Hardcore Rotation Checkin 3/8/05

Morning everyone,

Today's MM (FLR) - couldn't get up at 5:15 this morning so going to do an upper body premix and then a 20min interval run tonight. Has anyone got an opinion on the best MM upper premix?

Todays eats:
porridge
ryvita & hoummous
smoked salmon & rye bread
apple & nuts
devilled chicken & veggies

Morning Everyone,
I'm doing the fatloss rotation and did Muscle Max this morning. Whoa Dude....my muscles are heavy. I'm used to lifting 3 times a week and for some reason with the extra rest in between, I felt like I got more fatigued than usual (maybe I'm just not feeling well....I don't know). Anyway, tomorrow is KickMax. I'll be glad to change the rotation next week. I get bored quickly. Off to eat shredded wheats and yogurt. Lunch will be salad. Unsure of dinner. Snacks will be fruit and granola bar. Have a great day everyone.

This morning I did IMAX3 and Stretchmax section 1. I really like this section of stretchmax.

cathe's MuscleMax for me too! I feel like the previous poster. My arms are heavy!! My biceps are hurting! I like that we do what we do 2x per week.

KickMax tomorrow...but I don't really like it, so I'm running instead.

Thanks for you guys posting your eating plans, it gives me ideas and let's me gauge my own eating as well! THANKS!

Hi everyone!

This morning is supposed to be MM (fat loss rotation) but I'm pretty sore from lifting this weekend, so I think I'll do kickmax today and MM tomorrow.

Breakfast is Kashi Go Lean with 1/2 cup vanilla low fat soymilk and a sliced banana.

Last night I did a 6.7 mile run and GS Chest and Tri's. Tonight is a run and a segment of Coremax.

Good morning, today was supposed to be Imax 3 ( MER ), but I have already done that one 3 times since I received it, so I did Imax 1 and seg 1 of Ab hits.
As of now I still think Imax 3 is tougher...

Can I play, can I play? ;-)

I have been using Hardcore everyday since the first day I received it(2/8) but I have not been up to my usual intenstity due to illness and life-change (school). I would love to join you and see how you incorporate this new series and perhaps I can help spur you on as well...an interchange of motivation is what is it all about, right?
I do not think I will be able to post everyday, but I can check in from time to time and let you know my workouts. I definately want to see how you are doing and the changes this series is helping you to achieve. I love all the leg work this series has and how interchangeable these workouts are. For now, I personally am working on getting my endurance rate up. But this series can help one to accomplish everone's personal goals.
I am most anxious to see how Diane Sue incorporates these workouts as well.

My workouts from 3/1 to 3/7 are as follows:
3/1 CoreMax 2
3/2 LowMax and then GS Legs
3/3 KickMax and CoreMax2 (Guess I found this easier haha)
3/4 High Step Challenge
3/5 Imax3 and Winsor Pilates/Abs
3/6 GS Chest/Triceps/Back/Shoulder/Biceps (Timesaver)/Imax2/Winsor Pilates Abs
3/7 Hardcore Extreme#3/Karen Voigt Core Esssentials

BTW I noticed Karen Voigt/s BLT uses the same music as Cathe's CTX series. It feels good to do this workout because it seems like "home". LOL

My diet consists of way too many Peanut Toffee cliff bars. I want to incorporate some of Diane Sue's suggestions and possibly follow her around the kitchen for awhile. ;-) ( Big wave to Diane Sue)

Bev, wish I had your energy to run. I think it is impressive all the running that you do + your workouts. I still have a picture of you on the ball doing pikes. I keep it for motivation. You look marvelous!

I think all of you are doing a wonderful job in your rotations. It is fun to work with these workouts, fun to see the results, and also fun to work with the premixes. I feel these help in endurance because if you do a section of Imax3, for example, that is giving you a hard time in the original workout, by doing it in the premix in a whole new setting, the body now thinks it can get through it when you go back to the original. At least that is how my mind over muscle thinks. LOL
 
AHHHHH!! I turned my alarm OFF instead of SNOOZE this morning! So, I only had just less than 45 minutes to workout. I was supposed to do MM, but, only had time for the MM Push Pull Premix(upper body). I'm hoping to do the MM Legs Timesaver after work, since it's only 20 minutes long.
Would you guys have done the same? (split up the workout?) or, just try to do it all at once at night~ still considering the next morning is KM.
We're going to get 7-9" of snow today, so I'm not sure how late I'll be getting home, then dinner and stuff.

If I were you I would just do lower body tonight.

It's so nice to have you!! This rotation check-in is keeping me motivated to stick with it!! Most of us have picked out one of the 3 rotations that Cathe posted. I am currently doing the fat loss rotation, and then I plan on moving onto strength and then muscle endurance.

Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but Low Max was killer for my legs. Good luck. I know you can do it!!
 
lora? for u. in the part that u have to use the barbell lying down in the bench and taking the barbell all the way back was u able to do that one.

It seems like a lot of us did MuscleMax today. I decided to stick with Cathe's plan and follow the same workouts as last week. I did skip the dreaded ab work on MM due to time constraints, so I promise to myself that I will add on ab work tomorrow. I have yet to do KickMax in it's entire, original form, so I am going to aim for that tomorrow as well. I have been SO tired the past week and really down and unmotivated (could it be all the crappy food I have been scarfing down?!) although I am getting in all my workouts. But one of my main goals for this rotation was to really try and make a habit of getting up and doing it in the morning, and I have just been cramming them in whenever I can. I know I can get up early, because I was on roll back in Nov/Dec and for 7 weeks straight I got up at 6 am and didn't sleep in once, but then the holidays hit and blah, blah, blah you know how that goes. So I have got to get my energy up and get out of bed!

Welcome Wanda! Hope to see you hear often.

Beverly, I am seriously toying with the idea of training for some races (I have never done this before) and would love to hear how you incorporate Cathe with your running.

This morning I did KickMax up to the lower conditioning,Low Max Blasts only, GS Chest & Triceps, and the band stretch max .
I still haven't eaten enough calories today and just finished dinner.
post workout meal
Smoothie with 1/2 scoop protein powder
1/2 carton plain nonfat yogurt
1/4 cup pineapple
1/4 cup lactaid skim milk
meal #2 salad with 1/2 apple, 1/8 cup feta cheese lemon juice and red wine vinegar
1 can tuna rinsed
meal #3 same salad & 1/2 ounce peanuts
meal#4 Macdonalds cobs salad w/ grilled chicken, my own fat free dressing
meal #5 ?
meal #6 before bed protien smoothie Decaf coffee powder, chocolate protein powder,plain yogurt, & lactaid skim milk

Wanda it is good to see you here! Doing this is great for motivation.
