Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for June, 2015

Today I did Cardio Coach 1. Was really tired this morning and didn't want to do another 4 mile workout so I chose that one. Was perfect for how I felt. Love that workout.

Total time was 36 minutes, ran 2.25 miles (Fitbit showed 2.38 miles) and burned 248 calories.

It was hot here yesterday, too. Finally, I'm not complaining!!!!!

Today I did Low Impact Series Total Body Tri sets upper body split, 56 minutes, 217 calories. I then did Butts and Guts Bonus Stability Ball abs, 16 minutes, 41 calories. I finished off with Les Mills Pump Flow, 20 minutes, 42 minutes. Total time was 92 minutes and calories burned was 300. I don't think my HR monitor was doing to well today. I swear I had to have burned more than that in that amount of time. I worked hard. Funny thing was I was doing concentration curls and thought that 20 is pretty heavy. I got through the set and realized I had used a 25. :)

Debbie, that was a good calorie burn for that amount of time. That is interesting that the Fit Bit has your mileage different.

Today I did STS Meso 1, Disc 3 - Legs. Had a pretty good workout but had to be real careful due to my knees. They didn't like the lunges much and there were a lot of lunges in this one. I just used no weights or very light weights and did good with it. I certainly felt it. I did to bonus leg work as well.

Diane Sue - Wow on the 25# for concentration curls. Nice job!!!

Roselyn - How are you doing STS? Are you following it from the beginning or adding different things in to mix it up?

Today's workout in the rotation was Low Impact Challenge. I did X Train All Out Low Impact Hiit mix, Step and disc stopping at the stretch, 20 minutes, 123 calories, followed by Low Impact Challenge mix 3, all combos, blast, all combos, blast 40 minutes, 294 calories. I like that mix, it seems I get my HR up more with it. I finished off with Chalean Extreme Dynamic Flow Yoga, 38 minutes, 124 calories. Total time was 98 minutes and calories burned 541. Tomorrow Low Impact Series Afterburn in on the schedule.

Debbie, the rotation I have has me doing Mesocycle 1 week 2 Legs. I should look at it. I have to be careful with lunges. For some reason reverse lunges can sometimes make the knee that had the torn meniscus hurt.

Roselyn. was that one of the Ab Circuits Hiit workouts.

Today I did Afterburn 54 minutes, 361 calories. I then did Pyramid abs only 8 minutes , 35 calories, followed by Core Max workout 2 roll ins, oblique roll ins, and jacknife on the ball, and Core Max 3, 22 minutes, 78 calories. I finished with STS Extended Stretch. Total time was 99 minutes and calories 509.

Good morning!! Today I did STS Meso 1, Disc 4, Chest, Shoulders & Biceps. Had a great workout. Chose not to do all those dang push-ups she does through this workout. I did flyes or press instead. Can't stand doing push-ups constantly. Ridiculous.

Diane Sue - I need to do Pyramid abs. I remember that was a hard one but I love the jack-knife on the ball. i always felt those.

Hope you all have great workouts!!!

Today I started my workout with Kelly Coffey Slim Sculpting Core/abs mix doing the warm up through the part where she drops to the floor. 15 minutes, 56 calories. I then did STS disc 1 Week 1 Meso 1, with the STS Extended Stretch, 65 minutes, 238 calories. Total time was 80 minutes, calories 294 calories.

Debbie, those jack-knifes on the ball are good :0 I am not sure which workout seems tougher though Pyramid abs or STS stability ball abs :) Lots of push ups for me today too.

Today I did a cardio coach mix on my treadmill. This one was a Candace mix from her CC#6 and Run Fit workouts. I had a great workout and was sweating buckets. Love this mix but it's tough.

Workout was 62 minutes, ran 4.43 miles (Fitbit), 4 miles (treadmill) - not sure why such a difference? Burned 432 calories. Almost have all my steps in already and it's only 10.

Today I did P90X3 Cold Start for an extra warm up, 12 min. 35 cal., STS disc 6 legs meso 1 week 2, 56 minutes, 327 calories. I finished with P90X3 Pilates 30 min., 93 calories. Total time was 98 minutes and calories burned 355.

Debbie, nice job getting most of your steps in already. :)

No workout for me today, although I may get on my treadmill and walk for a couple miles later. I had an early morning appointment so I didn't want to get up early to workout. I'll probably get on my treadmill later, though.

Have a great one everyone!!

Did 3 miles on my treadmill. Just a fast inclined walk. Felt great, I was being really lazy today. Made myself get on it, made my 10k steps and now I feel great!!!

Today my legs are so sore. I guess I really worked them yesterday. I had to do extra warming up and rolling before I started my workout. I did Afterburn which is on the schedule, 54 minutes, 357 calories, max hr was 161. I don't see how they got over 500 calories on the workout manager. I then did Ripped with Hiit Abs #1, 10 minutes, 51 calories. My workout was 64 minutes and calories 408. I was dragging my feet this morning. I was feeling pretty bad all day yesterday and hardly slept. I think it is my allergies. My throat itches and I can't stop coughing. I ended up propping up my pillow and it kept fleeing behind the headboard.
Tomorrow is STS back and biceps meso 1 week 2. I think that is what is on that one.

Debbie, nice work getting in 3 miles. You were not lazy at all :)

Today I did Meso 1, Disc 5 - Back & Triceps. Had a great workout. Skipped the last set of pullups because just like in the chest workout with pushups, she does way too many of these.

Tomorrow is supposed to be Disc 6, Legs, but I think I'll do a short Cardio Coach and then do some ab work. I haven't done ab work since BB so I need to get something in.

Diane Sue - LOL! I was lazy yesterday up to that point.

Roselyn - Nice job on Disc 6!! The leg workouts are killer.

Today was STS disc 5 meso 1 , week 2, 58 minutes. I followed it with P90X3 yoga, 30 minutes. I am still sore from the STS leg workout this week. I am glad that there is no weights involved in tomorrow's workout.

Debbie, it looks like we did the same workout. At least on this one there was not a whole bunch of pull ups done back to back. I think one of the workouts I did recently had 3 sets in succession at the start. Isn't it meso 3 where there is no push ups?

Roselyn, those legs are tough.
