Wow, lots of posts while I was gone today! My massage lady misread my appointment time so it didn't happen. I wasn't happy, but after talking to her later tonite, I'm rescheduling for next Monday. I was soooo ready for one tonite.
How do you guys all keep track of the posts? I just got done writing down all the names and came up with 12! I'll give a shot at it.
Lora, the injections do not sound like fun at all. How did you get the bulging disks in your neck? My neck is certainly my weakest point and I have to really watch that I don't strain it when lifting weights.
Charlotte, glad your first day went well. Sounds like you are going to enjoy it and glad you can get your meals in. Usually offices end up having too much food around.
Debbie, just off hand, all the fruit sounds like a lot to me, but boy, I sure struggle also with getting it. And then when I do, it changes.
Susan CM, hope your run was good today. Food combining, I need to listen up on that. I'm so used to not combining my food. In a real rut I am.
Dallas, I really enjoy PUB a lot and when I first started using it, I got a lot of definition.
Marietta, enjoy your rest time. We all sure deserve it. Your workouts sound like a lot of fun.
Nicole, so you are a kickbox fan. I like some of it, but not that hot on it as others are. I do find the Turbo Jams a lot of fun though, it is more like a party than a workout and the time really flies. I just have the original one and I'd say it's not as intense as KPC, but then, I like variety and different intensities.
Christine, sometimes exhaustion just really feels good too as you know you tested your body. So fun to meet someone and finally get to hear their voice, color of their eyes, etc. I'm almost always wrong when I imagine what they look like or sound like (unless, of course, I've seen their picture or talked on the phone to them previously). A northern Calif. get together someday would be nice. Carol McMain lives near Redding, CA and I'm a couple of hours east of her. Hmmm. Someday.
Susan (Dogs2birds), you are a much more dedicated cyclist than I am and I think/may already have passed me in ability. Keep working at it girl, you will be fast, fast! We all have different strengths, one may be fast on the flats but crawl in the hills and vice versa. The main thing is to enjoy it whether we are first, last, or inbetween. The feeling of freedom and adventure on a bike is awesome! I'll have to take my own advice tomorrow as I'm participating in the time trial after work (if I still feel as good as I do now). The others that ride are racers and fast recreational cyclists. I'm the first one to leave and the last one to come in, but hey, I'm riding agains myself. Keep us posted on poor Gizmo. I feel so sad about his jaw.
Diane Sue, sorry you got locked out. It's happened to everyone at some point or other. S&H on the Bowflex, I'll have to try that some time. However, my TV is about 20' and around a corner from my Bowflex. I'd have to turn it up pretty loud. Good idea, though. I'm so happy your DH will be home soon.
Terri, sorry you have been ill. Was it a flu bug? Please take it easy coming back. I'm the world's worst re: pushing when I shouldn't.
Must get off to bed now.
