Hello Maniacs!! I see you guys have been busy this morning!!

This morning I ran 4.5 miles, I may run again at lunch because I have some pizza and cake to run off :-(

Lora - Lately I have not been waking up as early as I would like either...been trying to work on it though.

Megadoo - sorry you didn't feel great last night...looks like you made up for it this morning though.

Debbie - I wanna know about that vicious ab workout too!!

Toasty - You know I know all about the mental time...hope it helped. I'll check out your pics later...I know you look fab!!

How was the party? As much as you run and do other workouts, you can probably eat 2 whole pizzas and get away with it. You did though, did you???lol.

Hi Lisa! Definately join us here! Believe me, I am no power house wiht the weights LOL! I try though. I usually stick with Cathe WO's too, just sometime mix them together. I only just started doing the weights alone since I am doing a one body part per day rotation, and I don't have too many Cathe DVD's. I just try to step it up when I can.

Dallys- Sarcoidosis is an auto-immune disease. Yes, it can be painful, and annoying!

Marietta- that is a great run. My son loves Pizza Hut, so when we go, I am surely eating pizza too!

Anne- glad you are being smart about that arm!

DS- I hope you enjoyed your sleepy morning. It is nice to do once in a while.

Lora- who do you think Carly should be with, SOnny or Jax? I personally like her with Sonny. Where is Jason??

the workout that made my abs this sore was posted on Monday. This is what it said:

Had a good afternoon to myself. Thanks, Marietta, for you kinds words!

...ab workout for about 20 minutes. I did a bunch of different things:

Leg lifts/knee lifts on power tower - did one of each 5 times and wore 6# ankle weights.

Then I did 2 sets of 5 knee lifts, 5 to the left and 5 to the right for obliques w/ 6# ankle weights. These killed.

Then I did wood chops on my stability ball with 15#. Did 3 sets of 20.

Then I did Hip raises where you have your legs up straight (had my ankle weights on) and you lift your butt off the floor. Did 3 sets of 20 and these really got my lower abs well.

Then I finished off with planks. Wrapped my 6# ankle weights around my waist and did a one minute plank on my elbows and one minute with straight arm. I was wiped out!!!

Charlotte - Excellent pics! You are so defined, it makes me ill! Your legs look good, girl!

Lisa - I started with only Cathe workouts and have been doing them since about 8 weeks ago. I love Cathe's S&H and GS series. Those two series put some major muscle on my body. The last 8 weeks I've been going at it on my own doing a full body rotation I got from the T-Nation website. Its so fun that I'm going to do another 8 weeks once I'm rested pretty good. With this program I have been able to lift heavier and heavier and its such a kick! Please join us, we'd love it if you posted your workouts here! Oh, and I also listen to my own music, made a bunch of kick ass heavy metal mixes that I downloaded. I love them, they are so motivating.

Diane Sue - Your puppy isn't a puppy anymore! LOL! Big dog! I love Great Danes!

Dallys - thats how I'm doing it this time, I opened another screen so I can just scroll down and see what everyone wrote. What a pain!

Today I did GS BSB and CTX Step and Intervals. I love step and Intervals for some reason!!

I feel like I know you all because I have been lurking for a long time but here goes-

Lora-Where are you going on vacation next week? I am jealous I need a vacation!! How are things at your job going? I wanted to post last week because I wanted to tell you how much I respect you for staying put at your job. I am the same as you and I feel that you should not be the one to bring down your boss-what comes around goes around and be true to yourself-we all will get whats coming to us.
I am waiting for your review on Barrys Bootcamp-I have been wondering about that one!!

Anne-I love hardcore extreme!! My favorite is 1 and 2 not to big on 3 though. I love love muscle max have fun with that one today!! Its 47 degrees-where do you live I want to move in with you!!! I love the cold and snow and I am jealous of you all that are going to get it soon!!!

Megadoo-Great job with Imax 2-I love that one its fun and motivating and I never get bored with that workout!! I hope you are feeling better soon!!! I dont know if you saw The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson last week on Ellen but his favorite exercise is on the the ball and you go into a pike position do a push up and release out of the pike!!! Yeah thats why he looks so GOOD!!

Debbie-Great workout!! I know you sell Avon which I LOVE!! I really love the bubble baths and have been waiting to see if they get the pumpkin spice bubble bath this year-my favorite!!!!! I wish I lived near you I could buy my Avon from you!!

Charlotte-185# for squats-holy **** you go girl my hats off to you-I have much respect for you!!! I hate working out lower body and I used to love it but now I use lighter weights and do lower body every day and I get more results for me that way but you have no cellulite on your body-you rock!!!!!!!!! Your pictures speak for themselves-shows what hard work can get ya!!

Dallys-Thank-you for inviting me-I wish I was hardcore but Its so hard when you work fulltime I only have time to get "Cathe as is" in but I am motivated so I will try. Is Carma a rodesian ridgeback (spelling sorry) She is beautiful!!

Diane Sue-I remember seeing pictures of your puppy a long time a ago and I bet she is BIG now!!! So you like Amy Bento? I have not taken the plunge to her videos yet because I saw the video clips from the first set and I was not sure what to think-waiting for the clips for the next set she just filmed though.

Marietta-Thank-you for being so kind!! I am so glad you are posting here again!! I have missed your posts!! Awesome run 4.5 miles!!! I used to run when we lived in Utah-my husband is in the military and we lived on the base and it was safe and I had a great route. We now live in AZ and its too hot to run here!! I should get back into it it used to be nice and relaxing for me I could clear my head when I ran.

You ladies are awesome!!!!!! I can only lift 24 lbs (12 in each arm)
for biceps and I am trying to go up in weight-I cant even match Cathe in that and its frustrating!!! But I know I need to go "off Cathe" and do my own thing and its hard because I love her workouts-I have P90x and hats off to those of you who can do this-I cant stand Tony and the music is Yucky!!! I do like his strengh workouts but I have to make myself do it-his cardio has alot to be desired-just my opinion. I need GOOD music to get me going and he does not deliver that-I know you can turn him off and use your own music but you need to be motivated to do that!!!!
I am so happy today to be off work!!!!!!! Thank-you all for being so kind and inviting!!!

Lisa,

Biceps are hard to work, the muscle is smaller. You will get there. I started with 10# db's. Just do your thing and come and join us here. One day I hope to bench 95# like Debbie does here. We all have dreams and goals and we like to share them too.

Great job Lisa. Yeah, that ball exercise is a killer. Never tried though.

Deb--now I remember---the ankle weights! I so need to get some. Great job.

I did tris from bis and tris. Very much fried. I also did abs from PH and added some hip lifts and oblique twists.

I did a 3.25 mile treadmill run, GS BSB, and Stretch Max with the ball.

Welcome Lisa, I know I dont lift as heavy as some of these women. You do what you can do and you will see results. The main thing is to motivate others to keep working toward their goals.

Lisa, Glad you joined! Yes, Carma is a Rhodeisian Ridgeback. She's a great dog. I follow what Cathe does also. Most the time I can't lift as heavy as she does on Biceps and Chest, but everything else I can lift what she does. I could probably go heavier, but you know, I follow the DVD.;)That's why I like P90X. It helps me pick the weights that are right for me and not what I'm told to use. I've done the BFL workout too, and liked lifting on my own. Sorry you didn't like Tony. It's either you do or you don't with him. You gotta like what you do, that's for sure.

Meg, thanks for explaining what Sarcoidosis is. AMC just started here.:)

Debbie, yeah it's a little easier with another screen open, but still a pain. I also hate that you can't put words in bold or italics or color and stuff like that.

DS, great workout. :)

Wow you guys are awfley chatty today!! Thanks ok I enjoy reading all your posts:)

Track practice was canceled today cuz of puddles on the track. We wree running oustide today cuz the basketball team had practice today too and so then our practice was canceled

Today for me is shoulders and abs. I'm doing kickboxing today for a half hour at the gym. The class is called Kickbox Advance is a great class!

Lora- I don't know why some ppl arn't talkin to ya but always remember I love yea girl;-) Always and forever!

Charlotte- Nice new avatar. Oh that reminds me. My aunt will let me borrow her cam this weekend so I'll almost definaley get pics in by like sunday. I'm really eager for you all to see me and what I can really do because I know its hard for you all to believe the weight I can lift and what I can do at the gym and gymanstics (even though I quit that)

Debbie- Don't cha love it when your muscles hurt so bad the next day that you can't even do one rep for them}(}(}:)+ I love it! My a$$ and outer thigh was sore this morning from the firewalkers I did. But I love it}(

Well just to let everyone know I did great on my quiz today!!! YAYAY I got a 70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have had a 90 but I changed 2 of my answers at the last minute cuz I htought they wre wrong when they were really right. God dammet!!!!!!}( I hate this stupid stuff. I ain't ganna even use friggen history stuff when I'm older anyways!

Lisa - I don't think you should stop doing Cathe's. I'm telling you, I gained A LOT of muscle doing her weight training workouts. I just wanted to do something different because my body was getting use to her workouts. I will eventually get back to them.
