Morning Fit Ladies -
This morning I did Jillian Michaels Cardio Kickbox (25 min) followed by Turbo Jam Fat Blaster (30 min) with my 1 pound gloves on. This mental stuff is still really bothering me so I thought this would be a good workout and it did make for an excellent workout. I put my own music on for the Jillian workout though. I kept my heartrate between 80-90% of my max. I'm testing the theory of keeping your HR at different intensities for your workouts.
I wanted to do abs...but my DVD player button broke. I was freakin out...but the DH told me it has a button on the remote to open/close it.
Marietta - yes....that's sort of what I'm doing this week...following the Hardcore FL rotation with my own DVDs. In the future, I would still like an updated copy of that FL & Definition rotation though....so if you ever have time to play, I'd still appreciate it.
Netta - I'm really glad you decided to stay and check in. Talk about motivating and inspiring....that's what reading about your bike rides do for me. I can't even imagine going that far on a bike. You're awesome! I also like that we can talk about yoga together!
I rec'd my latest Push DVD and I previewed the cardio session and it looks really interesting. The trainer is Ary Nunez and she's in great shape. I like her personality also. The workout is different. It's called Gotham Forms and it's martial arts inspired with a bit of a pilates/dance spin on the stretches at the end, but yet keeping with the martial art/fight feel. Here's what it says on the website.
Ary Nunez
Cardio Trainer
"When East meets West, it's the best of both worlds for your body and mind. Who better to lead us on this path of enlightenment than three-style black belt martial artist Ary Nunez? The creator of Gotham Global Fitness Orchestra, Ary incorporates martial arts, boxing, dance and athletics into her instruction.
In Ary's routine, PUSHgotham body forms, you'll explore the benefits of martial arts, dance, yoga and Pilates in this invigorating slant on fitness and form. From cardio to core, your endurance and overall strength will profit under Ary's masterful direction. Overall fun and personal achievement guaranteed.
Any way....I may try this tomorrow for my cardio session....if I can tear myself away from my Seasun step DVD that I love so much. I haven't done it this week yet.
Have great workouts everyone. I'll try to check in from work.
