Morning Ladies -

Ugh ....it's Monday already! This morning I did Firm 4 Sculpt and about 20 minutes of Firm 4 Aerobics.

Have great workouts everyone. I'll try to check in later from work.
 
Morning Ladies!

I have to go this morning and get my truck tire fixed. At least I hope it can be fixed and I don't have to buy a new one. That screw is aweful big! lol

I will be in study mode most of the day. I have class tonight and class tomorrow night(make up day), then the test Thursday morning for the class. I can't wait to get it over with. The test in Springfield will be as soon as I pass the class test.

I better get the boys ready for school.

Yesterday I did a 7.25 miles hill workout on my treadmill.

This morning I did the Gaunlet...haven't done that one in a while...it was good.

I had a nice weekend although it went too fast...did a little bit of shopping, but I've got a lot more to do. I'll have to find some time to squeeze it in.

Good Morning!

Today I did MIS. I also did it on Saturday, and took Sunday off.

We got our tree up and decorated this weekend, all Christmas card are done and so it the shopping! I still have a few "odds and ends" to pick up still (like for stockings and the dog).
I also got geared up for the baby. My girlfriend had one of her children at week 33, so it got me thinking. I picked up some newborn diapers, formula, blankets, bottles, and bassinette sheets to start.
I'd really like to decide on a name, once and for all.

This morning was my monthly doctor visit. This time I gained two pounds. I'm up to 107 pounds. She said by now, I should gain a pound a week....I cant imagine.

I'll have to check back later. I also want to see what you all did over the weekend, since I didnt check in at all.

I have a shoe question. I'm not sure if I like my Ryka's and here's the reason. Maybe someone else had a similar experience. I never had a pair of shoes with synthetic/mesh uppers. I've always had leather athletic shoes. I don't know if I just need to get used to them or I don't like them. My foot doesn't feel as supported as with leather shoes and I find myself retying them throughout my workout trying to make them feel more supportive. Do you ladies think I just need to get used to them or do you think I need leather support? Ever since I broke my foot, I keep my shoes laced up pretty tight to keep my foot in place good. I notice if my shoes are even just a bit loose, I have foot pain (in both the bad and good foot). Thoughts??

OOOOOOOOOOOO it is COLD outside:+ Today I plan on doing Burn it up. I have been x-mas shopping this morning, and now that I picked up DD from school we will head out in a few minutes!!

Lora I think that leather gives you more support than mesh. If your new ones are causing your foot to act up. Go back to your old ones.

Dallas and Diane Sue I was wondering how you are liking your toe weights? Do you use them alot??? Do you think they are worth it? Dallas where did you end up ordering yours from? You paid 20.00 bucks?? Was that with shipping??

Diane Sue you got me interested in these, and I still am :D

How's all my check in buddies?!

Yesterday, was a rest day for me. I l planned on getting a run on the treadmill in at least, but felt dizzy again. What the heck?! I feel fine today, but had to be at the school early for my ds's computers and then my dd's class for gingerbread people. So, I still have to work out.

Nicole ~ My weights just got here. I finally put them in the workout room yesterday. So, I haven't used them yet. Here's where I got them:

Terri ~ How was your lunch with your dad yesterday?

Lora ~ Maybe you need to give your shoes time to break in?

Sabrina ~ How's studying going? I would have to go to the library. There's no way I could study at home. I'd find other things to do. I'm bad. I was that way in college too. Good luck!

Susan ~ That's good you're getting ready for the baby. You're right, you never know when the baby will decide it's time!

Marietta ~ You're making want to pull out The Terminator DVD. Hmm, maybe later. Does that one work lower body more than the others? I'll have to go look at the description.

Diane Sue ~ I hope I won't regret getting that MTV pilates now. Oh well, it was only $11 bucks.

I'll check back after I get a workout in today. I hate when I don't do it first thing, it just hangs over my head all day. However, we had so much fun making gingerbread people today. Yesterday, we made gingerbread houses. Next week will be gingerbread cookies. :9

Hello Ladies,

A late check in for me today as I had to do a bunch of client stuff this morning. Today is a run and a SS workout and ctx upper body. Nicole I keep looking for Burn it Up on ebay but no luck so far. I e-mailed the lady from the other forum but never heard back. You have me really wanting it!

Marietta-I hope you get yur shopping done soon so you can rlax for the holidays..:)
Susan-One pound a week? How do you feel about that?

Lunch with my dad went great. He changed his mind at the last minute and wanted to go to the country buffett> The 4 of us then went back to his place and he played his Johnny Cash Cd and loves it. He needed an iron so I got him one as well which he was happy about it. Himand my son did a lot of joking around etc. My dad said he was going to steal my sons gf :) She is a gorgeous girl!

Dallas thanks for the link!! What color did you end up getting? I kinda like the blue and fuscha? Let me know how your workout goes with them, and if you see your self using them weekly?


Terri Burn it up really keeps my heartrate up during the cardio!! I think this is a really well rounded workout!! Timber posts here you could try pming her?? (I hope you get it haha) Have you got Firm it up yet??? I think will really enjoy those squats!! Happy to hear you had a nice lunch today!!

Susan yes you had better get things ready!! I had my last 2 at the at almost 34 weeks!!

Hey Nicole, thanks for the idea to pm timber! I will do that. The lunch with dad was yesterday I made it sound like today :) NO i still have not recieved firm it uo yet! I e-mailed the seller and they said that they mailed it last week...Maybe the busy mail season is the hold up!

Hey Everyone...I'm back!

I finally got my workout in when dh got home. I did the Gauntlet (thanks Marietta for reminding me;-) ). That WAS a good one! I did C&W abs and stretch too. Nicole, I used those Jolie weights and I could feel the difference from just 2 lbs! I'd get them. I can't wait to use them when I do Core Max.

OK, have to go read some good night stories! :)

Dallas I am happy to hear you enjoy your new weights!! I want them:7 They are sold out of mostly all the colors except Fuchsia and yellow. I was all set to get the Fuchsia when my DD6 thinks I should get the yellow haha. Decisions Decisons!!

Oh Terri... tonight I did Burn it up and I muted Debbie, and put on one of my books on tape, and it was WONDERFUL!!

It has been a busy day today so haven't had time to even get on the computer other than to talk to dh for a little bit. Anyway today I did 5.25 mile treadmill intervals, MM lower and I had talked to Dallas about the MTV Pilates mix I did the lower and abs on it. Sunday was a rest day for me.

Marietta it sounds like you had some good workouts. I like the Gauntlet. I feel like I really got a good workout whenever I do that one.

Dallas, I got my jolie weights from fitness wholesale. They only had the royal ones.I like the other colors. I'm glad you liked them. Wait till you use them on the corkscrew:) You may really like the MTV Pilates Mix. I think you definitely get some good moves for flexibility in these. Let me know what you think when you try it. It is only around 12 minutes total on abs and 12 min on lower.

Nicole, I still use mine all the time. Mostly for ab workouts. I do use them everytime I do the leg toning on KM. They also velcro so I have added them to my barbell for a small weight increase.

Terri, I am doing great. Thanks for asking. Just more busy than I thought I would be with dh gone. I think I keep trying to tackle to many projects at once and then have errands to run and appointments to keep.

Lora, maybe the shoes need broken in, although generally if a shoe is not comfortable at the start for me it never will be.
