Hardcore Fitness Maniacs June 2025

Today I walked the pup 3.4 miles this morning and will try to get a walk in this afternoon, but it is hot today!

Debbie, I have not ordered the dvd's yet, but I will! Great job on the shoulder workout, your weights are very close to mine in each exercise.

Belinda, I just got the cloth ones but have not used them yet. Great job on your workout.

Diane Sue, I hope everything has worked out for you!

Roselyn, nice job on the workout.

Have a great day.

Hi,

I did CL#528 Turned Up Trisets: Upper Body. Great workout.

Diane - I hope all went well today. Thinking about you.

Debbie - yes, those are nice bands. Where did you find those colors? I love those bands. I regret not using them before. Impressive weights on your shoulder workout. I still can’t lift very heavy with shoulders.

Jolie - nice job on your walk today. It’s so hot, humid and lots of rain here.No walk. Open those bands. You will like them. I had mine for years.

Roselyn - nice job!

Good night.

No workout. I got multiple areas they injected today. He had ordered it with a conscious sleep, but when the nurse set up the iv she came back and asked me if I could endure without it since insurance does not pay and I would have to pay 400 up front. So, it was tougher than I expected. The pricks were okay for the local after a numbing agent, but when they went in for the injections it hurt. They said I got a reaction so that showed they got the correct spot. I have bandages all over my back area. My back is sore this evening. He said I could go ahead and workout and start doing things when I asked. I told him does that mean I can pick up an 80 pound barbell, he looked at my face and saw I was kidding said I hope not. I laughed and told him things have slowed down over the last few years. I don't do that anymore. He does have a sense of humor. If this does not help, he said he could do a nerve block. Yikes. I am still going easy because most medical center protocols is 4 to 6 weeks then pt or lighter strengthening stuff.

Jolie, nice job on nice work on the pup walks, XTrain Burn sets, mix up of shoulders, biceps and triceps. STS 2 body parts are thorough and not fast. A good number of moves and variations.

Roselyn nice work on Upper Body.

Belinda, nice job on the two live zumba classes. I like the fabric loop bands. Mine are a set CDorner had on her website from Amazon. I often sub the lighter one on leg work that has the firewalker bands. They are a bit hard for arm work though. Those bands do not look as heavy as the ones I have. My doctor just told me to wait a week or two after the first procedure. Then this other came up. I do not want to already feel bad when I start. I don't want it to mess up my weekends so I may start Monday if I feel a lot better. The Mexotrexate is 2.5 mg 4 tablets once a week. I started the folic acid adjusting since my b complex has about the same as half a tablet folic acid in one tablet. I cut the folic acid in half to make a little over 1 gm. I read up on some websites and talked to dil about it and suggestions is start with the folic acid. My derm daughter is the one that suggested so that I split the tablet since I am already taking some. No folic acid on day of taking methotrexate. I seem to get a better heart rate and number of steps on some of those walk workouts.

Debbie, good job one STS 2 body parts shoulders. Oh, I tried that Raw foam roller and I thought Kelly lost her mind on some of those moves. Particularly fast and the feet over the head in a plough and coming back up just made me think neck pain and back pain galore. I do not know what she was thinking. I tried it twice and gave up on some of it and did fast forward till I saw the whole thing the second time.
Thank you for the prayers.

Today I did STS 2.0 Body Parts Triceps. Had an excellent workout, I like this one even though I don't like working my triceps.

1 minute rest between sets.

Lying Overhead Barbell Extension: 30# - 3 sets/10 reps
R/L Single Arm Overhead Extension: 12# - 2 sets/10 reps
Dips: 30# in lap - 3 sets/8 reps
R/L Kneeling Single Arm Kickback: 12# - 2 sets/10 reps
Band Overhead Extension: 15# band/20# band - 2 sets/12 reps
Band Triceps Pressdown, Palms back: 20# band - 2 sets/12 reps
Band Reverse Grip Pressdown, Palms front: 20# band - 2 sets/12 reps

Total time was 40 minutes, burned 188 calories, HR was 102/131.

I also did the Boxing Premix from Kelly's Youtube channel as well. It was 22 minutes, burned 140 calories, did 2269 steps, HR was 117/160.

Diane - So sorry you are going through all of this. I hope this helps and that it was worth it. Yes, Kelly was nuts doing that on the roller. Crazy!!

Belinda - These are the bands (similar) to the ones I have: https://www.amazon.com/Honmein-Resi...rkout+cloth+bands&qid=1750345324&sr=8-24&th=1

Jolie - Order those DVD's!! You won't regret it!

Have a great day everyone!
