Hi Ladies,

I did not see the post so I started one. Maybe I missed it.

I did a 6.2 mile run last night and a segment of Coremax. I am off today so I am going to do 5 miles and HSC in a few minutes.

Have a great Friday and weekend.

Hi, Bev - {{HUGS}} to you. Hope you're having a better week.

I'm actually doing the February Cardio Blast rotation this month but won't start till Monday. I'm doing MM tonight. I have a back spasm or pinched nerve or something in my lower right back so I'm trying to take it easy until it subsides a little. I think a heating pad is in store tonight.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Ladies .I did Kickmax This Am . Last night I was sore ,so I was gonna not do Kickmax But My friend kicked me and Said "No Do Kickmax" Oh friends can be so great !!!! Anyhow Glad I did it .:) :) :) Have great days everyone:) :) :)

Hi ladies, the post was started by scm and is titled April rotation checkin.

Here's what I posted on it:

Morning Ladies - I only had time to do Kickmax Timesaver Low Impact Premix this morning, as I have to be at work 1 hour early. For those of you who are familiar with that premix, it's only 20 minutes of warm-up and aerobics and then 20 minutes of leg drills with stretch. I didn't burn near enough calories and feel very guilty, but I couldn't sleep again last night. I only got about 4.5 hours last night. I took a homeopathic sleep remedy, Valerian Root and was sniffing Lavendar oil all night in hopes of getting a good nights sleep. Still having a really rough time with my neck and shoulder pain also. (I'm complaining again - hopefully next week will be better for me). I was unable to wear my TMJ splint for a week due to my oral surgery so perhaps that's why I'm having the additional jaw and neck pain this week. Ugh...work ought to be fun today (NOT). Tomorrow is my rest day and I'm trying to convince myself that an easy workout today was really like an active recovery day and backed with my normal rest day...this may help my results in that I'll get a good 2 day rest before starting the April Strength rotation on Sunday.

Breakfast is the usual .... I won't bore you with the details. Lunch will be soft veggie taco, spanish rice and yogurt. Have great workouts everyone and have a great day.

ETA: I forgot to mention...the kicking and punching felt really good...great stress reliever.

Hi Ladies,

I did my 5 mile run and HSC. Wow, it felt great and now I am going to do some cleaning.

Angie, Thanks for the hugs and yes I am having a much better week. My husband will be home Sunday and my dad is getting through his radiation on his brain pretty well. They also confirmed it was in his lungs and he will be doing radiation on his lungs now too. He is strong and is really hanging in there. My mom takes really good care of him and loves him a lot..
Today is there 40th Wedding anniversary.... I am soo proud of them and they have shown me how to get through the good, the bad and the ugly...

lorajc, I guess I should look better for the post. I was looking for Hardcore rotation. Did you decide if you are going to try running?

Have a great day ladies.

WD, when his your husband leaving for Iraq. Is he a contractor for the government?

Hi run-4-fun - I'm not sure. My problem is that I work out at 3:00 am and my husband doesn't think it's safe to run by myself at that time of day. When the weather warms up here, he said he'd think about going with me every once and a while. He runs 5-7 miles several times a week and I doubt if he'd be patient with me at first, as my doctor said I have to run and walk and slowly break into it and I'm not sure if my low back will take the impact after all of the problems I've had this week. I told my hubby we need a treadmill but we have no money right now, so that's not an option.

so sorry to hear about your Dad (and hubby).

Hi everyone,
Today I did HC Extreme #3 Intervals and leg conditioning, GS calves & floor legs,Bowflex 4 sets each leg extensions, leg curls, leg presses, & calves, GS Premix C&T supersets, St.Max with the ball. Actually I used the Bowflex for the incline chest work. I am thinking of incorporating it a little more with the Gym Styles.

Lora, I think the break is just what you need. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Beverly, my husband is leaving for Iraq on the 26th. Actually he has been retired for 3 years. He volunteered for this and yes it is a contracter for the government. I am glad things are looking better for you this week. I know the years that my mother had als were tough, and I understand how hard it is.

Everyone have a great day.

Beverly-

Im new here. I tend to be real quiet. But I had to send you a hug. It is not easy dealing with an illness like cancer. My father-in-law had mesothemiola(sp?) A tough battle but he had a great support system much like your dad :)

Your workouts are inspiring. I too run and find it to be my sanity time some days ;-)

As for teens driving-- or rather the boys picking your daughter up---I can so relate. I have a 19 yr old girl (very responsible), a 17 yr old boy (scares me at times but he is a good/respectable boy) and a 15yr old girl (who will be the one to give me grey hair for sure):) Some reason I have visions of her with a car load every time she offers to run errands for me -hehe!

You have a great weekend

:) :) :)

Hey, Kath - nice to meet you! My 15-yr old is taking driver's ed this summer and she is sooo excited. I'm sooooo not. I guess it will be nice when she volunteers to run errands for me but I'm still going to worry constantly and hold my breath until she comes back safe and sound! I guess I know now what my parents went through!!

Keep posting - don't be a stranger! :p

Hi Angie and thanks for the welcome :) Nice to meet you too!

My two older kids took drivers ed. An expensive course but worth it. No one wants to listen to their mom & dad :) I can only imagine what it will be like when my 15yr old starts.(she wont take it til next year when she is 16--she is a christmas baby) I'm dreading it. Even her brother and sister tell us , we are in big trouble when that happens. I had my kids young(20)-- she will surely age me fast.

Thanks again Angie

Have a great day!

Hi Ladies,

I did the Gaunlet, after a much needed day off yesterday! I also did Hard Core abs #3. I feel great!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Kath,

Nice to meet you. Thanks for the post! It helps me alot to know I am not alone with what I am going through.

Running is a huge outlet for me...

3 teenagers.... I am stressing with my two. :7
They really are good kids, but sometimes I wonder why they act like 2 year olds then want me to treat them like they are 20...

Join in more often..

lorajc, a treadmill would be ideal but I don't think the pounding would be good for your back and neck.. Walking or fast walking would be good.

WD, I hope all goes well for your husband. What part of Iraq will he be in?

Have a great weekend ladies.
Beverly
