Morning Ladies -
I'm on week one of the April Strength rotation. I did Gym Style Legs - floor, PLB floorwork, Coremax 2 and StretchMax 2 today. That was really a different workout for my legs. I've just mostly been doing squats and lunges, etc., so this will hopefully help me. The only reason I don't like doing workouts lying down is cuz I don't sweat and when I don't sweat, I don't feel like I've worked out hard enough. However, that being said....I'm really finding out where my weak body parts are working out on this rotation. I've got some work to do! I have noticed my body is slightly more defined since starting Cathe's workouts mid February, but I've got a long way to go, as I like the muscular appearance. The scale is holding steady at the low end of my normal weight. I've been trying really hard to eat clean, but I get soooooooooo hungry on this rotation. I had to go buy nuts at work the other day, cuz I felt like I needed protein. I'm babbling...........off to eat breakfast.
One last thing - I thought I'd share this with you ladies, as you've become a part of my life over the last month. Yesterday was my clean date, clean & sober for 18 years. My Mom bought me some chocolate to celebrate and I'm really trying to watch.....should I or shouldn't I? Anyway, I lost my father when I was 18 and it was difficult for me to handle so I got a little out of hand for a period of my life. When I got clean, I got into exercise and now exercise is a big part of my life and helps me to fight my disease of addiction, as well as my depression on a daily basis. Just thought I'd share that. (now I'm addicted to Cathe.....LOL)
