She doesn't really talk to my other 2 sisters.....cuz they never call her. I'm the only one that has a decent relationship with my Mom and I want it that way because I never had a chance to have an adult relationship with my father. Hang in there.

Dallas, I agree, sometimes the combination of parents, kids and grandparents *could* be a bad mix. My parents usually wait until I'm away before they stuff my kid with chemicals, I mean junk food.
This month Cathe put together more circuit workouts than weight lifting. If you want, follow the rotation, just after each workout add one body part to do extra hard, like SH. It will add on about 15-25 minutes.

Marietta, enjoy your lunch with your friend. I love going out with friends. It's been a bit less though this last couple of months. I'm looking forward to the holidays.

Nicole, I'm glad you had a great Halloween. My ds did go trick or treating after all. He changed his mind after seeing a few kids ring our doorbell. My next big cleaning day will be Friday. I go see the baby in the morning, and then I'm off to work. My family is coming for the weekend and I'm going out to dinner Friday night. I'll do any last minute Birthday party "stuff" then too.

Well, I put together my monthly rotation. I'll tell ya, I analyze wayyyy too much. I look at w/o length, exercises done and rotating muscle groups, etc ..... I drive myself nuts! I have to type it up and I'll post it in a bit (during my lunch break).

Ok So what I did was Jillians workout front and then imax2. I now have a plan for a rotation. I have to go do some things so will tell you after awhile. By the way if you add Jillians workout to an imax it makes for a 90 minutes workout. So doing just Jillian isnnt fun or intense but she makes for a nivce pre-workout to imax2!

Here is my November rotation. This actually goes from a Wednesday to Tuesday week, but I list it according to the calendar week. I also scheduled my rest days according to the days I will not be able to workout due to personal plans.

Susan - Just curious as to what your goals are for that rotation?

I just finished Billy's Bootcamp Cardio Live 30 min and PM Stretch with Madeline Lewis. I mostly did this 25 stretch routine cuz you stretch your feet out really good and massage them and my arthritic feet have been killing me.

Well ....I talked to the dentist and he thinks I'm over qualified and doesn't want to interview me. He said he has a very small practice and can't pay me what I'm worth. So much for that job. I don't know why he called me in the first place.

My husband had a fit when he saw the garbage bag of stuff I'm pitching. He doesn't think I should throw my workouts out, but I have sooo many. He also had a fit cuz I was working out when he came home from work. He asked me why I'm working out twice a day. What's his problem?
