Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Monday October 17

Morning Everyone -

This morning I did Gym Style Back, Biceps & Shoulder premix plus I added a couple sets on some exercises. I also did P90 Sweat 3-4, part on the rebounder and part on the floor for 25 minutes.

Ugh...Monday and I really don't want to face everyone today at work. I feel so strange going to work and knowing I won't have a job at the end of the month. I don't even want to see my boss today. I hope she doesn't come in. I can't stomach her lies. She told me Friday that she had nothing to do with it. That's such crap, as she is the manager and ultimately she had to decide what person to cut. Anyway, I'll shut up now. I'm just venting.

Have great workouts everyone. Wish me luck getting thru these upcoming days.
 
Lora, Well, I certainly give you lots of credit for showing up today. I bet it is tough to face everyone.

Today I did CTX Power Circuits with back Plus PS Back and Biceps.

I'm at the office today, so I'll be around a lot. I'll check back to see what everyone else is up to.

I hope to get back into my power walking this evening. Of course it is calling for rain so I'll have to wait and see. Maybe I should do KPC since I feel like kicking someone. lol!

Good Morning!!

Guess I haven't been around since Friday...I had a good weekend. Not to hectic but busy nonetheless.

Saturday - Step/Strength Class and KPC
Sunday - 6.5 mile run
Monday - Interval Max (will probably run at lunch)

Lora - So terribly sorry to hear about your job. I know it has to be very difficult for you to be there and I understand completely the frustration you are feeling towards your boss. I will keep you in my prayers. Hold your head up...everything will work out for you.

Susan - What kind of rotation are you doing with the PS Series? I think I'll use them this week, starting tomorrow. Glad your pregnancy is progressing nicely. Take care...

Sabrina - Hope you don't get rained out. I did KPC on Saturday and am still feeling it in my back...nice!!

Today I did complete body sculpting. This afternoon I think I will pull out cm and maybe do some sort of wts???

Susan I remember reading WAY back on VF that someone did PS series 3 times weekly, and they got amazing results where she said she looked like Cathe, and lost 80lbs. She would do 2 tapes in Am. than would do PS legs, and do cardio at evening (6pm). I wish I had the gumption to *TRY* doing that just for a week. Now that would be a challenge:7

What a weird day yesterday turned out to be. I swear if it wasn't for bad luck my son would have no luck these days. Him and his gf came up to denver and we visited then they went to run errands and we were all going to meet back here. They were gone much longer then was planned. I was getting worried. For good reason as it turns out. My son hit his hand on a bin at a store and apparently the pain made him faint. He fell straight back onto the floor and hit his head. Paramedics were called and He went to ER. He has a contused bone in his left hand, a concussion, and a sprained neck. He will be ok the doc said. So my sunday afternoon was spent at the hospital. Not exactly the way the day was suppose to go! I am just glad he will be ok. My son was worried about the hand as he has his cd release party the 29th. The Doctor assured him he will be ready to play by then.

Marietta, I posted my October rotation on Oct. 1 in our check-in.

This is my week right now:
Week Three (17 through 23)
Mon: PS Back, Biceps plus Power Circuit (including Back)
Tues: PS Legs plus KM cardio conditioning Premix
Wed: PS Chest, Shoulders, Triceps plus CTX Step Intervals (including Chest)
Thus: KPC
Fri: IMAX 1 plus CTX Upper Body Split
Sat: L&G plus LL
Sun: off

I know weights should be done first, but my w/o room is now cold in the morning, so I start with cardio.

I'm alternating weeks using PS and GS series. Along with doing cardio from CTX. Right now I like PS more since there are hardly any exercises I need to substitute. In GS there are a lot of modifications such as push-ups, pull overs, laying on your stomach to work back....

Nicole, I should read more over at the VF site. WOw! 80 pounds someone lost. That's without a doubt with VERY good dieting.

Sabrina, I'm very lucky to have a room designated for working out. However, I also go to an office most weekdays, so unfortunately, I don't have a choice of getting up ultra early.

Hi Everyone -

Terri - sorry to hear about your son. I'm glad he's okay.

Well, I had to see my boss first thing this morning. She came in "special" to see how I was doing. Oh BOY!!! I wasn't very nice to her. She wants to come to my meeting tomorrow at HR and I told her I don't want her there.

Anyway, I'm all packed up. Now, I just have to get thru the next 2 weeks.

I found out I'm not going to get paid for my sick time or personal time I have left, so I'm going to see about taking my personal days before I leave.

Terri - Sorry to hear about your son. Bummer! Hope he gets all better!!

Lora - You have every right to be upset with you boss. Hope you get your personal days...

Susan - Sorry I'm lousy about remembering things. Your workouts this week look great. I might "borrow" some of your workouts. You know what? I've always done cardio first...Always. I know they say do strength first, but I've never been able to do that. I don't think it's hurt me any. Ultimately I think you should do what works best for YOU.

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm late checking in because we had to have a heating/air conditioning guy come and check out 3 out of 4 units. Mind you, we had the company we have a service agreement out just last week. It ticks me off because this isn't the first time we've had to call someone else in. I can't wait until this service agreement is up.

Lora ~ I give you credit for going into work today. That would have been hard. Marietta had great advice. You will get through this. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers too.

Terri ~ I am so sorry about your son.

Sabrina ~ Good for you for coming to Chicago. I know that you girls will have so much fun. I wish I could meet you too. There will be another time, I hope. Since the Sox won last night, dh asked if I wanted to give our "Wicked" tickets away and watch the game instead. I told them if we can go to Cellular field. ha ha! What do you guys think? It is our anniversary night out. However, who knows when the Sox will do this again.

Nicole ~ Go for it! Do you have a link to that rotation?

Marietta ~ Of course, you got some good work outs in over the weekend.

Susan ~ I always prefer to do cardio first. This way I know my muscles are good and warmed up. Is it better to do weights first?

Today I did Hardcore Extreme #3 for 40 minutes, GS- Biceps and CM #1. I tell you this rotation has been really working my legs. :D I still have to do the stretching. I ran out of time this morning.

Dallas-My whole family is going to Chicago with me and we are staying the night. Not sure what the boys are going to do yet. On Sunday we will head to La Crosse Wisconsin to stay the night because I have a Dr appointment with the Allergy Specialist there on Monday morning.
 
Sabrina ~ Where are you staying? You can PM me instead of posting it here. Depending on where you are staying maybe I can suggest a few thing for your dh and the boys to do. I know that there's an ESPN Zone downtown.

Hey guys...thought I'd drop in one more time for today.

I went for a run at lunch today. We did about 5.5 miles...this run had wicked hill, but I didn't have any problems. I think that's because of the IMAX workouts.

Dallas - I'm glad you are enjoying your rotation. Go the the game...like you said, you never know when or if it will ever happen again.

Susan from what I remember I don't think her diet was that GOOD??? I think she was famished?? I know I would.... doing all that wt training!!

Dallas are you trying to kill me:eek: I don't think I have the attention span to do that ha ha. Heck PSlegs kills me enough to do one time per week I can't imagine doing it 3 times ha ha. I don't have the link, but I do know I printed it up and it is here *SOMEWHERE*. I will look and see if I find the post?? If I do I will sent it to you. Those are the kind of posts I always remember :7

Nicole ~ Oops! That's what I get for reading/posting in such a hurry! Whoa, I didn't read your post correctly. So, you would do each of the weight segments three times per week, plus cardio? Cardio everyday? How long did this person to this sort of rotation? Oh my! :eek: S/he must have been working out all day long!

Can you believe that someone came to my door and asked if my mom was home? ha ha! I still had my work out clothes on and my hair up in a pony. Maybe that's why? Maybe it's because she was selling something. LOL!
