Hi,

I did a zoom dance class plus SBF Posture workout. This one opens up my shoulders.

Diane - I hope you doing well. How was your MIR’s?

Debbie - I didn’t had floaters before the surgery. My doctor said, it’s the film in the new lense that is breaking up which is causing the floaters. It happens to a lot of people after cataracts surgery. I had clouding of the eye's natural lenses. I had trouble seeing clear. I agree, those floaters are very annoying. You need to get them checked out. Great job on your workout. Thanks for the name of your TM. I do want one with incline.

Jolie - great job on your workouts this week. I love Cathe’s older workouts too.

Roxie - have fun at the lake.

Roselyn - i hope you had a great workout today.

Good night.

I was going to lift weights today but just didn't feel like it. I'm so happy this is the last 4:30 morning for a while. It's getting harder and harder to workout so early for me.

This morning I just walked on my treadmill. Worked up a good sweat.

Workout was 43 minutes, burned 415 calories, went 2 miles, did 4827 steps and HR was 157/186.

I remember when I struggled to get my HR past the 120's while walking on my TM, what the heck happened?

Roxie - Hope you guys are having fun at the lake! Sounds wonderful!! Great job keeping up with your workouts while you're there. That is awesome! I get the monitor next week. I hope I'm not allergic to the stuff they stick on you. Sometimes I am allergic to bandaids. We'll see.

Jolie - Good seeing you! Great job on your workouts. Hope your life settles down a bit soon.

Belinda - I have floaters all the time. I am very near sighted so that's why. I didn't know your eyes were cloudy, that's strange. I bet it's good to not have that issue anymore. I love my treadmill. I highly recommend ProForm treadmills.

Have a great day everyone!! I get to leave at noon today and won't be back here until Aug. 4. Woo hoo!!! This school year flew by.

Today I took the pup for a 3.5 mile walk through the hills. I will get in another 1 to 2 miles of walking this afternoon since it is overcast and gloomy out today.

Debbie, great job with the TM walk this morning. I bet you are excited for your summer vacation. I am the same way with waking up early lately, I feel run down when I do. 6 am seems to be the perfect time for me to wake up and I go to bed by 9 pm. I need close to 10 hours of sleep, especially when I lift weights and walk a lot in the same day.

Belinda, great job on the zoom class yesterday.

Roxie, have a safe trip home.

I hope you all have a great workout today!

Hi,

Today I did JS Build TB 3 Plus SBF mobility and lower body.

Debbie - I am sorry you have floaters all the time. I know how frustrating and annoying they can be. Mine are driving me crazy. I had very cloudy lenses. I am farsighted. I had trouble seeing out of my right eye due do an injury as a child.I was pretty much blind in that eye. I don’t have 20/20 vision, but I can see which is remarkable. My surgeon is amazed how well I can see after my surgeries. I see a lot better than i did months ago, lol. My left eye I have 20/20 vision. I am not wearing glasses. Yes, it feel very good not having any issue anymore. Thank you for the recommendation on the TM. I will look into it this weekend. Great job on your workout this morning. It is early when you workout.

Jolie - great job on your walks. That is a lot of walking. Your pups must be happy.

Have a great evening.

Yesterday I did CDorner Easy Basic Vertical Step (slow paced for learning vertical step and all over side to side, nothing off the end) Also just a bench without risers. 35 minutes, 224 calories, heart rate 130/156, 2600 steps. Today I did CDorner Low Impact Aerobics All Standing, 40 minutes, 286 calories, heart rate 141/173??
3305 steps. They have not called on the mri results, but the doctors notes after reading them was on their portal. I do not know why his office has not called. The kyphoplasty is still in tact like it was when I left the office so that is positive. The Lumbar area had a lot of degenerative notations. Severe facet arthropathy what ever that means. I need to go over all of the of the wording and look it up. I was hoping they would explain. Like maybe it is not as scary as it sounds or something. I will send the report to my arthritis doctor. The doctor that did the surgery is in a pain management place that does spinal stuff. I think some of it explains that hip pain I have had going on. I am bored out of my mind and trying hard to follow rules. Almost 3 weeks. Generally, it is no bending, twisting etc for 4 to 6 weeks.

Belinda, nice job on yesterday's dance class and SBF Posture work. I would like to stretch out my shoulders and upper back. The only thing they told me I can do is walk. From reading I should be able to do more soon. I am impatient. Nice job on today's JS Build TB 3 plus SBF Mobilty and lower body.

Roxie, nice work on the walk this morning. The statin my doctor was supposed to be the best tolerated Lovastatin. It did not work for me.

Debbie, good job on the treadmill. I think I would have had to be running on the treadmill for my heart rate to be that high. I kind of think the Garmin is giving higher heart rates lately because I am getting pretty high for just a low intensity walk workout. Although I would like to think I was working that hard. I did get a bit of a sweat today though. I was actually really hungry today after the work out. I am still getting low calorie burns though.

Jolie, I have been busy and a lot going on lately too. Missed some days checking in. Nice that you got in workouts and walk in the hills.

Roselyn, nice work on the Full Body today.

Hi,

Today was another dance and JS Refresh Fusion which was a nice slow TB stretch with some abs.

Diane - I feel so bad for you :( I know it’s hard not working out the way you used to. You will get there befor you know it. Please, keep following your doctor advice. Walking is a good substitute. Nice Job on your step workout.

Nice job everyone.

This morning I did STS 2.0 Body Parts Chest. I had a great workout, love these workouts, I'm so glad I ordered the set.

1 minute rest between each set.

Flat Bench Press #1: 25's - 10 reps
Flat Bench Press #2: 26's - 10 reps
Flat Bench Press #3: 26's - 8 reps
Flat Chest Fly #1: 22.5's - 10 reps
Flat Chest Fly #2: 22.5's - 10 reps
Flat Chest Fly Pinkie In: 22.5's - 10 reps
Incline Bench Press: 26's - 10 reps
Incline Close Grip Press: 25's - 10 reps
Incline Unilateral Chest Press: 21's - 6 reps alternating
Incline Bench Press/Close Grip Combo: 21's - 6 reps
Incline Pause Chest Fly #1: 21's - 8 reps
Incline Pause Chest Fly #2: 21's - 6 reps
Incline Unilateral Fly: 21's - 6 reps alternating
Banded Low/High Chest Fly: 15# Band - 12 reps
Banded Mid Chest Fly: 30# Band - 12 reps
Pause Push ups: 10 reps (on knees)

This workout was 39 minutes, burned 116 calories and HR was 83/199. So my HR was way lower this time because I tried using Strength mode on my Garmin. I find it stupid that they want to you enter sets and reps. I don't even know how to do that. I'd be afraid of ending the workout on there. Next time I"ll stick with cardio, I just wanted to see the diifferent in calorie burn. Last time I did this workout I burned 145 Calories.

I also did STS 2 Total Body Stretch. Really need it!!

Great workouts everyone. Busy today so no time for personals. It's so great not going to work!!!

Yesterday was a rest day and family time. Today I did CDorner Low Impac Cardio 80's all standing, 43 minutes, 242 calories, hear rate 122/152.

Debbie, nice job on STS 2.0 Body Parts Chest today. I have used the Strength setting. If you use the bottom button where when you start you it will say set 1 and it counts your reps(not always accurate) and hit the button again and it pauses for rest, then tap again for the next set. It is somewhat frustrating as I forget to push the button and it messes the whole thing up. At the end on the app it will show a body with highlighted areas you worked. It is not always accurate there either. The watch guesses what moves you did and will show that on the app (not accurate) It takes ages to go through it on the app and find the moves you did from the list of exercises to add names and manually put the weight and reps in.
I probably am not making sense, but anyway, I have done it.

Belinda, nice work on CL # 548 Lower Body Power Sculpt. I am sticking with the walking low impact. I did do that one step as I read that after that procedure you can climb steps. It was very slow and not a bunch of fancy moves or travelling the step.
I am getting another procedure Wednesday for the lumbar area. They are giving me a conscious sedation and it is a steroid in the lumbar area. I don't remember what they called the procedure, but they did mention a steroid. I was going to start the Methotrexate today, but since they are doing this, I will wait. I started the folic acid ahead.

Roxie, nice job on the new Beach Body program with Joel Lower Body. It looks interesting.

This morning I did STS 2 Biceps (One Body Part) and had a great workout. I love this workout.

This is the workout:
Barbell Curls: 35# - 2 sets/8 reps
Barbell Curl/Pause Reps: 35# - 8 rep
Kneeling Alt. Sweeper Curls: 16's - 8 reps (I did these seated)
Kneeling Double Arm Sweeper Curls: 16's - 8 reps (I them seated)
Hammer Curls: 20's - 8 reps
CrossBody Curls: 16's - 8 reps
Kneeling Hammer/CrossBody Curls: 16's - 6 reps (I did them standing)
Incline Curls on Stability Ball: 16's - 2 sets/10 reps
Single Arm Preacher Curls: 17.5# - 1 sets/8 reps (I did concentration curls and I did 10 reps)
Single Arm Preacher Curls: 20# - 1 sets/8 reps
Banded Dumbbell Curls: 20# band plus 5's - Lots of reps
Reverse Curls: 12's - 2 sets/12 reps
Barbell Wrist Curls: (skipped)

Workout was 38 minutes, burned 177 calories and HR was 103/145.

Then I wanted to get a short cardio workout in so I checked out Kelly's Youtube to see what she had on there. There was called Boxing Premix from one of her DVD workouts that was only 20 minutes so I did that one. It was fun.

Workout was 18:30 minutes, burned 155 calories and HR was 141/178. It was a fast moving workout, I really liked it.

Belinda - You look like you are really enjoying CL! I should have subscribed when it was so cheap but I really don't think I would have done it much. Nice job on your workout!

Roxie - Do you still belong to Beach Body? I really loved the one series I did on there a few years back, can't remember which one, but it was a great series. I think you did it with me as well. Nice job on your workout!

Diane - Great job with your cardio workout yesterday!! The strength setting on the watch is just too cumbersome. Yes, I know what you meant while describing how to use it. I wouldn't take the time to do that. I just use the cardio setting, it seems to be the most accurate. How have you been feeling? Did you get your MRI results yet? Hopefully you have an appointment scheduled at this point.

Have a great day everyone!

Monday I walked the pup 3.8 miles all in the morning because it is starting to get too hot in the afternoons for a walk. Today's workout was Cathe's Xtrain Burnsets, but I mixed up the format today to suit my mood. I did Shoulders, Biceps and Triceps. Thursday I will do Chest and Back. I love this type of heavier lifting and slower pace. I did add on an extra set to each exercise before failure because I like doing 4 sets instead of 3 if there are only 3 exercises per body part.

Debbie, I need to order the Body Parts dvds for the STS 2.0 set. I many of the other workouts but I did not buy the set, which was stupid! Those look like my type of workout! I just may order those workouts today! Great job on the workouts so far this week, you are killing it!

Diane Sue, I am so sorry that you are going through all of this shit with your body, aging is the pits! You are keeping up a good attitude and that is half of the battle to recovery, great job!

Roxie, that new Beach Body workout looks interesting, I am going to check it out! Great job :)

Belinda, my dog loves his walks, it is his most favorite thing to do except to go for a car ride with the window rolled down :) Great job on the workouts lately, your dance one's sound like so much fun. I want to learn to line dance, and I hear that is a workout too!

Have a nice day.
