Hardcore Fitness Maniacs December 2025!

This morning I was wide awake after some great sleeping lately. It helps a lot to put our cat in his own room where we can't hear him. This morning I did RAW Heavy Bag/Shadow Boxing (w/Zach) and had an excellent workout. Getting sort of tired of this workout but it is still my favorite boxing workout.

Workout was 39 minutes, burned 320 calories, did 2600 steps and HR was 138/175.

My doctor finally got my blood pressure under control and I feel so much better. My BP last night was 117/74. That is really low for me but so far no dizzy spells.

Great workouts since thanksgiving everyone!!

Jolie - Wow on your mom, that is truly amazing!! I can't even imagine the emotional roller coaster you all have been on.

Belinda - Happy Anniversary! How many years??

Have a great day everyone!!

I am working from home today because we got a butt-ton of snow. It's pretty but I'm already done with this cold weather. This morning I did RAW Kickbox Contouring. Had a pretty good workout. This one is fun and I felt it.

This workout alternates between shadow boxing, kickboxing and an upper and lower body weight segment. She says it's 1 minute intervals but it's more like 1 min. and 10 seconds. It's too long in my opinion. The exercises seem to go on forever.

This is how it went:

Boxing: 2# hand weights
Kickboxing (Lower body KB moves): 2# hand weights
Push/Press: 12's
Side to Side Lunges: 12#

Boxing: 2# hand weights
Kickboxing (Lower body KB moves: no weights
Hammer Curls: 12's
Alternate Kickstand Deadlifts: 12's

Boxing: 2# hand weights
Kickboxing (lower body KB moves): no weights
Bend & Row: 12's
Goblet Squats: 15#

Boxing: 2# hand weights
Kickboxing (Lower body KB moves): no weights
Chest Flies: 12's
Skull Crusher into Sit-Up: 12's

Boxing Finisher: 2# hand weights
Pulse Squats
Boxing Finisher: 2# hand weights

Workout was 45 minutes, burned 339 calories, did 2494 steps and HR was 132/163.

Hope you all have a great day and workouts!!!

Evening,

I got a lot of steps in yesterday. It was my kids last day in Germany, we went last minute Christmas markets and buying gifts for families. DH and I decided to stay with my sisters in Nürnberg. We spent a few day‘s with my younger sister than my older sister. We had so much snow in Garmisch we didn‘t wanted to risk getting caught up in bad weather. Nürnberg is cold, no snow. My knees are so swollen from walking so much, we took it easy today. Not sure what we will do tomorrow? My sister took some time off work so we can hang out and talk.

This evening I did a Empowering Pilates (to strengthen your upper back, improve posture, and create better alignment.)

The time change is throwing me off with the live workouts. Tomorrow is a 7 am Pilates live class, I hope I can make it.

Debbie - 43 years. We had a great time, we had a lot of fun hanging out with our kids yesterday. Glad your blood pressure is under control.

Good night.

Belinda, happy anniversary. 43 years is awesome. I wondered how your knees would hold out with all of the walking. It sounds like you are having a lot of fun. Nice work on Empowering pilates to strengthen upper back. The time change would be difficult.

Roselyn, nice work on leg day and back to work day;) . It has been cold here, but no snow.

Debbie, good job on Raw Kickbox Contouring today and yesterday's Raw Heavy Bag/ Shadow boxing. That is great that your doctor helped get your blood pressure down. I use Super Beets with CoQ10 blood pressure. It helps, but the one without CoQ10 did not work as well. Mine was up a couple of days. I think because I am drinking more coffee since it has been cold.

Well, last night my BP was back up in the 150's. This morning it's in the 135's. I just don't get it. I am taking my BP meds twice a day and am also on Hydrochlorothiazide, which I was hoping would help. It did there for a while, I was at 114/66 the other night. I'm not sure why nothing can bring my BP down.

This morning I got on my treadmill and walked for a good while. I just didn't feel like doing anything too strenuous, just feeling blah today.

Workout was 41 minutes, burned 284 calories, went 2 miles, did 4816 steps and HR was 121/144.

Belinda - Sorry to hear your knees are bothering you. Wow! 43 years, that is a feat in this day and age!! Congrats on that! Glad you are away from all that snow!!

Roselyn - Great job with back work.

Diane - Great job with your workouts. Was the CDorner Old School cardio workout fun? Was the music "great"? LOL!! I might try it but if it's a lot of jumping, nope.

Jolie - I hope your mom is still recovering and can go back home soon.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Afternoon,

Cold with snow on the ground haven’t driven my new car since Saturday boo. I did Raw Heavy Up & Move trying to get back at since the whole Black Friday thing is over and I can breathe a litte.

Roxie, nice work on Raw Heavy Up and Move.

Debbie, good job on the treadmill walk. I know how frustrating blood heaving pressure up when doing all of the right things. I hope you can get it to stay down. The CDorner workout did have good music and was low impact and felt rather easy to me. You would probably like it.

Good morning,

I am still keeping up with Pilates in the evenings. That is the only time I have to get something in. We are constantly doing something during the day. I didn‘t get the live class in at 7 am. Like I said, I do get a OnDemand in in the evenings. I also get in a lot of steps. We are staying with my younger sister until tomorrow than stay with my older sister until we leave on Monday.

Yesterday I did a posture/lower body workout. Today I will do a full body workout in the evening.

Diane - thank you! My sisters are my age, we are taking it easier than running around with my kids. Nice job on your workouts.

Debbie - thank you! We are away from all that snow, its so cold here. Great job on your workout.

This morning I did RAW Box & Pump 4. I had a good workout. Felt like I didn't get enough sleep but actually slept through the night. Weird.

Deadlifts: 12's
Boxing Segment: 1.5# Egg weights

Dumbbell Curl Pulses/Pledges: 12's
Squat/Fold/Deadlift Up: 12's
Boxing Segment: 1.5# Egg weights

Overhead Press: 12's
Reverse Lunges: 12's

Plie Squats: 12#
Boxing Segment: 1.5# Egg weights

Kickbacks: Skipped due to time
Standing Glute Pulses: Burners!!

I skipped one of the minute rests because I was running out of time and had to skip the kickbacks as well. I hate kickbacks so no issue there. LOL

Workout was 47 minutes, burned 358 calories, did 3370 steps and HR was 133/176.

Roxie - What kind of car did you get? I just purchased a 2023 Lincoln Nautilus and it has already been hit on the side. Need to get my back door replaced. Don't even know where it happened. Not happy. Great job on your workout.

Diane - Nice job getting a workout in. Thanks for the workout link, I may try it tomorrow or next week. I need something different. Getting tired of boxing.

Belinda - It's great that you are still getting some workouts in. I don't know how you do it. I certainly wouldn't be. LOL!! Your time there is coming to a fast end. Enjoy every minute of it!

Jolie - How's your mom doing?

Have a great day everyone!!

By the grace of God, I think my mom will recover! I am not sure if it will be 100 percent but pretty close. I rolled my ankle yesterday walking the dog and slipping off a curb, I thought it was broken. It is bruised today but not as bad as I thought it would be. I used my red-light therapy on it for 3 hours and it is so much better today. I could not stand on it last night and today I am walking around but limping. I hope to be back in the gym by this weekend on a somewhat regular schedule if all goes well. I have NO muscle left but I do have a MOM! The scar on the top of her head is insane. She is talking, eating, drinking and has a sense of humor. She is going to try to stand up today, yesterday she was too weak. I pray her legs get some muscle back in them soon with physical therapy.

Great job on the workouts everyone! I wonder if I can still pull off Christmas. I am so far behind, but I think I have enough time to buy some gifts and all the other stuff.

Yesterday, I did Caroline Jordan Osteoporosis abs and Osteoporosis Upper Body, 21 minutes, 68 calories. I then did LMR Total Body Timesaver upper and core skipping the core and a couple of moves because this has upper lower combos and my knee is bothering me. This was 40 minutes since I added some of Jessica Valant scoliosis work I have downloaded. Total time spent was 61 minutes, 189 calories. We have an appointment tomorrow for eye exam so I need to get to bed.

Jolie, that is amazing that your mother is doing better. Prayers for her as she gets up and walks and that she gains her strength back.

Today I did The warm up mobility moves from the Book Built from Broken I have been going through. I downloaded the work sheets and saved the video clip moves. I didn't remember to turn on my Garmin for this. I then did CDorner Basic Step from 2 days ago 45 minutes, 273 calories, 4002 steps, heart rate 128/155. I followed with Jessica Valant Knee pain, Full Body Pilates for 17 minutes( I thought I started knee strength which was the video after pilates) stopped when I wondered how what I was doing helped knees, and went to the knee strength that was only about 12 minutes. The time spent for this was 39 minutes. Total time 84 minutes, 71 calories. Total time was 84 minutes, 344 calories.

Roselyn, nice work on getting in cardio hiit kickboxing. It is fun spending time with the grandchildren.
