Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Monday Nov 7

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Slim Series Shape It Up.

Nicole - I need to get motivated to do these. That link yesterday at Yayas didn't work. I'm going to have to check VideoFitness again, but yesterday all I could find were reviews. I don't know if this series is going to satisfy my need for that good ol' heart thumpin' cardio. I may have to do that on one rest day. I can't really remember the series, but I hope the other tapes have some cardio in them. Do you remember which ones you need your bands for? Is it Mix it Up and Tear it Up?

I've got to call the vet about my baby as soon as they open this morning and try to get him in. I also have to talk to the hospital about my rate of pay and start date.

Lora you gotta do what you have your mind set to:) I feel thoughly worked out from Shape it up today!! I will send you a email today to get you going!! I tell ya i had to drop down to 3 lbs when I was half way through the shoulders:eek: I think that if these dvds are really GOING to shock my body and give it WONDERFUL muscle confusion!! I just plan on doing these for 2 weeks daily and than adding Cathes in when these!!

Dallas so SORRY you did'nt win, but I would buy them new before I would paid to much for them used on ebay!

Hello Ladies,

Today is a run and later HST and abs. I am so tired today mentally. It is getting harder to realize my parents are not going to live in the same house after 50 years of marriage. I just hope she will at least start speaking to him soon.

Nicole-How is the clean up after the tornado going? I saw on the news about the Tornado in Indiana is that the one you were in?

Lora-I hope your baby will be ok. Animals are a part of the family and we worry as much as if they were a child.

Hi everyone,

Today I did IMAX2 (even most of the plyo jacks), then did HSTA cardio and lower body, then did Total Body Stretching, basic stretch. This was a long one today; it was over an hour and a half.

My family left yesterday around noon, so I exercised after they left. I did PS Back and Biceps and GS Biceps (no time for cardio).

My DH left this morning for lovely Vermont! He'll be back on Thursday night.

Nicole, I have the list of exercises done for the Slim Series. It appears to move right along, so the workouts must go by fast.

I wonder if Cathe is filming now. My guess is she would want filming to be complete before Thanksgiving.

Dallas, sorry you didn't win your bid. You had asked if adding additional back exercises would be ok, or lead to overtraining. IMO I don't think so. With a lot of my own w/o's I do just that. Sun. for example, I did PS B&B then followed up with GS Biceps. Now, if you're lifting to your MAX then I'd suggest not adding more. Your max is when your muscles are "pumped" and your handwriting looks like a toddlers.

My boss has been out of the country for a while and is back in the office today....party's over. I'll try to check back later.

Terri, I'm so very sorry to hear about your parents. I just can't imagine. My parents have been married 40 years and I know I could never think of them being separated.

Lora, I really hope your cat gets better. Hopefully the vet will take you right in.
 
Susan yes Debbie goes from one thing to the next. It does go quickly IF YOU PLAY your own music:7 I have a couple workout music cds that I pulled out last night and it makes all the difference.

I would like to purchase another one!! Does anyone have recommendations!!

Terry thanks for asking!! We were'nt hit as badly as they were in Evanesville. Got our yard and neighbors around us all cleaned up. My dh got out his chain saw to remove the tree's that flew in our yard!!

Had a great weekend...it went by so fast!!!

Saturday - Ran 3.5 miles on treadmill and High Step Challenge
Sunday - Ran 7.5 miles on treadmill (ate pizza and birthday cake)
Today - Legs & Glutes (standing only), KCP Intermediate and High intensity drills. I'll go for a run at lunch.

Nicole - That is so scary about the tornado!! I'm glad that you and your family are fine and that your property is still intact.

Lora - Sorry about Kitty...keep us posted.

Dallas - What were you trying to win??

Terri - I sure hope your mom does talk to you. I'll bet the only reason she isn't right now is because of your brother. Hang in there...

Susan - You are workin it!! I was just thinking this morning how I can't wait for the new workouts and that she should probably be filming them right about now. We'll just have to be patient won't we??

Well - I'm back from the vet. He has an additional medication to take and he also had to take Kaopectate. If he doesn't get better this week, we'll need blood work. Poor baby.

I talked to HR and accepted the position, but I still don't know my start date, as the manager of the department needs to contact me. I went over the Job Description and it's totally different than anything I've ever done. Keeping track of people punching in, inventory control, giving schedules to the workers and keeping track of their sick and vacation time and other various secretarial duties. I hope I'll be able to learn. I'm not getting any younger, thus learning doesn't come any easier. The pay is only a small pay cut also.

Nicole - are you asking about music CD's? What kind of music do you like? Also, thanks for the emails.

Forgot to mention - I just rec'd a Collage Gift Certificate from my old boss and the Educators at the other campus. When I say "other", I don't mean the educators I worked for but we have a sister hospital in another city where my boss was based out of and her educators and her sent it. The message said "We miss you" and had their names signed. I think it's sort of odd to get this from the hospital I didn't even directly work for. I only had phone interaction with those educators. My boss knew I was an avid exerciser....she used to say I was "obsessed" with fitness. Strange.

I guess I will start with Saturday since I have been busy and dealing with a migraine.
Sat. KickMax Bootcamp no st.,KPC starting after the intermediate section,Pyramid upper shoulders, triceps and biceps,st. I ran out of time fot the whole thing.I was multi tasking hair color and weights so had to do standing stuff.
Sun. Timesaver#1 cardio and timesaver #2step, Pyramid chest back and abs,st.
Today was HSch w/u & cardio, Cardio kicks no w/u or st, Pyramid lower, Core Max #2&#3.

Lora I hope your kitty doesnt need the blood work.

Lora ~ I skimmed Sunday's thread just now. I live near Chicago, so I saw the concert at the United Center. You know what is so funny, when they started singing "You Give Love A Bad Name" I wanted to start stepping. LOL! I can't wait to do Imax 3 again now. That is just terrible about your nieces. That's great that they are close to you and that they have someone to talk to.

Nicole ~ Oh my! A tornado! Glad to hear everyone is OK. Hope the damage isn't too bad.

Marietta ~ I was trying to win the Beachbody Slim Series on ebay, but the price started getting up there. Good workouts this weekend. I was so busy and tired from all the late nights that I didn't get my usual Saturday workout. How was the lock in and dd's b-day?

Susan ~ Thanks for responding about my back question. Some of the exercises look good from that article. I can do them all in my workout room except for pull-ups. Glad to hear your son's party went well. I know what you mean about all the presents. They get so much stuff. Sorry about your dinner plans, but you got roses!! :)

Terri ~ Now you can't talk to your mom or brother?! What is going on with him? That's terrible. Hang in there.

Sabrina ~ What are you up to today? Do you meet just once a week for your class?

Diane Sue ~ Hope your migraine goes away really soon. I had a headache all day Friday and now all day today. Hope I'm not getting sick because I usually don't get headaches.

Hey Guys...I'm back!!

I went for a 4.5 mile run at lunch today. The guys went but they cut it short...I went a bit further on my own.

What shall I do tomorrow?? That's the question....

Lora - You got a job! Congratulations!! Hey - don't self-defeat yourself. You can do the job!! They think you can do the job or they would not have hired you. Go in there with a positive attitude and make it happen!!

Diane Sue - Hope your head gets better....how in the world can you workout with a headache...you go girl!!

Dallas - Thanks for asking...everything went great!! I love hanging out with youth. Saturday, I took my DD and her friends skating and to play basketball. We had a party for her at home yesterday and I had a house full of family. We had pizza and my mom made a wonderful cake. I ate too much of both...but I don't feel bad about at all!! Did you workout today??

Oh my, yes Marietta I worked out. When I posted I forgot to say what I did workout wise! I really think something is wrong with me. I've been so forgetful lately! :-( I left the empty pan on the stove with the burner still going! Yikes! If I'm like this now, what in the world will I be doing when I'm a senior!? :eek:

Anyway, I did KPC stopping before the abs, then did PH legs, chest, back, and abs, then KPC abs and stretch. I'm going to try and stick with this rotation for at least 2 weeks. Maybe longer, who knows. After the way I ate this weekend, I need "Stop eating junk" rotation! :-(
