Belinda - Great job with our workout!! Hope you are feeling better now that the jet lag should be gone.

Jolie - Bummer on your laptop! I'm glad to know your mom is doing ok, hope she continues to get better. We are having ham for dinner, as always. Stuffing, potatoes, bean casserole. The same ol' same ol'. I have been eating a lot too, lately. I will tighten that up once the New Year hits.

Roxie - I had a Trax once. I liked it a lot when I first got it. Mine never got that warm in the winter, though. It took forever to heat up and would finally get warm by the time I got to work. It was also too small for what I needed. I have a lot of stuff to haul around for my events and so I bought an Escape instead. Now I have the Lincoln Nautilus which is getting fixed right now. Had it three weeks and someone hit the passenger side of it. I was so pissed. Have no clue where it even happened. Great job with your workout!

Diane - Wow, great getting some workouts in even though you have been so busy!! Glad you are doing ok and hope you had fun with your family for Christmas.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Hi,

Today I did 2 hours live zoom belly dance class plus Pilates to Release Shoulders and Neck Tension. I am done for today.

Debbie - I am feeling a lot better. Great job with your workout. I also have to lighten up on the food.

Jolie - I am glad to hear your mom is doing better. I will make a small turkey and German potato ball ( I brought those from Germany).

Diane - glad you doing ok and getting your workouts in. It‘s hard getting your workouts in and having all those family gatherings. DH, Sadie and I alone for Xmas, lol. I am taking it easy. Hopefully the weather is good so I can get a nice walk in.

Roxie - great job on your workout.

Today I did the first 30 minutes of CDorner #500 step and then switched to her Fast Basic Step skipping the warm up for a total of 61 minutes, 320 calories, 4,510 steps, heart rate 117/149. The 500 step one was fast and had lots of cross behinds over the step and turns and my knee was not liking it much. I then did CDorner Neck and Back Stretch 30 minutes, 52 calories. Total time 91 minutes, 372 calories. I thought my heart rate was never going to get up today. I think Garmin is not working right. I wear it at night, and it shows me hardly resting at all, mostly stress lines and this morning it showed no deep sleep at all. Not the usual readings. It has been off the last few days.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Strength 1 cardio acceleration. I hate it when people leave dents in my car. My Chevy Spark had a dent for years that someone did right after I got it. My husband took it in not long ago and had all of the dents fixed. I have a lot of things going on and just take time off when needed. Friday I see the arthritis doctor again so no workout. It generally takes me 3 hours there, labs etc, and home.

Belinda, good job on the 2 hours of Belly dancing zoom class and pilates to relieve shoulders and neck tension. My husband will be working Christmas, and I am sure I will just be relaxing that evening or cleaning house part of it.

Roselyn, nice work on shoulders today.

Jolie, I am sorry to hear your mother's health is not so good. I will keep her in my prayers. I have a tendency to buy stuff to cook up some healthy meals but end up living off of easy stuff like a protein shake and some fruit or a tuna sandwich. Things that do not require much work. Nothing special here on Christmas. I will probably make myself some homemade soup or something. Since our Christmas was early, I am really tired of goodies. My granddaughter made me some amazing sourdough bread with Christmas tree designs in the crust.

Roxie, nice work on Raw Kettlebell Kickboxing. I liked the one in her dvd set. I have not picked up my kettlebells in a long time other than use them instead of dumbbells for lunges or squats. I am not sure if I should swing them with my back issues.

This morning I did a fun one and one I don't think I've ever done before. It was 30MTF TLC Workout #1. It was really fast, I tried to use my egg weights but it felt way too fast for that. My HR got up there. It was fun.

Workout was 31 minutes, burned 262 calories, did 3778 steps and HR was 138/169.

Belinda - Wow on the 2 hour belly dance class! That sounds exhausting! LOL!!

Roselyn - Great job on your workouts recently. Kicking it!!

Diane - I'm not much of a step aerobic fan anymore. I remember loving Cathe's step workout, especially Step Blast. That was my all time favorite. Scares me to get on the step anymore, I am so uncoordinated!! Yep, it's rude when someone hits someone and doesn't leave any information. Ridiculous. Great job on your workouts!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi,

Today I did CL# 510 Butts & Guts plus Pilates Hips & core.

Debbie - one of the belly dance was a practice for our Christmas party on Sunday (to the song Deck the Halls) the other was arms/isolations all upper body. Great job on your workout this morning.

Diane - like Debbie I am not a fan of step aerobic anymore. I used to love it. My knees can‘t handle the impact anymore. You should relax and watch movies on Christmas. We are taking it easy after our Germany vacation. My kids already planning next year Christmas vacation, lol. As long as it‘s in the US.

Today I did CDorner Dance Hiit 42 minutes, 244 calories, heart rate 122/164, 3,769 steps followed by Jessica Valant 5 minute upper back and 5 minute lower back stretch + 5 minutes of CDorner mobility, 15 minutes, 39 calories. I would have done some more weight work, but I had a lot of back and shoulder pain last night along with my knee. Even my ribs were hurting again last night. All I did yesterday was cardio and stretching. I will wait.

Debbie, great job on 30 Minutes to Fitness TLC #1. I have the dvd with Train Like a Contender. I have not done that one in years. I love step workouts. When I had the torn meniscus around 2013 I had to watch the cross back and forth with one leg over the step. It always set the pain back up. Now I just step off side to side no cross back and no twisting my knee moving around the end of the step. I automatically change some of the moves. Chris does not really do jumping on and off the step or anything like that.

Belinda, good job on CL# 510 Butts & Guts plus Pilates Hips & core. I still love step workouts but do need to not make it a daily thing or my knees start talking to me. My Garmin keeps telling me I am getting hardly any rest and that maybe I need to take some time to rest. According to the Garmin I am not spending much time resting when I go to bed at night. I suppose because I hurt and cannot get comfortable and cough.

Rosselyn, nice work on leg day.

This morning I did RAW Box & Tone and had a great workout. This one didn't have weights in it and she doesn't even use egg weights but I did. It was a combo of boxing moves and some lower body exercises. Most of them burned. Then I got on my treadmill and walked for a few.

Total workout was 43 minutes, burned 275 calories, went. .57 miles, did 4318 steps and HR was 126/159.

Belinda - The belly dance for your Christmas party sounds fun. I'm sure you will have a blast!

Roselyn - Great job on legs.

Diane - Sorry you are having pain again! Dang, why is that happening? I'm sure you are beyond frustrated with it all. Yea, I noticed Chris doesn't really very high intensity moves which is good. I'm glad Kelly doesn't either. Hope you are feeling better today.

Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!! Two more days and I'm off for Christmas break until Jan. 5!! Woohoo!!! And I got my Nautilus back yesterday. It looks wonderful!!

Today I did CDorner Cardio Aerobics to the beat. 42 minutes, 277 calories, heart rate 133/167, 4,767 steps. This was kind of fun. I finished with Caroline Jordan Stretch to Lower Blood Pressure and Butt exercise for Bad Knees 21 minutes, 47 calories. She makes me crazy with her overly chatty encouragement. Not sure how to explain it. At least I have not got ads in her workouts. Total time was 63 minutes, 324 calories.

Debbie, good job on Raw Box and Tone and the treadmill this morning. I bet you are looking forward to the Christmas break. I keep hoping things will get better. Chris does some killer leg workouts and sometimes when she does a Hiit workout they are pretty tough. Lately though she has done some not so hard Hiit workouts.

Good morning,

Sorry I didn’t check in yesterday. I did 2 hours Belly dance and Pilates with the broomstick. Got a nice stretch in with the broomstick. Such a handy tool.

Diane - I am so sorry you in so much pain again. I am wondering what is causing it? Maybe you should do lighter workouts to give your body a break, like light stretching. Take your tracker advice, lol. You probably need to rest.

Debbie - I am excited for Sunday Xmas party. It sounds like a lot of fun. Plus we get to know all the members. Trying to catch up after 3 weeks on vacation wasn‘t smart. Great job on your workouts.

I will be back later.

So we were supposed to get some really bad weather this morning and I was hoping we'd be able to work from home. I rolled the dice and decided to get up later and hopefully be able to workout later if I was able to work from home. Well, we didn't get the weather as bad as they forecasted (big surprise there) so I had to go into work. Needless to say, I didn't workout. I'm ok with that.

Diane - Great job with your workout yesterday. I wish I could get more into Chris's workouts I just HATE all the chatter and weird laughing she does when someone posts throughout her workouts. I wish she didn't do that. Some of her aerobic workouts look fun but all that chatting really turns me off. Oh well.

Belinda - Great job on your workout!! Sounds like fun!

Have a great weekend everyone!! Looking forward to the end of today. Woo hoo!

No workout today. I got through my rheumatologist appointment. He gave me another med to try and he said if this one did not work we would look into biologics. They are quite expensive though. My daughter keeps telling me they work well. He asked if I wanted a steroid injection to help till the med works, but I do not want to do that. It is bad for the bones. I have been using the newer collagens with fortegel, tendoforte, etc for joints. I saw today that Vital Proteins is now putting out some. Right now I am using one called Salt Wrap which is a product used in the Book Broke From Broken. I really trust Vital Proteins as they are for sure 3rd party tested. Salt Wrap claims tested but does not have this all on the container. They get the collagen from Germany.

Belinda, good job on the 2 hours of belly dancing and stretch with a broom stick. I am glad it was a good stretch for you. They had me using a stick for some moves when I did PT after shoulder surgery. It helped me get more range of motion back. Today it is my neck, shoulders, and upper back bothering me. My knee is better. I woke up way too early before my appointment and used the heating pad before I left.

Debbie, I am sorry things did not work out for you staying at home. Maybe you needed the rest day. I don't mind Chris chatter all that much. The one thing that bugs though is that she answers those people that keep typing stuff while she is doing the workout and then other times, she tells them to stop because they are not doing the workout if they are typing. Doing the workouts repeatedly when instructors talk, means you keep having to hear the same stories over again. If I could do kickboxing more, I would be doing a lot more Kelly workouts. And Caroline keeps telling you how much she loves working out with you. I am looking forward to Cathe's new workouts. I wish I had purchased the downloads too.

Man, I am just not into working out lately. I don't get it. I never felt this way before. Anyways, I did get a good workout in, nonetheless. I started with 30MTF Total Body Workout 1 which was a kickboxing workout. It's a fun one. And then I got on my treadmill and walked for about 32 minutes.

Total workout was 62 minutes, burned 471 calories, did 1.45 miles on the treadmill, went a total of 6682 steps and HR was 135/165.

Now I'm getting ready to paint a door and some trim for my new kitchen. I should be able to move my stuff from my old kitchen into my new kitchen this week. I'm so excited!! My husband did all the work and it is state of the art.

Great job with your workouts this weekend! Hope you all have a great one today too!!!

Hi,

My aunt in Canada passed away yesterday :( I couldn‘t log on to zoom for the virtual Xmas party. I was so bummed.

Today I did a 40 min full body foam roller + weight workout. That was a good workout using the foam roller, I am complete worked out.

Debbie - how exciting! Enjoy your new kitchen. That is so cool your husband did everything. He is a keeper. Great job on the workout. I think December is a busy month for most, it‘s probably why you are not into working out. Just do lighter workouts like walking.

Diane - great job on your Pilates.

I will be back tomorrow.
