This morning I did Bowflex and free weights (my Bowflex ones). I did chest, back, shoulders, triceps, biceps and abs. I did the Body for Life pyramid way (12 reps, then heavier for 10 reps, 8 reps, 6 reps and back to the 8 rep weight for 12 reps and then switch to another exercise for one set of the same muscle). I think it was a good workout. I was groaning.
Lora - thanks for the link to the webiste. I'll check it out. I've only done The Firm yoga one a few times and that's the extent of my yoga. As for your working out issue - do you think that maybe you just never give your body a chance to rebuild from all the breaking down you do to it? Maybe there is just no way you can make progress without taking a day off???
Jeanette are you getting exicted about your century?
Diane Sue - looking forward to your movie review.
Dallas - sorry about your mess. And your DH - shame on him! They just don't think like we do on how disgusting that actually is.
Nicole - I can't wait to hear your review on the TJ rotation. I haven't tried any of those workouts but hear so much about them here. So what kind of workouts are they? Anyone???
Sandy - I'm pretty sure I've said it here before but I HATE working out in the mornings, but I know that if I don't do it then, it won't get done (unless I have a ride scheduled with friends). I get up, whine and moan about how tired I am and how I wish I was one of those naturally thin beautiful people who didn't ever have to work out (do they really exist?), take our puppy outside to pee and poop, feed the dogs, change into workout clothes, sometimes feed the birds (sometimes DH does it) and then I'm as ready as I'll ever be. I'm famous for saying I'm gonna do an additional workout in the evening and 9 times out of 10 I don't. You'll start to notice I never talk about that evening one after it's supposedly over.
I think that tomorrow morning I will sleep late (well, until 6:30 at least) b/c tomorrow night I'm riding with a couple of girlfriends after work for a couple of hours. One of them is definitely the fastest one in our city and the other one is probably second. PRAY FOR ME!!! Hehehe. It should be an awesome workout.
