Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Thursday Oct 27

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Kick, Punch & Crunch modifying some of the jumping and higher impact on the rebounder. I don't know if I modified enough, as my foot is hurting and a bit swollen.

I have to go to the grocery store and Walmart today so I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit a 2nd workout in, but I'm sure going to try.

Nicole - I saw your post on the Slim Series thread. Now I'm going to have to refigure my non-Cathe rotation week. I'm also second guessing my recovery week I was planning on taking now. That was a really motivating thread. Thanks for sharing that. (The only down side....mine are on tapes, not DVDs so it's hard to do partial workouts and those 90 minute ones do get boring.)

Susan - I hope you're starting to feel better.

Good Morning Ladies!

So happy over here!!! The White Sox won!!!:7 :7 :7 I stayed up so I did not get my workout in this AM. I think I may do a light workout today. Run on the treadmill, GS-back and CM#3. I have a lot to do this morning so I'll have to workout this afternoon - once I wake up! LOL! My coffee isn't cutting it today. I may just have to run to Starbucks! That stuff will make your hair curl! ha ha! Oh yeah, I already have curly hair!:7

Nicole or Lora ~ Could you guys do a small rating or ranking of non Cathe videos that you would recommend to complement Cathe's work outs? Or do you two take a break from Cathe and do your others?

Sabrina ~ That is good news! The last time I got my body fat checked it was 17%. I guess that's kind of high. That was 4 years ago. I would love to know where I'm at now.

Susan ~ How are you feeling?

Diane Sue ~ Hope you're enjoying your visit with your dad.

Good morning!!

Whew! I've been pretty sick the last few days and so I have not worked out since Monday. I might try to do a little something at lunch...but I'll just have to wait and see.

Monday evening my stomach began to cramp and feel horrible. I think it was something that I ate. Anyway, I didn't start feeling better until yesterday afternoon. Today, I felt good enough to attempt to come to work. We'll see how that goes...

Dallas - Congratulations on the White Sox victory!! You should be happy...party on!!

I'll have to check the threads from the last few days to catch up on things...I'll be back

Today I am doing NADA:7 ha ha NO actually it is my rest day:7 I am doing this rotation http://69.0.137.118/dc/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=7&topic_id=3794&mesg_id=3794&page= I have to tell you I am so happy to be doing the GS again. I LOVE the doms I am feeling this week:D

Dallas I have a variety of dvds, but Cathe is my main staple. Sometimes I like to do a Firm week (I like the newer Firms) I have the Slim Series that I do a dvd from time to time, but have never done a rotation per say, but after reading that thread I posted yesterday I am going to do one when I get done with my current rotation:D My runner friend has the Slim Series and she just does Tear it up (parts of it) and she looks so lean and has good definition in her arms Slim series is lots of reps and low weight. Tear it is GREAT workout it is like almost a hour and a half??? Lora can add more to this............ Oh and CONGRATS on your Sox!!

Lora I have 3 more weeks of this current rotation, and then I am going to do Slim series. How about we do that rotation together?? Did you know that they have some of the Slim Series on dvd at target??
They have 2 workouts on 1 dvd!! I think it is tone it up and Shape it up??

Terri are'nt those premixes WONDERFUL!! I never really started to use them until this year.

Hi everyone,

I ended up leaving work early yesterday. The chills were getting to me. Plus this congestion, especially in my left ear is awful. I can't hear a thing out of it! Of course I get home and just can't relax. I cleaned my son's room, got all the laundry done and put away and bills paid and mailed, and picked a few things up at the grocery store.

This morning I did GS Chest. I raised my weights than what I had been using. It felt great. I love working chest! I then started to do Step Intervals and part way through it the DVD was stalling. I must have scratched it. x( SO, I scrapped it and did Body Max. Oh my! Tough, tough. I did all step, power circuits and chest. I felt great. It was harder than usual though. I used only one riser also, and my power lunges were more like scissors today. But I did it!:)

I had my Drs. apt this morning. I'm up to 105lbs. Its now colder out, so I had layers of clothes on and my boots. Everything looks really good.

Sabrina, that's interesting about the body testing you had done. I was wondering, what workouts you do each day. I don't recall you really mentioning. Do you follow any type of rotation? I'm just curious.

Lora, easy does it on the foot.

Dallas-I don't think 17% is bad at all. I like the coffee comment! lol! Sometimes I wish I drank coffee. ;-)

Susan-I hope you get tot feeling better soon! Up to 105!! Girl you sure don't weigh much especially since you are pregnant and are as far along as you are! That is what I weight now! I don't have a rotation that I do. I usually do what I feel like doing and some times I don't get to workout. I would like to get into a schedule and be able to follow it but that just isn't happening right now.

Marietta-glad to see you are back and feeling better.
