Hardcore Fitness Maniacs August 2025

Hi,

Today I went for a walk outside with DH and Sadie. I also did CL# 10 Upper body sculpting. I loved it. It was high reps. Cathe did 3 rounds before she moved on to the next body part. No rushing.

Debbie - great job on RAW Upper Sculpt/Lower Tone . Thank you! I will keep the Cleveland Clinic or UH in Cleveland in mind. I been reading the autio book How not to Die from Dr. Gregor. Pretty interesting.

Diane - great job on your workout. I always research everything to find answers. If I had a 3mm brain aneurysm they would rushed me to the hospital right away. Mine is 2mm. I was highly advised to follow my doctors orders not getting hit/or have a spike in blood pressure in my head. I am following all my doctor’s orders. My Neurologist isn’t taking it easy, he is the one sending me to Neurosurgeon. My husband is aware on what symptoms to look for in case I have a rupture. The survival rate if you have a rupture isn’t good.

Jolie - I forgot to mention, I found a magnesium lotion. I bought it for my sore muscles.

Good night.

Today(or Should I say yesterday) was my birthday. I did Gloved Up and Sweaty, 40 minutes, 191 calories, heart rate 109/144, 3,188 steps. I finished with CDorner Upper Body mobility stretch using a chair, 17 minutes, 43 calories. 57 minutes total, 208 calories. I did not do the low impact burpees. I am just getting better in the chest and rib area after doing yoga with too many planks and down dogs from CDorner a couple of days ago. I wish it didn't set off the costochondritis symptoms like that. I have been using a heating pad.

Debbie, great job on Raw Upper Sculpt Lower Tone. I looked today over the set up. I didn't see the 14 minute yoga stretch I like or I would have done it today. I like to see the results and the trackers do help motivate. Plus I like getting notifications on mine when I leave my cell in the house or am working out. I track my heart and stuff as well and log my blood pressure so I have it all in My Net Diary as well. I should write down which category the workouts are in on the work sheets in my notebook.

Roselyn, nice work on leg day.

Belinda, nice that you got in a walk and CL #10 Upper Body Sculpting. I know ruptures can be fatal. I remember someone taking their father to the medical center to get something checked and he had a rupture in the parking lot and did not survive. I will be glad when this is taken care of for you.

This morning I got on my treadmill and did a fast, uphill climb. Well, sort of fast. Had a great workout. It is COLD here!! OMG, we went from 90 degrees with 100% humidity to 50 and no humidity in just a couple of days. Its crazy. I love this weather, though. It feels like fall - my favorite time of year.

Workout was 50 minutes, burned 379 calories, went 2.4 miles, did 5870 steps and HR was 129/162.

Roselyn - Nice job with leg day!

Belinda - CL #10 sounds super fun. I sort of wish I have a subscription to the live streaming I'm just not sure how much I'd use it. I might have to look into it again.

Diane - HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! How old are you now? I can't believe I will be 60 next year, doesn't seem possible. That is what I'm doing, noting on all my workout sheets where the workouts are on Kelly's YT playlists. It helps. Sometimes there are some workouts in more than one category, too. Which stretch workout? I just looked under the Floor work/Other and I don't see a stretch that is 17 minutes long. Do you remember the name of it?

Have a great day and workout everyone!!

Hi,

I had an echocardiograms this morning. I hope I will get the results soon.

I did a dance workout OnDemand today and stretching. I needed a lower body stretch. I am super tired, I couldn’t sleep last night to save my life. I wasn’t nervous, just couldn’t sleep. I try not to stress. I been enjoying audio books lately. I finished listen to the book this morning while getting ready for my appointment. I already started a new one, lol. Audio books are great waiting at the doctors office.

Debbie - great job on your TM walk. It got cold here too. Later afternoon, it’s hot outside. Cathe is offering a lot of great deals lately. Maybe she will have another great deal on Cathe Live. If I see it, I will let you know.

Good night.

Belinda, thank for the birthday wishes. I hope you get those results quickly too. I never sleep well when I have appointments and things the next day. I guess just some anticipation of getting up and out the door to get it over with. The prednisone has made sleeping off for me. I have never used audio books. I just read on my devices. I think I would have a hard time absorbing what I read and have to keep going back to hear it again. I read on my cell or play word with friends with my daughter and an old friend from here, while I am sitting waiting for appointments. My Samsung earbuds never seem to want to stay in my ears. Nice work on the Live Dance workout on demand and stretch today.

Debbie, nice work on the treadmill climbs. It has been cooler here too. Rainy the last few days. My dog is more than happy getting me outside in the rain to play ball. He could care less about storms. We have had a pretty mild summer with quite a bit of rain. Nicer than the scorching 100+ degree drought weather. The aging sure does creep up. I am 73 now and it doesn't seem possible, but then I watch my children hitting their 50's. I went over a lot of the play lists and I did not see that stretch on it. It was just called yoga stretch and was 14 minutes, I think. It was quick and no weird stuff. Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Roselyn, thanks for the birthday wishes. Nice work on chest today.

Today I did KCM Cardio Pump Workout #2. This is the total body workout and I haven't done this in years. I'm enjoying these older Kelly workouts. Killer! Workout was 40 minutes, burned 213 calories, HR was 117/164.

Belinda - Great job with your dance workout! I hope Cathe has a deal on her live workouts again. I'd probably sign up. Thanks for keeping an eye for me!

Roselyn - Nice job with your workout!

Diane - 73, doesn't seem possible. I didn't realize you were older than me, for some reason I thought we were about the same age. I checked Kelly's YT channel for that stretch workout and I can't find it either. That was the one with the Christian music, right? I liked that one too.

Have a great day and LONG weekend everyone! I will probably not workout on Monday so I'll be back on Tuesday.

Hi,

Today was a nice walk outside. That’s it.

Debbie - great job on your workout today. It looks amazing. I have t see if I have that one on DVD? I have KCM DVD’s, hardly do them. I was thinking signing up for KCM YT channel instead of buying more DVD’s.

Diane - yes, I can’t wait to get this all done and over with. I am a little overwhelmed. Predictions definitely can mess with your sleep schedule. I have take it early in the morning or I am up all night long. I love reading a physical book. With my eyesight being off, audio books are the best thing. I actually love having both options. I don’t have a problem missing anything. It’s a fun way to keep up with books that are interesting and I am leaning at the same time. I am listening to books about heath. It’s very cool, that anyone can borrow and read from a library. You have to have a library card in order to check out books online/audiobooks. They also have every new magazine you can imagine. It’s really cool. It’s all free. They also offer Kindle books.

Roselyn- nice job with your workout.

Good night.

I then did Ice Muscle Meltdown biceps, 16 minutes, 85 calories, heartrate 111/139 finishing with STS 2.0 chair yoga 22 minutes, 52 calories. 77 minutes total 350 calories.

Muscle Meltdown 3 giant sets 5 moves
biceps curls 12# dbs 12 reps
hammer curls 12# dbs 12 reps
preacher curls 10# dbs 12 reps
incline curls 12# dbs 12 reps
concentration curl 12# db 12 reps

Debbie, nice work on Raw Box and Pump #2 today. Stretch #2 is the one with the Christian Music in it. I have done that one a lot too. I am thinking maybe the yoga stretch was one of those timesaver workouts. It had similar music in it. Maybe she just decided not to put that one up. It looks like most of her stuff is up though. I purchased some of her later workouts but did not purchase the Raw Timesaver ones. I just figured I had her app so I did not need to purchase. One of the newer ones I purchased had a Raw workout added to it. It used to be on the other workouts.

Belinda, good job on the walk today. Amazon is always sending me stuff on audio books. I have lots of books on my Kindle app. Lots on health stuff as well. Reading is a nice way to relax. I don't think that I relax much anymore. I used to get books and magazines from the library on my tablet a lot. I still have my library card.

Hi,

I went for a long walk outside today.

Diane - nice job on your workout yesterday. I do have Amazon, hardly use the audio books. I like the liabary app with all the books and magazines.

Good night.

Today I did CDorner Step # 488, 29 minutes, 159 calories, heart rate 116/144, 2,421 steps. I wanted to do triceps today so started with Muscle Meltdown triceps and did one round(too much on my chest and back), Pyramid Pump Triceps Superset, and added some band press downs and kickbacks, 19 minutes, 83 calories,
finished with a short CDorner Stretch 11 minutes 26 calories. Total time 59 minutes, 268 calories.

Belinda, nice that you got in a walk today. My husband used to tell me when I checked out books and took them home, that I didn't know how many germs were all over those books and where they had been usedo_O Then I discovered checking out digitally and reading them through an app. Odd I never thought about it before.

Hi,

Today I did CL# 559 Build to burn Upper Body. Had a great workout. I didn’t do her floor abs like reverse crunches, I did standing abs instead.

Is anyone taking advantage of Cathe’s sale? She has some great deal going on.

Diane - nice on your step workout. I agree with your husband. Doing it online is so much better, IMO! I don’t have to run around to return anything. Just a click away.

Have a great day and workout.
