Hardcore Fitness Maniacs May 2026

Wow, May already. Where is the time going? I'm excited, though, because in a little over a month, I will be on my summer break! I can then concentrate on my soap business and get things going with online sales. I'm so excited!!

My nerve pain is about gone but the weird thing is, it gets triggered every damn time I drive in my car. I have the most comfortable seats than in any car/SUV I've owned and it hurts after about 10 minutes of sitting in it. I don't get it. I'm good on any other chair. If that doesn't go away soon, I will see my PT lady.

I had my annual physical and my blood work came back good except my red blood cells and hemoglobin are low. I don't understand this either, because I eat everything it is telling me to eat for anemia, which I seem to have sightly. I eat greens, I eat meat now, I eat beans. WTF. I ordered a multivitamin in hopes that works. I've had this issue for several years and nothing I do has changed it. Worries me.

Diane - I hope your granddaughter and her baby are still doing well. What a scare that was, I'm sure!!! I'm happy to see you have an infusion scheduled already. I sure hope that helps you like it has helped my cousin.

Belinda & Roselyn - Good job on your workouts!!

Jolie & Roxie - Hello to you both!!

Have a great weekend everyone. I do think I'm going to start doing some small workouts on Monday. I need to find recovering workouts so I don't stress myself too much. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post.

Thank you!

Wow, this week has flown by and it is already May!!! This is what I have done for workouts and movement this week thus far.
Monday- Wednesday I did a lot of walking through the hills with the pup. My right hamstring is sore so yesterday I drove down to the beach and walked on flat ground. This helped a lot and now the pain is going away. Yesterday I also did P90X Back and Biceps and had a kick ass workout. I really like these workouts and will be doing Chest, Shoulders and Triceps this weekend. Today will be another walk at the beach on flat ground. Tomorrow I will go and visit my mom so only a long, long drive is ahead of me tomorrow. Hopefully Sunday I can do my P90X workout.

Debbie, when I drive my husband's cars, which are all Fords, I get a nerve pain in the back of my right shoulder, and the pain shoots down my arm. I literally have to move my arm around constantly or I am in so much pain. Try not putting your arm on the center council if that is the side where the pain comes from.

Great job with the workouts everyone. I hope you all have a great day.

Diane, I hope all is well. I just came back from a funeral for my cousins seven-year-old granddaughter who died last Sunday in an ATV accident. She was riding by herself (a child size) she went down the embankment into a lake and drowned her dad and my cousin and her husband couldn’t get her out. It was horrific. They were all neighbor she does it all the time just usually goes in a circle. She asked to ride one more time that morning, and it happened was terrible and the other grandmother decided to have an open casket. I don’t know why. Anyway, if you can say a prayer for them

today was chest and back

Today I did LMR Elevate Metabolic Strength workout, 43 minutes, 159 calories, 101/142 heart rate. I followed with Senior Shape with Lauren Kickboxing, 33 minutes, 199 calories, heart rate `16/`70. Total time 76 minutes, 358 calories. We went to see the new great grandbaby this afternoon. They should be going home this evening. They are anxious to be back at home with their 2 year old son again. He has stayed here the last two nights. So thankful they are okay. Seeing pictures of the care was shocking.

Roselyn, that is so heart breaking. I will pray for your cousin and family. That is so heart breaking. Open casket makes it harder on families. Some expect it though.

Jolie, great job on the walks and P90X Back and Biceps. Have a nice time with your mother tomorrow. I get a nerve in my neck and shoulder where my seat belt sets. I am constantly trying to move the seat belt on the right side so it does not touch that area.

Debbie, my red cells and hemoglobin was high, but just a little over the high amount. My doctor never mentions it. I take a Complete B Complex vitamin every day. I am trying to get more protein in. It is hard when we go out for lunch more than usual and meals here are pretty good. They get hello fresh and are trying to eat more veggies and proteins. I am just usually short at the end of the day so I eat a protein bar at bed time. I am not good at timing. I think maybe PT is a good idea. Maybe you can adjust angles in your car seat. I have to make mine just right angle, so my back doesn't hurt.

Belinda, nice job on Meso 1 day 3 legs and a zoom class. My PT doctor is starting me on the infusion Simponi the 19th. I am hoping it helps things. Living with pain all of the time is so tiring.

Today's workout was Pilates Posture workout, 29minutes and Osteoporosis friendly abs 10 minutes. 39 minutes total 92 calories. That is, it for the day except for outside walking with my dog.

Evening,

My DD gifted me a facial and full body massage for my birthday. Had a lot of fun, very relaxing. DH and I went out for lunch afterwards. DD was suppose to get a massage with me, her car broke down. DH took her place instead.

I ended up doing a live zoom Pilates and a walk.

Diane - nice job yesterday on your workouts and today. Your infusion is similar to Remicade. I pray you find some relieve. Glad you got in so quickly.

Good morning,
