Hardcore Fitness Maniacs August 2025

No workout today. Yesterday I did CDorner Low Impact Aerobics with light dumbbells(2#) done outdoors and all standing, 32 minutes, heart rate 119/138, 177 calories, 3023 steps. Followed this with LMR Low Impact Cardio 16 minutes, 111 calories, 137/154 heart rate, 1,197 steps. Total time 48 minutes, 288 calories, 4220 steps. Rest day today as I am sore and some rib and upper back pain. Maybe tomorrow I will get in something.

Belinda, I hope the laser surgery goes well. It amazing how much we rely on internet.

Roselyn, nice job on the full body workout.

Jolie, great job on Cathe Live Vertical Loading 2. I like the way you changed it to no weights for the lower body. I am sore from the leg workout that I did. Lots of balance. I had to adjust a bit when it came to cross back lunges. They bother my knees. Having times for rest lets the muscles recover so much better for increases in weight.

I just came back from the doctor. I didn’t get the laser surgery today. He ran a lot of tests so did other surgeons , it turns out my implant rotated in my right eye. I need to get another surgery on September 11 hopefully so they can rotated the implant. They will order a new implant just in case they can’t or it will not rotate. I met all the surgeons that will perform the surgery next month. Not the outcome I was hoping for today.

Diane - thank you! We plan on switching providers once we get home. I am tired of not having cell service.

My eyes got dilated, still seeing blurry. I will be back tomorrow.

Friday I did a really hard walk through the hills, it darn near killed me and the pup. 4.6 miles up and down steep hills.
Saturday- 5 mile walk but no as steep of hills, but it was a doozy!
Sunday- Cathe Live #136 Upper Body Challenge with the Ball. I did not use the ball, I wanted to lift heavier weights so I just used a bench. This workout is long but a really good upper body workout.

Belinda, I hope your eye situation improves and nice job on the walk around the lake, sounds beautiful.

Yesterday I did CDorner Step Latin Flare 32minutes, calories and heart rate were off because I accidentally push yoga and the Garmin gave me low heart rate and burn till the last 11 minutes when I stopped and hit cardio. Anyway, calories according to both added together was 142. It makes no sense that heart rate would be so much different for yoga when doing cardio. I finished off with LITE Pyramid Pump Triceps and Biceps with warm up and stretch, 19 minutes, 110 calories, heart rate 122/150. The pyramid superset body parts do not take long, and I get in some decent weights. Total time 51 minutes, calories? Steps 3,615. My neck and upper back really hurt all night. I hope it gets better.

Belinda, I am sorry that you have problems with the implant. I am sure it was disappointing. Prayers for a good outcome. Nice job on the walk.

Jolie, 4.6 miles on high hills sure sounds tough. It has been over 90 here. I hardly want to go outside with the dog when he begs me to go out with him to play ball. Nice work on CL #136 Upper Body Challenge with the Ball. I liked that one when I had Cathe Live subscription. The Pyramid Pump upper workout uses a stability ball. I like that it feels better on my back and helps take pressure off when doing incline curls. Focuses more on the bicep without.
 
Well, I'm back. It was SO HARD to get up and workout this morning. I hate these early morning workouts anymore, not sure how much longer I can do them. We'll see.

I did RAW Box & Waistline and then did about maybe half of RAW TS Box & Tone. Had a great workout.

Workout was 39 minutes, burned 399 calories, did 3445 steps and HR was 138/179.

Belinda - I'm so sorry to hear about your eye issue. Wow, I hope they can fix that. Prayers that all will turn out perfectly. Are you able to see?

Jolie - great workouts! You are killing it!!

Evening,

Walk around the lake this morning. We decided to leave for Sadie’s teeth cleaning appointment tomorrow. I did manage to get a weight workout in this evening. I did CL # 460 Strong and Fit: Chest & triceps .

Diane - great job on your workouts. Thank you! I am not disappointed or upset. It‘s not the surgeons fault. It‘s very rare that the implant rotates. Nobody knows why this happened. I know I have a great team of doctors that will be there every step of the way with the surgery. I am in good hands.

Debbie - thank you! I noticed my vision isn‘t what it was a few month ago. My right eye always was my worse one anyway. I will have an entire team of doctors in the OR, I will be in good hands. The probably never seen anything like this before, lol. I was told it‘s very rare that the implant rotates. Since the implant is in since Jan, I have a feeling they have to put in a new one. The doctor ordered a new one just in case I need it. Great job getting your workout in so early. I have a hard time lately getting up early.

Jolie - thanks! I hope once I get the implant rotated/or get a new one I will see better. The lake is breathtaking. Lots of wild life. Very relaxing!

Sadie, is getting her teeth cleaned. I am so nervous. Please keep her in your prayers.

Today I started with CDorner Total Body with Bands(only did 14 minutes) followed with Gloved Up and Sweaty, 39 minutes. 52 minutes total, 261 calories. I also did CDorner Full Body Stretch for 20 minutes(skipped the meditation and lower back portion done like a superman). I forgot to start my watch for the stretching. The bands was okay, but when she got to a move that affects traps and neck I stopped. Mine has been hurting for several days now. Tomorrow I get together with my ladies group. I doubt I will workout.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Box and Waistline and half of TS Box and Tone today. It is hard to get up early. I was up in the night with my dog whining and had to be up early because my husband was taking his car to get some stuff done on it and needed to be there when they opened.

Belinda, nice that you got a walk in and CL#460 Strong and Fit Chest and Triceps.

Killer workout!! My arms were shaking while I was trying to get ready, really weird. Total workout was 46 minutes, burned 288 calories, and HR was 122/166.

I don't have time for personals, great job with your workouts everyone!!
 
Yesteday I walked 4.2 miles through the hills. Today's workout was CL #10 Upper Body Sculpting and I had an excellent workout. I think my arms are going to be sore tomorrow :) I am really enjoying the Cathe Live workouts again, especially the early ones from 10 years ago!!! What, 10 years ago! Where does the time go?

Debbie, fantastic job getting up early the past two days and getting a workout in before work!!! Can you workout when you get home instead. Maybe do some house stuff in the morning and a workout in the evening?

Diane Sue, great job the workout, wow, that one seems like a long one with the stretch. I should be stretching too but I run out of time!

Belinda, I hope Sadie's teeth cleaning goes well. I have never done that for any of my dogs, I should look into it.

Roselyn, great job with the workouts the past two days.

Hi,

Thanks for thinking about Sadie today. She did well. Sadie is very tired, understandable after being under anesthesia. She is only allowed to eat 1/4 what she normally eats.The vet recommended I give her wet food today, which she ate. She isn‘t drinking any water. I am sure she is very sore. Her teeth are so white. I am glad the vet didn‘t had to pull any of her teeth.

While Sadie slept on the couch I did a dance workout.

I have 3 MRI‘s tomorrow. They are doing them back to back. Thank goodness. I will get up early to get a workout in.

Jolie - thank you! Sadie did well. She is very tired. Sadie had a lot of tartar, common in Yorkies. We payed close to $1000 today. I am glad she didn‘t needed any teeth pulled, that would cost even more. I will brush her teeth daily from now on. I don‘t want her going through this again. She had a breathing tube. Poor thing. You getting in some good CL workouts in. Great job!
