Hardcore Fitness Maniacs December 2025!

Hi,

We got home around 11 pm, I didn‘t get to bed before midnight. Woke up at the crack of dawn, just couldn‘t sleep. Suitcases are empty and everything is put away.I did a live belly dance. I didn‘t do the intermediate class. I am to burned out. Than I wanted to do short Pilates class to loosen up my hips/legs. Now I could take a nap.

Debbie - when we landed in Atlanta, people are so rude that work at the airport. TSA rushes you too the scanners like crazy, I ended up leaving my backpack behind. I noticed once we went to concourse, had to return. I put a small water bottle in the backpack for Sadie. They waited for me to be present so they could open the backpack. I told the TSA lady I forgot to take the water bottle out, it was Sadie‘s water. She tested it for explosives…than handed me the water bottle for Sadie. She didn‘t had to do that, it was nice she gave me the water bottle which was not open. Great job on your workout.

I will be back tomorrow.

Sunday- rest day visited my mom
Monday- 3 mile walk which was hard because my ankle hurts. I have an appointment with my Chiro on Friday to get it adjusted.
Today- Cathe's STS Meso 1 Disc #4 Chest, Shoulders and Biceps

Yesterday I did CDorner Old School aerobics Low Impact 31 minutes, 191 calories., heart rate 127/154 heart rate, 3,688 steps. I finished with Jessica Valant Back Stretch, 11 minutes,19 calories. I was in a hurry because I had a lot to get done since I hosted my ladies group Christmas gathering. I did lots of baking. No workout today.
 
Well, this morning I started out doing RAW Tabata Boxing and I don't know what it is with this workout, but I have started it like three times and was never able to finish the workout. I either ran out of time or something else. Well, this morning my internet went out right in the middle of this workout. WTF?? So I hopped on my treadmill and just finished on that.

Total workout time was 46 minutes, burned 289 calories, went 1.46 miles on the treadmill, did 4670 steps and HR was 121/159. Frustrating.

Belinda - How frustrating at the airport. OMG. I'm glad I don't travel much. I went to Italy once to see my relatives with my mom and dad but that was back in the 80's when travelling was fun. The restrictions they have now are understandable but really irritating for everyone.

Jolie - Great job keeping up with your workouts!

Diane - You must be busy lately! Nice job with your workouts. Hope you had fun with your ladies group. How have you been feeling lately?

Today I did CDorner Hiit all Standing 28 minutes, heart rate 117/140, 153 calories, 1,843 steps, light dumbbells. I then did Lift Move Restore Barre Fusion, 48 minutes, heart rate 94/135, 125 calories, finished with CDorner Post Workout Stretch 24 minutes, 46 calories. Total time was 1 hour 40 minutes, 324 calories. I may not be working out Friday if we can get my husband's Bronco in for a recall. We have some other stops we need to make as well.

Belinda, traveling sounds rather miserable to me. It has been years since we have flown anywhere. I hope you got some rest and feel more yourself today.

Jolie, nice job on Cathe's Meso 1 back and triceps Day 2 and Meso 1 chest shoulders and biceps, along with a walk day and a day with your mother. I hope she is continuing to get better.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Tabata Boxing and finishing with the treadmill. It is frustrating when the internet goes out in the middle of a workout. Things have been busy, and we are doing Christmas at my daughter's this Sunday. I am not getting enough rest and am tired. I think I did something this last week that set off my neck pain with some of the new moves. I am thinking maybe getting the face pulls at the right height with the tubing and doing it correctly. At first it felt like I was working into the traps. Ladies group was fun. We did the gift thing where you can steal other's gifts and Christmas bingo gifts. Lots of snacks. I ate way to many sweets. I feel blah! today.

Roselyn, good job on cardio abs day.
 
This morning was a weight day and of course I had no plan on what I was going to do. So I was going through Kelly's 2025 workouts and saw RAW 21's Strength and thought I'd give it a try. It was just ok and some of the moves felt dangerous. I did her weights at first and then dropped. She does 3 sets, I ony did 2. I feel like such a wimp anymore. :(

3 sets (I did 2) - 21 reps (just like Cathe does 21's with biceps)

Elevated Deadlifts: 20's/15's
Elevated Goblet Squats: 30#/20#
Shoulder Press: 12's/10's - Kelly uses 15's, not sure how she did that!

One Arm Row: 20# (I hate one arm rows, I wish she'd find a different type of back exercise to do in her workouts)
Plie Squats: 20#
Knee Lifts (Abs)

I added:

Bicep Curls: 12's
Chest Press: 15's
Hammer Curls: 12's

This was a burner, the 21's using different muscle groups was interesting. I might do this one again, it wasn't horrible. I just felt it was a bit much for my low back with the deads.

Workout was 42 minutes, burned 225 calories and HR was 109/133.

Roselyn - Great job on cardio and abs!!

Diane - Great job with you workout. I'm sorry you aren't getting much sleep, I know how that feels. Lately I've been getting good sleep as the cats are behaving now. Yes, it is frustrating when the internet goes out but the weird thing was, it didn't. Everything else worked fine, it was just my TV in my workout room. It was ok today. Glad you had fun with your ladies group, sounds like a good time!!

I did portions of some CDorner workouts for 24 minutes, 106 calories. One was a dance workout with hip hop music and too much twisting my knees around and called All I want for Christmas- lil Jon (I have no clue who Lil Jon is) So, I tried 20-minute Hiit Step and stopped during the warmup walking in and out on the hands. I finally went to LMR timesaver functional mobility warm up and bonus Low Impact Cardio, 21 minutes, 124 calories and finished with Jessica Valant 5-minute upper back stretch and 5-minute lower back stretch, 12 minutes, 20 calories.

Debbie, good job on Raw 21's. I am more careful than I used to be with the pressure put on the spine. I don't go very far down with deadlifts. Just enough to feel it in my hamstrings and not so much low back.
I kept getting a crazy colored tv screen like neon green and pink and sometimes unviewable. We bought a new television hooked it up and I got the same thing. It ended up being the Fire Stick so the tv was not broken after all.

Sorry for not checking in yesterday, I fell asleep :( I did Pilates UB and belly dance. Today I did pilates abs for 30 min plus another belly dance. We are learning to dance to a Christmas’s song. So cute!

Starting next week I will start Cathe Live again. I miss her. My shoulder/biceps are not getting any better. I will see how it goes next week. I feel like I am falling apart.

Diane - sorry you are not getting any sleep.Jet lag is kicking my butt. I traveled to Germany 3 years ago, no problem. Not sure what is going on? Maybe people are missable during Christmas. I am fine during the day, around 6 pm I fall sleep, lol. Hopefully in a few day‘s I am my old self again.

Debbie - things changed since you flown. People are so rude and not friendly at all anymore. There where a few that were nice. I do understand all the restrictions.

Well this morning I did RAW Tabata Boxing and was finally able to do the entire workout. It is a good one, I like it and the music (sort of). This is a 30 minute workout so when I was done I walked on my treadmill for a time.

Total workout was 47 minutes, burned 345 calories, went .74 miles on the treadmill, did 4103 steps and HR was 131/162.

I seriously need to stop eating so much. I am hungry ALL THE TIME. And I am choosing bad things to eat, especially here at work when everyone brings in cookies and chocolates. My will power to like gone. WTF?? Makes me mad. I need to pull myself together and stop doing this. I feel miserable, too, because of the crap food I am eating.

Diane - Great job with your workout! I HATE workouts that have the warmup doing the walking on your hands. I just don't do that anymore. That is so strange about your TV. Wow, too bad you had to buy a new one for no reason. Did you have to replace the Firestick?

Belinda - Sorry to hear about your shoulders and biceps. Damn, that is frustrating!! Hope it gets better soon. How have your knees been doing? Nice job on your workouts!

Debbie - I really don‘t know what is going on with my shoulder/biceps. My right knee is very swollen for the last few weeks. I can‘t get the swelling down. It‘s from the flight and lots of walking. It‘s just my right knee. I am icing it, put creams on it. I am trying to avoid taking meds. Glad you enjoyed your workout and music.
