Morning Ladies -
This morning I did P90 Masters Sculpt 5-6. I ran and jumped in between weight exercises to make it more aerobic. I added on 10 minutes of gliding (wanted to do more, but couldn't get my butt out of bed early enough) and did Yoga Now - 10 Minute Energizer.
Yoga Now is the infomercial pack with Rodney Yee and Mariel Hemingway. I bought it mainly for the AM and PM 10 minute routines, but I'm not sure I like them enough to justify the purchase. I've only done the 30 minute regular yoga workout and it is the strangest yoga I've ever done. It's either going to grow on me, or I'm not going to like it at all. Anyway, it's advertised as yoga-cardio fusion, but it's really not cardio by any means. It's more like you do some arm swings and ballistic bouncing in between yoga segments. You also do some quick lunges that turn into plyo lunges. I'll wait to decide if I'm going to E-bay these after I do the 55 minute routine. I really like Rodney & Mariel, but I think the concept is a bit strange.
Boy - I feel bad for that Amy Bento that just came out with the DVD's. She's getting a lot posts on this Forum and on Videofitness. I'd hate to have to read that kind of stuff about myself. I can't wait to get these DVDs. When I get them, I'll do a mini rotation with them. Wooping doesn't bother me, at least I don't think. I never notice half the things other people seem to notice.
I've been wanting to buy Mindy Mylrea's Bike Challenge DVD that's coming out next week. It's $25 and I've been putting it off, but last night I ordered it. It's a DVD that you do on your indoor bike. It's supposed to have a special feature where you can change the ride scenery for different routes?? I have no clue how this is going to be, but I need something to make me cross train on my Bike and Ellipitcal.
Have great workouts everyone. I'll try to check in from work later (ugh Monday again).
Oh, the move Stay Alive was okay. It was like the Ring (sort of)....the movie where the video game starts killing the people (sort of). It was so/so.
