I'll be brief here........just sat down. Ended up working 7 hours and I'm scheduled for almost 40 hours this week and almost all evenings, except for Sat 7:00 am. I'm not feeling very good right now. Super emotional ...TTOTM.....migraine, cramps, etc. My semi-bad foot (fracture) is throbbing and swelled from being on my feet all day and my back is killing me. I have no idea how I'm supposed to get used to all of these different shifts. As I thought, I don't think I'll adjust. I'm too much of a regimented person. I just want to cry, go run and hide or escape some how........but that's not an option and I don't feel strong enough to go on right now. If my hair looked half decent, I wouldn't be ready to crack, but that coupled with job situation and this huge adjustment with it being TTOTM is too much. Sorry if this sounds negative............but I needed to vent to someone, as my DH sure doesn't care. I'm not even going to get to do anything I like ....cuz I'm working Sat and Sun and so there won't be any movies any more. That's one of the only enjoyments I have left in life......besides food. All I have to say is that this job sure is different. I work 4:00 - 10:30 pm tomorrow night. This should be interesting since I never stay up that late! Thanks for listening. I wish my hair would grow back over night! and I wish I could find a good stylist! (whoa....guess that wasn't so brief...LOL)

On a positive note, my new Amy's came ....but my foot hurts so bad right now that I'm not sure I'll be able to do impact in the AM.

Oh - and I worked without anything to EAT All day and only 1 small bottle of water all day. Since I was supposed to only stay 4 hours, I didn't bring any food.....but when it came time for me to leave, the manager said I could stay till 4:00 and I need the $$$....so..
 
Suz - sorry.....yes, I got the CD........I thought you'd catch it when I said I did it one day last week. Sorry I wasn't thoughtful enough to mention it..........my mind is sort of warped lately.
 
Lora, it was only your first day I am sure you will make some adjustments. Sorry your foot has started hurting that really stinks. Wish my Amys would come as I am pretty sure I was one of the first to order. Not eating probably did not help your feelings either. You know yesterday my heel was throbbing and I had worn the Saucony crosstrainers all day. I put on my Mizunos for my workout and wore my Crocs RX all day and it has improved greatly. I find that sort of odd. I have had a migraine all day too. Miserable since I just spent the evening with dh at a work event. At least you have plenty of time in the mornings to do your workouts:) You may just have to try and work a little later sleep in at night.

Lora - I'm sorry you had such a sucky day. :( I wondered how you would do with all of the standing. But you're a MANIAC so hopefully you will adjust to it. I bet after a bit you'll start to like it. After all, you weren't prepared for such a long day, it's TTOM, you hate your hair, you didn't have ANY food. What can you expect? And I'm sure that you'll get one day during the weekend where you will have time during the day to go to the movies - where you'll either work earlier or later. Hang in there. Don't give up. Last week I wasn't reading as many posts so I missed where you did CC #7. Did you like it? You ARE thoughtful. :)

I was just checking the thing where it shows who's logged on or whatever and it shows that Debbie or someone using her account was logged on two hours ago. Is she messin' with us on Halloween???

ETA: I normally don't check that but I am kinda worried about her.

I know when I get a bad hair cut, it will bother me for a long time. I get what your saying. I have days when some things bother me ALOT more then they would on another day....like yesterday;-) I actually felt sick to my stomach thinking I don't have a job now...how to pay bills. Everything will turn out fine though. You will adapt as you always have one way or another. Lora always finds a way to get what Lora truly wants. Charlotte does too.;-) :p

You know everytime I start to feel that sick feeling about the way things are going I point out to myself that no matter what, they always work themselves out. Stressing over it does not help anything.


Lora, as far as hair, I just did that. Family said maybe I should go back. I didn't. It seems to be styling better now. Still not nearly the hairstyle I took to the salon. Very little layering. I do understand that because I have very thin hair she did not want to go to heavy on the layering. She put a few in the front. I think if it would have been as short as the picture it would have been ok with all of the layers. Not sure why she was afraid to cut off the length. She was an upper level stylist in the salon. I will try again in awhile. I bet you figure out what you need to do to make it a satisfying style. It does grow out pretty quickly. Just did another order from Lush. Speaking of hair have you tried their haircare products??

Your absolutely right. I know better. Stressing really can age one too. Why do I do it then? ((((kicking myself)))) lol.

gonna go watch some more horror movies. I enjoy the dramatic screaming and the sexy vampires.

Today's legs workout:

Leg Press: 3x15x140. Stable from last week.

Leg Extension: 15x75, 15x80, 12x85. Gained :) I am getting stronger on these

Laydown Leg Curls: 3x15x55. Stable

Standing Calf Raises: 2x15x130, 12x130. Up 20lbs from last week :)

Char - I think kicking yourself will age you too! :p Enjoy the screaming movies. Glad to hear Debbie is okay.

With this wild hair you all have NO IDEA how many stressful, crazy days I've had in my life. NO IDEA! I wonder how much I've aged??? Yikes!

Thank you Charlotte! I need to add more pics to my pic trail. I still feel so good about my WO today! My tris are starting to hurt already LOL! Can't wait to WO tomorrow!!! I love this!

Only had 3 pieces of candy tonight. ANd that was really to try to warm up! We were on a hay ride with 11 kiddos! 8 adults. It was fun!

FREAK! I have 1 AND 1/2 bags of candy left! COSTCO SIZE FOR REFERENCE (bulgeing eyeball smiley)! Snikers, Baby Ruth, Crunch, M&M's, Almond Joy, Milky Way, Hersheys, etc (all the good ones!). I'm telling all the little monsters to take handfuls! But, they have such tiny little hands. LOL!! Maybe the big "teenage" monsters will show up soon. You all know that I'll eat it... Duh!

Charlotte, that pull up station looks great. I bet you get a really good workout using it too. I thought you picture of what happens when you eat fast food was so funny LOL

Think I need to drag my carb filled body off to bed so I can dream of chocolate LOL Tomorrow will definitely be a long cardio after my indulgence.
