Hey Ladies-
Sorry I wasn't around much this weekend, I was sidelined by cramps  I feel human today, so I should get back on my game.

Debbie-Great workout and ^^^^^5's on the pushups. Also, I saw you lost some weight, ^^^^^^^5's for that too :) Any weight loss if great, no matter how large or small the number :)

As far as weekend eats: I managed to get some fruits and veggies, no alcoholic drinks, only ate out once (well......movie popcorn too), and got more water in than usual. So, I felt it was a lot better than weeks past.

Good Morning ~

I'm here. Finished Gym Style yesterday and did 80 min. of yoga last night (Baptiste Foundations). Cardio today - not sure what yet.

Theresa -This is what I have to say to cramps  Glad you're feeling better today and well done on your weekend eats!

Debbie - Great on the push ups :D I think I'd mentioned something about hearing that strength is lost and regained quickly in that exercise - no idea it could be THAT quickly :p - Very cool. Looks like you did have a great workout :D

*Yawn* (and that is all for now)

Lori

Hi Everyone!!

I made it back from camp late last night, much to my dismay. :( We had such a good time this weekend and really enjoyed a little bit (not a lot) of R&R. We now have camp mostly "set up" for the season and much of the heavy work is done. I'm also happy to say that I am still under 140 # again this week, even with TTOM.

Theresa - I hear you on the cramps - YUK. I had such bad cramps this weekend that I wanted to die - argh. I managed to get things done, but had to take a ton of Advil all weekend.

Debbie - Nice work on STS. Again, I am jealous reading every workout!! I am still doing your last rotation, but mixed up the workouts a little, so hopefully if I keep my eating under control I will drop a few more lbs. Thanks again. :D

Lori - **Yawn** right back at ya!! LOL ;) Gym styles is a hard workout, and you also did all of that Yoga??? I would be more than yawning right now - more like *snore*. Have a great day!! :)

This morning was MIS, which is a workout I am really beginning to like. I didn't care for it at first, but it is definitely growing on me and seems to work my body "just right". I have cardiofusion set up for tomorrow, and I really need to crack down on my cardio days. It seems I have been "slacking" and only doing the SC DVD's on cardio days because they are shorter workouts. I know if I am going to continue to drop the lbs I need a little more cardio.

I hope everyone has a great day and happy workouts to all!!

Cheryl

This morning I did Amy's Step Challenge 2 Circuit # 2 that includes combo 3, combo 4, 3&4 combined and power ups with SloMo weights in between. No Jefferson squats on this one:D 88 minutes 464 calories Max HR 151. Then I did the strength and cooldown from Amy's Cardio Pump Step 25 minutes 122 calories, I finished off with 10 minutes solution 5 day get fit power yoga 10 minutes 37 calories. Total calories burned was 623. Workout was 2 hr 3 minutes.

Debbie, nice job on all of those push ups.

Cheryl, good job on keeping the pounds off. I always did think that MIS is an effective total body workout.

Lori, sounds like you got some good workouts in:D

Theresa, I am glad to hear that the eating went well this weekend:D

Hi everyone - my last day off and then I work 6 straight....ugh! Depressed already! I had a great workout this morning. I did Aerobarre! I loved it....but I need some practice at the jumping ballet moves. I had to single time some of them. I think it kicked my ass a little!! Max HR was 163 on that part and then ...I added on 10" Solutions Ultimate Kettlebell, arms & legs. Total workout with double stretch was 1 hour and 30 minutes and I burned 830 calories.

I also did Wai Lana Yoga for Flexibility. It was 50 minutes and I thought I'd feel good afterwards.....but no I didn't! I can't get this right hamstring loose for the life of me! I did get my Stick in the mail today so I'll try that. How the heck to get your shoulders with this stick?

Roselyn - I have all of the IWMBB workouts of Val's. If you like Action Hero Babe, you should like IWMBB. They are similar, except each IWMBB workout has a Sweat circuit, a sculpt circuit and a Polish circuit rather than having separate workouts for each ...sweat, sculpt, etc ....like the AHB workouts. I'm currently doing a Val IWMBB and Tracy Anderson rotation. I just did 4 weeks and now I'm gonna take a brief break from them and continue the rest of the rotation for 4 more weeks. I lift heavier than Val suggests and rarely take breaks.

Lori - "Making your numbers" at work simply means that you have a sales per hour goal that you must meet. Your goal changes with the seasons, but it's still hard to make. My current coworker and I "rotate" our sales when we work together. My previous coworker did not rotate sales with me and I always did a bit better than her, as I was more agressive....so I'm a bit worried about making my goals with this new system. What did you mean about finding your talent ....I didn't understand that from your post yesterday....thanks.

Have great workouts everyone.

Polishing my nails and going out for dinner later.

Lori-80 min of yoga  Strong work. Good luck w/ the cardio today.

Cheryl-MIS is one I don't own, but I previewed it yesterday and it looked like a good one. I bet that is a good feeling to have camp set up. Will you be there every weekend from now on?

Diane Sue-yet another nice little medley you cooked up for yourself. How are you liking the slo mo rotation?

Lora-nice calorie burn :p Hope you have a nice dinner

I also did STS disc 4. Want do you have on tap for tomorrow Debbie. Has anyone looked at the Healthy recipe forum? If you have, there is someone named JodelleFitzh20 who has posted some interesting recipes, I got directed to a website and there were some interesting looking peanut butter balls but cant find the recipe, anyone been there or know what I am talking about?

Lora - You probably didn't understand, because I wasn't very clear. I don't remember HOW I said it now - I think you know where your passions and talent's lie - don't think you have to "find" that. What led to me saying what I did was this: I finished my workout and the credits were rolling. When I glanced up, the "make -up artist" credits were there. I thought of you. It was just a fleeting thought really - I wondered if maybe a job doing something like that would be in line with what you love to do. I "thought" you said that particular aspect (make-up etc.) was what you were passionate about. I referred to it as your talent because ... well. It is a talent. It must be because it is one I do not have. I wasn't 100% positive being a make-up artist would really be something you'd dig (or that maybe I wasn't ever and yet again mixing up the facts ) - so, I was probably a little wishy washy in the way I said it. Ugghh. Ever do that? Have a thought that takes up all of a quarter of a second probably, but when you try to communicate it, it becomes this very long, complicated, verbal mush  Was I totally out of line? If not, that would be a vast improvement in work environment, huh? I do understand the numbers thing now. Thanks for explaining so patiently. That was an AMAZING workout there, btw - Hope you enjoy going out.

Cheryl - Glad you got camp set up and things are going so well :D Hope you get some rest.

Diane Sue - I agree with Theresa. Really like how you blended things together for your workout - sort of circuit style and the yoga was a nice finisher.

Theresa - That 80 minutes went fast. It's the second time I've done those segments and it doesn't seem like that long, surprisingly. I still don't know what I'm going to do today - just feeling kinda funky/blue/lethargic - pretty WhateverMax

Hope you all have a good afternoon.

Lori

I got my shopping done and some cleaning done today:D No grandchildren here so I took advantage. Tomorrow I will have to get that workout in really early because I have some people coming out to work on our sprinklers at 8 am. I bought some thawed out some lean steak and bought some mushrooms but cannot remember what recipe I had in mind so have been searching for it. I guess if I don't find it I will make up something of my own. I hate when I do that. I picked up a 10# kettlebell today. Never thought that I would want one that light but some of the moves on Brook Bentons Cardio Fusion are awfully fast and seem a little unsafe for a heavier kettlebell. I have been using my 15#. She suggests a light one and they are using 10#. Right now I am mad at myself for opening a bag of pretzels dh bought home. I told him he needed to do something else with them. Hopefully I can feed them to my grandchildren tomorrow.

Theresa, I am enjoying doing the Slo Mo workouts. I still want to do the other Step Challenge 2 and Slo Mo circuit. It uses combos 1,2, 1nd 3 with some different Slo Mo exercises. It has the Jefferson Squats but I am thinking of doing regular squats or something for that move.

Lori, thanks on the workout. I am trying to get in the flexibility work as much as possible. Have fun choosing a cardio workout:)

Lora, nice workout:D I hope you enjoy your evening and dinner:)

Barely into my warm-up and got interrupted by tornado sirens. I wouldn't have even heard them, I don't think. DS did, though. Spent much of the evening in the basement. Everything's fine - for us anyway. My neighbor's had their car totaled by a tree branch (very BIG branch, obviously). Lots of wind and sheets of rain - some small hail. Anyway, I will probably just do dishes and stuff and plan to double up workouts some time this week. ever notice that people get ENERGIZED over weather? Our whole neighborhood's buzzing and DS is all wound up  It's kind of nice in a way - people are out and talking to each other - it's a pretty friendly neighborhood as that goes, but it sounds like a block party out there right now :p. I guess calamity (even when it's minor) can be a bonding experience. That's an upside, huh?

Have a nice evening.

Lori

Holy crap, a tornado??? That takes bad weather to a whole new level. That's pooey about your neighbor's car, but I must admit I had a (probably inappropriate) inner chuckle about the idea of you blissfully doing your workout as a tornado rages right outside your window, destroying property and sending people scurrying into their basements.

Yesterday I did Amy's Cardio Pump Step. I felt like I could have/should have done more, but it was late when I finished. No workout today...too much work and I had to make dinner. Will be heading to bed soon, yay.

Good workouts everyone, and boo for ttom! lol.
