Just one question-did you do Cathe's workouts as is to build the muscle or did you change something-for me her weight workouts are fast so its hard to go up in weight-I do have slow and heavy and I have never done it-I got so excited about Cathe I bought all the DVDs and there are some I have not done yet. I do have problems like with MM because I just cant seem to go up in weight-like for biceps I cant seem to go beyond 12 lbs in each hand-very frustrating. I am going to keep on keeping on though!! Hi to Randi and Sheila too!!!!!!!!!

Debbie, did you get the free down load of CC #2 revised? It was for 2 days a couple of days ago for VFer's. I downloaded it but I'm saving my CC's for another month or 2. They are winter snow can't go outta the house workouts for me. :)

Marietta, glad you got rid of all the pizza and cake fat with your run.

Sheila, great workout! Did you do the new CC #2 revised or the original?

Well I just got back from my bike ride. Just 14 miles into town. I don't know what most peoples problems are tonight. I had about 10 cars drive by too close to me so I think this will be the last time I go into town on bike on a weekday evening. I went before in the evening and nothing like it was tonight. Air is getting much cooler. I love to hear the corn stalks rattle in the wind. Seeing a few abandoned homes...makes me wonder what is in them and how long they have been abandoned, etc.

Hey Lisa...everything that Debbie and Toasty are telling is all good...just remember it takes time and you just have to be patient. I don't know how long you have been working out or anything, but you'll get where you want to be in time...as long as you are working at a level that challenges you, the rest will take care of itself. Don't get hung up on how heavy Cathe or anyone else lifts....you do what you can and work up to where you want to be. So give us a little back ground about yourself...that will really help as suggestions are made.

Randi - Welcome to the Hardcore Maniacs! Enjoy your rest day...

Adri - Thinkin we might need some soap for that little mouth (I mean fingers) of yours...ya think? :)

Megadoo - It took us about 35 minutes. I know it was more than 4 miles, but less than 4.5.

Debbie - I have a Cardio coach CD that I've never used...got it for my birthday in April. During that time I was training for my half-marathon and so I didn't know where to put it into my routine. Now I don't have an excuse...I don't have a clue what to expect. I really need to just do it...

Dallys - I think I took care of that pizza for sure! Honestly, I would have run or done more cardio anyway...I was just being silly. I needed a long run this week, so I just did two shorter ones...

Toasty - Maybe more people are out because the weather is soooo beautiful. Glad you made it home safe! I think about the abandoned homes I see on my runs as well...so peaceful.

I had a little time before I left so i thought I'd post. Hmmmm...kinda chatty aren't I?

Debbie-I love cc and sean is so easy on the ears and eyes-but I like candace also who is on one version of 6.I still need to get seans version.How many do you have?I have all but that last 6 if you want me to lend any of them to you for a few weeks they are cd's.I have them loaded on my mp3 player so they are just sitting there.Let me know.
dally-I did the original I got the free link to the new one but it was going to take 8hours to download can you believe that.I am still on dial up

Debbie - no biggie about the CompuTrainer thing. Heck, today even I don't remember what I have and don't have in my basement.

This morning I did lower body. I did another pyramid style workout doing squats, leg extensions, leg curls and deadlifts. I wish I could share the weights with you, but gotta run. CHARLOTTE - you are crazy! Now that I have a Smith machine for squats, I'm gonna aim high. I have a long way to go!

Lisa - I don't understand your question. I guess yes, I did use her workouts to build muscle. I have been able to pass Cathe with her weights doing GS and S&H. Make yourself lift heavier even if you can't complete the reps she does. Just don't hurt yourself!

Dallys - No, I didn't know anything about the download of CC #2. It was free?

Charlotte - Great bike ride!!! Thats why I hate riding my bike, the people in cars are so rude.

Sheila - I only have #1 right now. I will slowly get the others.
 
Good evening, Fitstresses - just got back a little while ago from my 5:00 p.m. aqua class. We really kicked butt. Interestingly, one of my peeps invested in a waterproof heart rate monitor, and during a couple of the drills her HR was up between 170 and 175 bpm. That tells me that it wasn't just me who was feeling the work.

My foot's rainbow of bruises has faded to some tepid pastels, and impact didn't bother it at all. Thanks for everyone's concern!

Hope all have a good day tomorrow! I'll be taking a non-workout on Thursday but will make up the diff on Friday.
