Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 8/18

Today was Meso 3, Week 2, Disc 38, Squat Rack Legs. Had an excellent workout and stretched alot between each set. I really like this version of STS, it's a nice break from all the high rep stuff in Meso 1 and 2.

There is a 3 minute rest period between each set and exercise.

Warmup:
Squats - 65#/10 reps

***This was suppose to be Front Squats. You all know how I feel about front squats.

Today was CardioFusion (most of it). I have to get back on track with my workouts. I have been so busy between getting things ready to move, etc. I'm also stressed out trying to buy the new house. :eek: Hopefully things will start to calm down over the next few weeks and I'll be able to get back to my usual routine. My knee and hip are starting to feel better, but I have to take it easy on the jumping for the next few days. I think I pulled some muscles while doing a long swim at camp last weekend - really not sure.

Debbie-nice work...& if I remember correctly, u just love a front squat :rolleyes: haha

Tuesday I did a quick weight workout....had something 2 do & didn't want 2 get all sweaty :D
I did 5x5 for all exercises
Chinups/lumberjacksquats/shldr press/1leg dl/trx ab rollout

Debbie - Nice workout. I subbed in hack squats for the front squats ;) - Not my favorite either.

Cheryl - Moving's stressful, even if it's a move you're stoked about -- hard to keep to any routine. Glad your knee and hip are recovering. Cardio Fusion is a good one - it does seem kind of long - longer than it is for some reason, if I remember (?). Still, I think I love everything about it except the warm-up. Hope you have a good day :) .

Theresa - That mix looked really good :) And, I probably would have gotten all sweaty anyway :p.

I still have a twinge in my lower back/side. It's not too bad but it's there. Thinking I could probably do some interval work on my bike and bi's/tri's/shoulders. Have to see how it feels. Last night I previewed a Budokon DVD I ordered. It looks great. Very excited to try it but maybe I should quit watching these new DVD's until my back feels 100% - it's sort of torture in a way :confused:

I finished my workout. Workout was Empire State Joint Mobility and workout with the bonus high pull snatch round 56 minutes 297 calories, I then did 4 Day Split lower body mix 32 minutes 170 calories and followed with the Back and Bicep Mix 25 minutes 131 calories. I finished off with Turbo Fire Stretch 10 28 cal. Workout was 2 hr 3 minutes and Calories burned was 626. I wanted a non impact low cardio workout today. I didn't do all of the jacks and run in place I usually do during the one minute breaks on Empire state.

Lori, I understand watching the dvds and knowing you shouldn't do them feeling like torture. Maybe you just need a couple of days.

Cheryl, I know what you are going through with the moving. We did that a year ago. It was hard getting the workouts in along with packing. And I hated showing the house.

Debbie, nice workout. I am missing the heavy weights. With all of the new workouts I have the weight work has been lighter. I wouldn't mind front squats so much but I really have to drop the weight down to do them. I tried them with the Bowflex before but the way mine is it was too hard holding the bar in front. It wanted to snap back.
 
Today I did sts disc 11 legs and disc 12 back and tris, then turbo fire core 20. Has anyone tried the P90X recovery drink? I got it with my order, was wondering if anyone has tried it and when you use it. have a good day everyone
 
Hey, everyone. I am still plugging along as best I can. Day 5 of the leg & foot being numb and it is driving me BANANAS!!

Yesterday I did 4DS LIS cardio only and today was KCM 30 Min. Bootcamp Strength Only Premix.

Roselyn, I gave used the P90X recovery drink. I misunderstood and got two large containers when I ordered Insanity bonus workouts. It has a lot of sugars in it. I mixed half a serving with 1/2 scoop vanilla whey and drank it post workout. It was ok but I wouldn't purchase it. I didn't notice anything different. I tried drinking 1/2 before workout and then finishing after and it did not seem to do much. If I was really hungry and had not eaten much the night before it gave me some energy but that is all.

Linda, you are getting in good workouts. Sorry about the numbness. I have had numb feet before but not into the legs. I hope it clears up for you.
 
Cheryl--moving is definitely stressful, but that's so cool about the new house! I can't wait till my fiance and I are ready to get our first house. It won't be till after we're married, which is still several months away, but I still like to look at realty sites every now and then, just to fantasize. =)

Today's workout was the upper body push/pull premix from Muscle Max.
