Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Tuesday 8-16

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did the first 5 intervals of Imax 1 followed by 25 minutes on the bike and then a cooldown and stretch from Imax 1. I modified the jumps from Imax on the rebounder for my foot. Tomorrow's schedule is Circuit Max and CTX Upper body. I've only done Circuit Max once and have never done CTS Upper Body before. I remember Circuit Max having a lot of impact in it, so I'll be modifying again.

Good Morning...Good Morning!!

This morning I did IMAX 3 followed by 200 walking lunges. I have class tonight and I'll do my ab-work at that time. I probably won't do 200 sit-ups, but I'll get in a good one for sure. (FYI...I'm doing week 4 of the August rotation - wasn't feeling week 3 right now).

I'm not planning on working out during lunch, but who know...

Hi Lora and Marietta!

I only did one round of the crunches yesterday so I will add the second half in today. Or I am thinking after looking at Toasty(charlottes) breakdown of how she did a 1000 I may try that! After I do mic since I dont have circuit max or ctx. So instead of ctx I will do upper body from bodymax or should I do PUB?

Dallas, what will you be using today. I know you are missing these workouts as well.

Susan-I posted yesterday that I leave on the 25th but wasn't sure if you saw that. I am SOOO ready to go!

Hi Everyone!

Another morning I couldn't get up to work out! I guess I'm enjoying these last few days of sleeping later. Next week will be interesting with school starting. I promised the kids this week would be "fun" week, so we're probably going to the pool. I'll have to work out after my DD karate class. She gets tested for her yellow belt. Wish us luck!

I'm feeling some DOMS today. I'm wondering if that's from sneaky L&G or yesterday's work out. It could be a combo, I guess. During those front lunges, I was really getting a burn yesterday.

I still have to figure out a substitution, but I'll come up with something. I can't wait to concentrate on upper body.

Marietta ~ I just saw your e-mail. Thanks, you're too kind. Thanks for LL work out too. Susan sent it too. Thank you Susan!:)

Nicole ~ What time did you work out yesterday? That was a late one, huh? Good for you for getting it in!

Terri ~ How did the fiesta go for you yesterday? Did you ever get to try out your new DVD?

Terri ~ We posted at the same time. I'm leaning toward PUB for upper body. I just have to figure out my substitution for CM. Nicole, made some suggestions, but I don't have those yet.

Good Morning,

This morning was Circuit Max and CTX Upper body. With no breaks, other than changing DVD's, this took about 110-115 minutes.

Dallas, I think C&W can be a decent substitute for CM. It's cardio with compound exercises. CTX Upper body could be substituted for PUB or even PS series (but I don't think you have that).

Terri, I did see your post yesterday. Not long before vacation time!

Marietta, do you workout three times a day sometimes? It seems you workout in the morning, during lunch break, and teach a class at night. Wow!!
No, I have not done the Lower Body Solution workout. I like to follow along with videos. My question is, with LBS or Freestyle; it lists 4 sets at 15 reps. plus, it's recommended to use lighter weights. So, what would that weight be? 30 pounds for barbell squats?

Lora, the cardio in CM can be easily modified; luckily there are not too many jumps in that one. CTX Upper body is about 50 minutes long. Around ten minutes are spent on each body part.

Nicole, I'm glad you got the fiesta workout in. How long did it take you? I don't know how to attach a picture to a PM, so, I'll PM asking you for your email address and I'll send you my goofy picture. Hahaha

Hello Everyone,
Today I will do CM and CTX upper}( Gosh I have NOT done CM in over a year. I can't say I really remember it that well. I do know there is a step involved with lunges ha ha.

Gosh Terri that's a long time for a book order :eek: My orders at borders are usually less than a week??? Hope you get it soon. Today I have to go to grocery store;( That is a TRUE workout!!! I still need to get a few some school supplies, but to be honest I am not to worried about it ha ha. I am going to get some of my cookbooks out. I am tired of same old same old.

Sabrina boy you get home from vacation and school starts already for you this week.. You should be able to really get things done. Good Luck!!


Dallas I started my workout last night at 8:30pm and I think I got it done with about 9:40pm. I am a true owl, but I am hoping when school starts that I can move my workouts to am. consistantly.Btw you sound like me. Looking at this as our last week to sleep in ha ha.

Hey Susan looks like we posted at the same time:D One GOOD thing about working out later in the day is you give me the times which I have told you before is really nice to know....... I guessed 2 hours which is very close. Boy I can't believe I have been putting so much time into my workouts? When I go back to reg. it will be a breeze ha ha...
 
WOW Susan -Thanks for telling the time on ctx upperbody! I thought it was like maybe 30 so I now know for sure I will do pub...THANKS :) I just finished mic and I better get back in there and get going on pub!

Hey guys!! I'm back...

Lora - CTX upper body is supposed to be good. I've never done that one before, but I just got my CTX last week.

Terri - How did you do with those sit-ups? I don't think I'll ever attempt anything close to 1,000...I don't even think I'd do 400. I just don't think that that is necessary for me personally...my attention span just cannot handle it! More power to you though...

Dallas - Enjoy your rest...next week will be here before you know it! What did you think of my little comments on the workout I sent you?? Have fun at the pool!!

Susan - There are days when I may actually do 3 workouts in a day, but generally if I have class in the evening...I generally do a short run during lunch because it helps me make it through the rest of the day. My classes are not intense right now because I have lot beginner/intermediate students. I don't want to scare them away...so I don't have to work too hard. I'm crazy though...I love to workout!!

Nicole - What is CM similar too? I don't have that w/o. Had a late one last night...huh? You know what they say, better late than never.
