Good Morning, today is a rest day for me. Have a couple of errands to run after church and someone coming to trim a tree. Last night I sat in the hot tub and did Keli Roberts Flexibility for the Inflexible foam roller workout. Really help work out the knots:) BBL
 
Didn't have time to post my workout from yesterday so I'm posting it now. Had a great Back and Biceps workout. Tomorrow starts Week 9 of this rotation.

This next 4 weeks drops calories even more, and carbs down to only 66 grams a day, which I'm not going to follow. I'm in the mindset now of building, not leaning out, only because it's so cold out and I'm covered up so what's the point in leaning out? LOL! I just like this rotation and want to complete it, then I'll do the usual rotation I do in the winter and then I'll do this rotation again next spring when I lean out and then I'll follow the food part of it to a tee.

1 minute rest between each set.

BACK
Barbell Rows:
100# - 5/5 (up 5# and PB)
90# - 12/11 (up 5#)
75# - 15 (up 5#)

One Arm Rows:
51# - 5/5 (up 1#)
35# - 15 (same as last week)
***Should have went higher with the first two sets.

Barbell Pullovers:
70# - 5/5 (up 3#)
Dumbbell Pullovers:
45# - 12/12
40# - 15
***Switched to dumbbells because I hate the way the barbell feels. I can't get good range of motion. Plus my triceps are brought into the movement too much.

Barbell Shrugs:
155# - 5/5 (up 5#)
140# - 12/12 (same as last week)
135# - 15 (up 5#)

BICEPS
Dumbbell Curls:
35's - 5/5 (up 3#)
27's - 12 (up 2#)
20's - 15/15 (same as last week)
***35's felt awesome but almost too hard to do with good form. But I strongly believe that you can't move up with weights unless you struggle a little first.

Hammer Curls:
32's - 5/5 (up 2#)
22's - 15/15 (up 2#)
***Forearms did well with these.

Dumbbell Preacher Curls:
27's - 5/5 (up 2#)
22's - 12 (up 2#)
17's - 15/15 (same as last week)

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Had an awful night on friday with smoke detectors...took batteries out..still going off. Shut down all power to house..still going off. Finially had to disconnect the wires, and even still the damn little things were going off from the "juice" still in them. Lawd! Didn't fall asleep til very late so no work out on Saturday..just took a nap and tried to catch up from being busy and lack of sleep. Today, I just finished MM abs. Gonna work shoulders next and get on elliptical and then packing and off to Maryland. Looking forward to resting some for the next few days. I need it soooo bad!

AWESOME job with the arm workout!!! WOOHOO! I do agree with you on the form. Sometimes you have to "push thru" to get up higher, but most carefully though. That is awesome too you are up so high now with bb rows...WAY TO GO!!!

omg Toasty, that fire alarm would have driven me batty!

did anyone see Sarah Palin on SNL? I just watched the clip; beyond hillarious! of course, the little rap was performed by someone else, but it was still pretty cool.

I think today is gonna end up being a rest day or light day for me. I'm still sore in my booty and hamstrings from my workout two days ago! I wanted to do legs today, but damn...I can't even sit down without feeling it.
 
Charlotte, I recently had this happen with my smoke detectors. Kept beeping. I kept messing with them. The thing is they do not require batterie. My son came over and messed with them and they beeped a few times but finally quit. You should have my oven it beeps in the middle of the night with error messages.

LOL, I must have been half asleep this morning when I started the thread. Didn't spell Maniacs right. Don't know how to edit that or I would go back and fix it.

Charlotte, the crazy thing with the oven is that I had a guy come out to fix it and I am supposed to wait for it to start beeping again so I can get the first error code # that shows up since the numbers vary. Sometimes it will not let me operate anything on it. I had to shut it off at the switch box last time it started in so I wouldn't have to hear it. Now that I have paid him 50 dollars for a service call it is working like it is supposed to and won't beep:0 I am sure it will wait till the middle of the night or something. Or when I have something cooking. It shuts itself off too.
 
Good evening everyone! I'm resting today. Last day of rest and tomorrow I hit it double hard (great English I know). Tomorrow is week 2 of P90x. On Plyometrics days I was going to do my own cardio but I'm reading those cellulite articles on the Figure Athlete website and it mentions something about plyometrics being good for cellulite so I might do that workout. Tomorrow I'll do Chest & Back and CC#8 b/c I CAN WASH MY HAIR!!! Yippeee!!!

Today I went to church and sat with some friends and their kids sat in the second row and MAN OH MAN was it loud! I think I told you the band is kinda like a rock band. I felt like I was at a concert. :eek:

Debbie - Good heaven's woman - 32# hammer curls????!!!! Yeah, I do 17.5#. I used to do 22# but apparently that was not helping my shoulder heal??? Now you see why I don't post my weights?

Hermia - My sister sent me the link to watch that SNL skit. Funny stuff!

Char - We'll miss you!

Diane Sue - I can't wait to get in the hot tub again. I haven't been able to since I can't sweat until I can wash my hair. This is quite the process. :) Didn't even notice the misspelling.

I wonder how Lora is doing???
 
Suz, don't worry about posting your weights, I do 15# for bicep curls, so you have me beat there! lol!

I ended up doing Pure Tranquility with Rainbeau Mars, and then using my foam roller a bit, just to hopefully feel less stiff. Didn't want to rest today (would rather save it for a day when I have evening plans), but it was needed, I think.
