Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Thursday Oct 6

Morning Everyone,

I did Step Blast premix 45 min. this AM with Coremax Premix Complete Core. I wanted to do the entire DVD, but I forced myself to shorten my aerobics, as I'm trying to vary my times. I didn't realize there was so much impact at the end of that DVD and I didn't have my rebounder out. I did some plyos and small jumps on my foot (a no no).

I'm so upset about something that happened at work yesterday. I hate to complain here, but it's really bothering me. I won't bore you with the details, but basically the Educators in my department hate me and have tried to get me fired in the past (they'd still love to see me out of there and always give me a hard time). I tried to take a Personal Day off on Monday for my B-Day and the one Educator in charge (my boss is out of town) went off on me about it and scolded the crap out of me for 10 minutes about different things, as there is a last minute job that needs done on Mon. & Tues. I even had part of it worked out so it would all work out, but she was a total Witch. Anyway, I'm not going to take a personal day. I'm so mad because I was just going to call off sick Mon & Tues, but I couldn't do it in good faith. You live and you learn. I will be taking a couple sick days in Nov (mental health) before the hospital takes some of my time away from me (which is in the works). Thanks for listening.

Also, does anyone have ideas on how to politely get out of eating your own birthday cake?

Today's workout calls for HSC w/u, cardio and leg resistance cycles only, MM shoulders and SM #2. I'll see if I have to add on any cardio. Thanks Marietta for the cardio suggestions.

Lora ~ Happy early b-day. I won't get on the computer this weekend. Hmm, how to get out of eating cake? Who's getting it for you? If it were my dh, he'd understand. However, it is your b-day why not indulge? :) Hope you have a great day! Sorry your work is being so unkind.

Hi again - Will everyone please reiterate the ways to keep your body from getting used to the aerobics your doing. For example varying intensity, length, etc. I want to make sure I'm doing everything possible.
 
Good morning!

This morning I did KPC...just did the premix of the cardio. Didn't have much time. I went to bed later than ususal and had a hard time waking up. At least I got in something to wake me up. I guess I'll have to put off PS until tomorrow and Saturday which will actually work out better anyway.

Lora - ways to vary aerobics:
-intervals
-cross training
-high intensity
-low intensity
-various activities
-hi/lo aerobics
-steady state cardio

That's all I can think of right now. Hope this helps

Sorry about the crap they are giving you at work...hang in there. When people do you wrong, it will eventually come back to haunt them.

Dallas - How are you liking the rotation. I found that I needed to add-on with the weights during the first week as well...I did the MM portions back-to-back. It's a pretty good one though...I will do it again at some point in the future.

Hi there!

I don't really have much time right now (if at all today). I had a doctor's apt. this morning. Most everything looks good. There is a very strong chance I have or will even have cervical cancer. I'm not scared just yet. More biopsies will be taken after the baby is born.

I'm up to 104 pounds!! I'm gaining weight each month this time around. With my son, I got up to 111 pounds the day he was born.
I'm around 22 weeks now. The baby is breach, just like Justin was, so I'll probably have another c-section.

Today I did CTX 10-10-10 with triceps followed by PS Chest, Shoulders and Triceps.

Nicole, next weeks workouts average 70-75 minutes each.

Lora, that really stinks what's going on at work. I complain how much I can't stand my job. But, I get a decent salary to sit practically alone all day. I think you would really benefit from doing 2-3 HIIT w/o's a week.

Susan - Glad most everything looks good. Stay positive...if there is cancer...you know that the earlier you find it the better and since your radar is already activated then we know you'll be on top of this thing!!

My first was breech and I had to do the C-section thing. Not fun...extra 2 weeks of recovery...but what can you do?

I admire the heck out of your strength and confidence...

Good workout today...by the way.

Hello Ladies,

Yesterday I was so busy I never made it back to check-in. Lora, I read about your experience with deposition and mine was long as well....about 4 hours with 2 breaks. One was because I got emotional so I asked my lawyer for a break. It went well though and next week we have mediation and we are confident we can settle there. Finally!

When I got home I workedout and was physically and mentally exhausted. I had also ran errands and helped a friend out after deposition so it was a long day.

Susan-I am so sorry you have the added stress when this is/should be such a happy time. I agree with Marietta and try not to worry too much. Easier said then done I know!
Lora-That is a shame you won't get Monday off. If you don't want to eat cake tell them you have an upset stomache! That's always my excuse:)

Hey Everyone,
Today I did S&H Chest and Back, and I did all the planks without a problem:D This was my last day of S&H YAY!!! I tell ya I have been eating like a HORSE!!! I mean really I have!!! Is it because I was lifting heavier and harder??? I am thinking I may have to do a cardio rotation????? Is there even one out there??

Dallas I thank God Colby did not break his elbow, but it was just like I thought *lots of blood in is joint* which is painful for him. It was a stressful day so last night I did the lower cardio blast of low step and then a stretch from total stretch. I felt so much better after that.

Terri sounds good. I will do whatever you decide :7 I am going to work on my house today!! It really needs it!!

Lora I am *thinking* about decreasing the intensity for a few weeks?? This makes my body happy. Then I come back to Cathe, and boy it really makes a difference for me???? But I tell ya I really am not in the mood yet to do anybody else other than Cathe???

Marietta have you had a chance at all to do PS series??? The leg workout is killer }( I think you are really going to like that one!!

Diane Sue any luck??? I am not giving up that you won't find it;-)

Susan you will be in my prayers, but *IF* you do have Cervical cancer the cure rate in really high!! So listen to everyone here and don't worry about it :D Let us do that for you!!!:7 OK;)

Sabrina I am sending you a big ((HUG)) and hoping this has been a WONDERFUL day for you!! Hey I even have a joke for you!! My DD12 came home and told me!! I have a really good joke to tell you!! Papa Bear and Mama Bear are getting a divorce and the Judge asked baby bear who do you want to live with??? how about your Papa??? baby bear said "no he beats me" then he said how about living with your mama and baby bear said "no she beats me to" and the judge said then who do you want to live with??? and baby bear replies "the chicago bears because they don't beat anyone ha ha. :7 My dad is a Die hard bears fan. So she can't wait to tell him this joke.

Nicole - I've been *thinking* about doing a recovery week, but I already started this rotation. I just had the 5 day break when I was on vacation at the end of August, so I think I'm going to start taking my rest days on Saturdays (but not this Saturday), and then I will do a recovery week at the end of this current rotation. I'm hoping my body will respond differently to his rotation, as I haven't been doing the heavier weight lifting with the last couple rotations. They were more circuit based and I'm really sore in my Chest and Tri's after yesterday's gym style.

Sabrina - I hear ya with the food thing. I lifted as heavy as I can this week and have been starving and PMS isn't until next week. LOL.

Susan - Sorry to hear your health news. I will keep you in my prayers. A C-section ....yuk. I know nothing about childbirth, but I don't think I'd like going thru it.

Marietta - Thanks for the link. I've printed it. I'll try to sneak and read it later. Addendum - okay I just read it - shows what my priorities are. My question: Do they mean only do HIIT for your aerobic? They can't possible mean that. They mean in addition to your regular cardio right?
 
Hey Nicole...the plan is for me to PS legs tomorrow and PS Back and Biceps on Saturday. Of course I'll stick some cardio in there as well...perhaps HC Extreme or something like that and then a run on Saturday.

I'm off work until Tuesday. I'll try to check in but I won't make any promises.

Oops. I meant to Type that above note to Susan. I'm sorry. Susan ...is that HIIT in addition to your regular aerobic sessions, correct?
 
I'm late as usual. Still planting and working on the yard. Todays workout was MIC, PSLA legs, Bowflex 3 sets each calves, and cable kickbacks, PSLA St.

Lora, in answer to your question about my diamond, it fell out of my wedding ring. It was the larger one in the center. Apparently a prong got caught on something and bent. I have been searching for it as the only time over the weekend I left the house was to go to church, where my daughter noticed it. Sorry about how you are treated at work.

Nicole thanks for asking still no luck on the diamond. That was a cute joke.
