Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Imax 3 and modifying just a little bit of it on the rebounder. My piriformis muscle is still bothering me. Again, the weather is cold and rainy, so I don't know if it's my old hip injury or what.

Have great workouts everyone. I'll try to check in later, but I doubt I'll be able to with how busy I'll be.

Hi guys,

So far, no workout today. I had difficulty sleeping due to the posterior pelvic pain. I think I said to you guys, that the baby is breach, but it's actually transverse lie ~ he's completely sideways.
It's so painful and uncomfortable I can hardly stand it.
I'll have to check back later, since I got into work late (I move so slow now).

Good Morning Everyone!

Yippee! I didn't have to go downtown!!!:7 It looks like it's going to be a nice day here, so all the better. I had to make brownies for my dd. She's Student of the Week for her class. I did get RS in first though. I still have to GSL floor and GS Back. My upper body is sore from GS Chest though, so I may hold off and do back with shoulders tomorrow. I'll see how I feel after GSL floor.

Sabrina ~ I'm glad you found the dress. You'll have to post pictures of your night out!

Lora ~ Have a good day today especially because your boss is back. Smile! Do you think Imax is harder than Imax 3? There was a thread about this. I've only done Imax twice. Maybe I need to revisit it!

Marietta ~ You know I've never tried that workout. I'll have to print it out and check it out sometime. Wow, you burned some major calories yesterday! I plan on running tomorrow. I want to get back to 2-3 runs per week, but I've been having so much fun with my DVDs! :)

Hi Nicole, Terri, Susan, and Diane Sue!

Have great workouts everyone!

OK, I'm off to finish my workout.

Dallas

ETA: Susan, we posted at the same time again. That's why that little baby was so active last week. S/he was changing positions. ;-) I couldn't even imagine - that never happened to me.

Also, my sister said the baby still has the breathing tube. She thought it would have been removed by now. His carbon dioxide levels are low and his throat is swollen. I'm growing concerned again.

Good morning!

A quick update on the job my son is hoping to get. He had a second interview yesterday and then the woman who would be his supervisor asked him to come back in today to meet with the rest of the team he would be working with if he was hired. I am taking this as a very good sign! Also I wanted to tell you all that his gf Ashley starts radiation the last week in january for 5 weeks. I think I may have made it sound like she was already doing it. Please continue to pray for both of them :)

Susan-So any chance they will do the c-section sooner then the 30th? I too had a c-section due to my son being stubbirn and turning. I hope you feel better and the month flys by!

Lora-Those shoes you got are so adorable! Ilove the colors and I am thinking of ordering them They will go well with my pink Jollie weights:) Are they true to size?

Dallas-Good for your DD being student of the week, I personally like imax1 better then imax3. Imax3 bothers my knees so much that I have to modify it a lot. Imax1 kicks my butt!

Marietta-I think the employee situation will be resolved. My lawyer got a resonce back from hers stating they would withdrawl the fraudulent claim. Of course he didn't say fraudulent but that is what it is. Thaks for all your prayers :)

Ok yesterday was MM and a 20 minute run on the rotation. I didn't want to do MM so after I did shape it up in the am I later did the viper. Today I am doing mix it up and a run. Like Dallas I want to get at least 3 runs in a week again for this month, I will shoot for 90 minutes the dyas I do them to stay in tune with cathes 90 minute workouts.

Hello to all that follow.

Terri

Good Morning!!

This morning I did the High Step Challenge...later I'll go for a run and then get in some chest work.

Lora - Try to have a good day...a bright side to your boss being back is that you will be so busy the time will fly by.

Susan - Sorry you are so uncomfortable...should I read anything into your "HE" comment in your post? Is it a boy? Anyway...take it easy.

Dallas - You didn't know how old I am? I did burn some major calories yesterday. You really need to do that Cathe Treadmill workout. I used to dread the 7.5 and 8.0 mph sections....but once I changed my attitude and went for it...it felt great! You'll get around 6 miles or so if you do it exactly as written.

Hope your nephew gets better...poor baby. Hang in there. I'll continue to pray for you guys.

Hey Nicole, Terri, Sabrina, and Diane Sue!! I'll be back later...

Oh Marietta, I was talking about your leg workout from the May rotation. I've done the Cathe advanced treadmill workout, but I must have written down your version because I come in at 5.5 miles. Hey, maybe tomorrow. I was planning on running anyway. Wish me luck! ;-)

Ok, I really need to get downstairs. I've been reading some threads. :)

Dallas

Oh...I gotcha...I practically know it by heart.

Leg Extensions - 3 sets @25 reps (Sometimes I do less with more weight)
Squats 5 sets
One Leg squats w/back leg elevated - 3 sets
Plie Squats - 3 sets (I like to superset these with lying leg curls)
Lying Leg Curls*- 3 sets
Walking Lunges - 200
Calf Raises - 2 sets @64/set

*Optional

On the Cathe...I think I dropped the speed, it's the original:

3.4 - 4 min.
3.8 - 4 min.
4.4 - 4 min. (cut went to 5.5)
5.5 - 4 min. (went to 6.0)
6.5 - 5 min.
7.5 - 10 min.
8.0 - 5 min. (OPTIONAL!)
Slow down over 1 min. to 3.8
Raise incline to level 14 and walk uphill for 10 min. (only walked for 5 minutes)
Lower to level 9 and increase speed to 4.8 for 5 min.
Lower to ground level over 1 min.
Then do:
4 interval cycles of 8.0 for 1 min. and 6.0 for 30 seconds.
Finish with:
6.0 - 2 min.
3.8 - 3 min.
3.4 - 3 min.
3.0 - 4 min.

Oh..I know what I did. I cut the 4.4 and started running sooner (see my changes above) then at the end I stopped with the 6.0 run and didn't do the walking. Does that make sense?

I know...TMI...sorry bout that.

Lora you will have to keep me updated on your shoes. I would love to get a pair, but will wait because I just got a pair of ryka's not to long ago.

Ya Sabrina post pictures!! You will look great!!

Terri that does sound like your son has the job:D I will keep Ashely in my prayers. Please let me know when she starts her treatments.

Dallas what is your newphew's name? I will keep him and your sister in my prayer list.

Well gotta go, not sure if I FEEL like working out today??? I got up with my dh at 4 am to see him off to Detroit, and then never did back to sleep.

Good afternoon
I am still battling this cold or whatever virus it is. I actually slept more last night. I did Low Max, Core Max 1 and StrMax with the band yesterday. Today I had my Grandson here this morning and helped him with his homeschool lessons so have not finished. I did KPC premix circuit with the drills and the tall step leg presses, then CTX Power circuits cardio, followed by CTX Step & Intervals 10 min interval segment only. I am hoping to do GS calves and floorwork later today. I feel like my energy levels are not what they normally are. I usually get over these things quickly.

Lora are those new Saucony shoes made with a lot of toe room? I have a bunion on my left foot and it makes my foot numb if they are not roomy enough. I buy lots of Birkenstocks for comfort. Too bad they dont make a crosstraining shoe:) I am always looking for comfortable athletic shoes. Narrow heel and wide deep toe boxes.

Dallas, I will keep the baby in my prayers.

Susan, you sound miserable. Too bad the baby doesnt at least move to a more comfortable position for you.

Terri, it sounds like your son has a good chance for that job.

Marietta, that Leg workout was a good one. When I am really energetic I can get through those walking lunges with 15# dumbbells. That is a lot of walking lunges. I didn't have that treadmill workout of Cathe's so had to print it out. Thanks.

Nicole, we have had loads of illness going around. I have two grandchildren who have been home with stomach viruses and fevers. I will remember him in my prayers

Hi Sabrina

Have a great day everyone

Hi again,

Sorry for being such a complainer! I sound like I feel sorry for myself. Sitting has become more tolerable, so maybe I can bang out a few sets of biceps tonight. I'll have to check my rotation; it was biceps and something else. I just won't do cardio just yet.

Lora, do you have sciatica or a herniated disk? There are certain stretches that really target the piriformis muscle to help alleviate the pain.

Dallas, yay, for your dd for being student of the week. What at way to celebrate.... brownies! :9
So, you got out of jury duty? Nice! Let us know how your nephew makes out.

Marietta, yeah, you *probably* could read into the "HE". I went to the dr. Monday and when she scanned over the legs, she says, "look! there it is!" Now, we had already seen the head and spine. I said, "I don't want to know the sex (for the 100th time). So she quickly moved the scanner thing over. I asked if she knew what it is, she said "no" and pierced her lips. That's TWO slip ups. I go tomorrow for an actual Ultrasound to look at the weight/size/placement of the baby.

Terri, I love Viper. Glad you got to do it yesterday.

Nicole, yeah, your family has been hit with the "sick" bug this winter. I really hope your son gets better soon. I think you ought to make today a rest day for exercise.

Sabrina, post your picture! So, what event is the dress for? DId I miss something?

HI Diane Sue!

Afternoon ladies!

I will have to read everyone's posts later(I skimmed them).

I showed two condo's today!! The lady called my house and wanted to go see them. Surprised me! I have some info I have to find out for her so I won't be on here long. I just had to share with you though. The bad news is is that she is looking with another agent right now from another office at some other places. :(

I had to buy a dress for a formal next month for my work. They have one in February(the 18th this year) for all the maloof agents in all the offices. We go to the ballroom at the par-a-dice (riverboat-casino) that is in Peoria. It sound like a lot of fun. I just got an email saying that my dress has been shipped. I will get some pictures of me in it when I get the dress altered.

Terri-I hope you son gets the job and that Ashley does well with her treatments.

Dallas-I hope you nephew get better soon.

Nicole-I hope your son feels better soon too and that fever goes down.

Susan-How is that baby this afternoon? Are you feeling any better? Does it help to rub your belly?

Hi Lora, Marietta, Diane Sue!!

I have to go for now! I will be back later to read what everyone is up to!

HI Again!

I'm heading outside with my ds. I ended not doing back, but SM w/the band. My muscles have been tight this week.

Marietta ~ Thanks for re-posting the treadmill workout. I have it scribbled on an index card. I'll be sure to print it out. I'm doing this one again tomorrow.

Nicole ~ I'll keep your ds in my prayers. I hope he doesn't go through what he did last time. My nephew's name is Glenn. What's your son's name? Would opening your windows and airing the house out help? I've done that before, but not sure it really does anything. We had a year like yours. We were sick from October all the way until March. It was NON-STOP! :-( I really feel for you! ((((HUGS))))

Diane Sue ~ Sorry your still not 100%. You still got a good work out though!

Susan ~ It must be so hard sitting at work being in pain. Maybe you'll go early.

Sabrina ~ Congratulations on your showing! It's a start!:)

Terri ~ That's awesome that the claim will be dropped!

I sure hope it's as warm out as it looks!

Have a great afternoon!

Dallas

ETA: Susan, you're brilliant!! :D Furniture slides for the BBBB DVD. Plates & towels just won't work on the puzzle mat floor. I was going to use old tupperware lids! :7 I have those furniture slides, I can't wait to try it!

Hey Guys!

I'm check in before I get ready to leave for the day...I ran at lunch (about 4.5 miles) and I did some chest work. Think I'll take tomorrow off from running...my legs are tired.

Terri - I think your son is getting the job...that many interview..Oh Yeah!! I wish the best for Asley too. The claim...that's awesome!!

Dallas - Yeah...make sure you print it!! Do it too!!

Sabrina - I hope everything goes great on your showing...let us know.

Nicole - Poor thing...you can't escape can you??!!

Diane - Glad you're feeling somewhat better...

Susan - You are brilliant!! Hope you are feeling better...

Okay...think that's it for me.

Have a great night!!

Susan - I've never had my low back imaged, but most likely it is a bulging disc since I have so many up higher. It has flared up since a car accident I was in in 2000 where the car was struck right where I was sitting on my right side. What stretches do you do?

Diana Sue - I guess the Saucony's are roomy in the toe box.. I'm not sure. I know I have bunions also but the only time my feet go numb is on the elipitical and I never knew what it was from.

I'll talk to everyone tomorrow.

Lora,
I have had the numbness for a long time and new it was something like that. The Dr actually asked me if I had any numbness in that foot. He said roomy toed shoes that don't put pressure on the side of my foot would help. Something I had already discovered.
Those are cute shoes.
Thanks,
Diane Sue
