This is what I do know about skin cancer and sunscreens, seed oils and sunglasses. First, seed oils in food oxidize into poison and cause free radical pathology. When you have seed oils in your system and you sit in the sun, this can cause cancer. Sunscreen is all toxic chemicals and most contain chemicals that are very harming to your skin, liver, kidneys and can cause skin cancer just by sitting on your skin while in the sun, and sunglasses are a doozy! There was no skin cancer before sunscreen and sunglasses and seed oils in our foods. Our eyes produce a hormone that protects our skin from the sun when our eyes see bright sunlight. When it is nighttime, our eyes tell the brain it is dark outside and stops producing the hormone. When you put sunglasses on to block the sun's rays, your eyes tell the brain to stop producing the hormone, it is dark outside when in fact, it is light outside. If you do not wear sunglasses while in the sun, you do not get burned. If you wear sunglasses in the sun you will most likely get burned. Also, you need bright sunlight in your eyes for your Sarcadium Rythem. Hope that helps. Bottom line, sun is the best thing for your body and mind. If you stay out of the sun, you will most likely get some sort of cancer or depression and or another type of desease. Vitamin D from the sun is so essential to the cells to function properly. If you are taking Vit D supplements you MUST take them with Vitamin K2 that included MK4 and MK7, magnesium and calcium with minerals otherwise they do not absorb properly.

Yesterday I walked the pup 2.6 miles in the am and 2 miles in the pm. Today's workout was Cathe's Xtrain Biceps and Triceps disc #2. I did really well with the weights, but I will do even better the next time know that I have the workout and my weights written down. I do like these workouts, it has been ages since I have done them, and I do not know why I stopped!

Today I walked on my treadmill. My HR was way up again. Crazy.

Workout was 43 minutes, burned 401 calories (never happens when I walk), went 2.1 miles, did 4946 steps and HR was 151/180.

I thought I'd be bored this week and next since it's my last days until summer break. Wrong!! I had a ton of stuff to do today. That's fine by me, makes the days fly by!!

No walk today. Tomorrow, I go for my heart CT so probably none tomorrow either.

Jolie, nice work on the dog walk and today's X Train Biceps and Triceps. That is interesting on the eyes. I always found a little sunshine helps my energy levels and I sleep better because it helps the body produce melatonin.

Debbie, good job on the treadmill workout. I would use the treadclimber, but my husband is sleeping during the day and at night I am not feeling walking on the treadclimber. Besides I would need my dog there so I know what he is doing. Along with the fact he seems to think the bedroom carpet is a place to pee. Every time we think we are ready to put our rug back down in the living room he finds our carpet and we hold off. I would like to have the rug to help protect his elbows and my great grandson from crashing on the ceramic tile.

Jolie - nice work on the dog walk and today's X Train Biceps and Triceps. I have to wear sunscreen, I burn easily, I get sun blisters. No fun.
