Triceps: Lying extensions bb 45#
Triceps: Lying extensions 12's
Crazy 8's: 40#
Reverse curls: 12# db
***Repeated. I hate crazy 8's.

ROUND 3
Stability Ball and HS dips
Tricep Incline Pushups
Stability Incline hammer curls: 15# db
Standing double arm hammers: 15#
***Repeated.

ROUND 4
Tricep pressdown: Green band
Kickbacks: Green band
Hanging concentration curls: 20# db
Wrist curls: 12# db
***Repeated. I hate the hanging concentration curls, they hurt my upper back. I should have just done these seated.

Morning Maniacs! This morning I did Dove's Bodies volume #3 followed by Total Body Solutions Neck, Shoulder, and Lower back segments. Now it's off to the bank and house cleaning...Oh the joy!!

OH MY GOSH!!!

Your weight amazes me!!! I can barely get 4 reps out on lying tricep extentions (which, as you know, I love to call skull crushers b/c it makes me feel tough! :p) with 40# and you're doing 45's! And you're curling 25's and I have to cheat to get my 22.5's up. Dang woman!

I'm going to do a Cardio Coach soon. Not sure which one. Maybe I'll do some bicep work today just because (because of Debbie!).

We took our Christmas card pictures last night. We really wanted to use Gizmo this year, but once again we couldn't get him to sit up for nothin'! He is so funny. He looks drunk. We're using Amber once again. She looks miserable. Bless her heart. She'll sit there all day long though. I think she likes her Simpson's tie. :)

Oh Dallys! Your colors are so much better. Even before colors were easy, you did color. Nice workout. Now DH wants to go to lunch, so I guess my cardio will wait. Darn it! Should have done it earlier. I had to get online this morning and buy Kenny Chesney tickets for my friends and me and I had to go into a "virtual waiting room" b/c it was so busy. And a lot of the seats were already gone! And he's here (at Cheyenne Frontier Days in July) for two nights!!! But I got some anyway. Can't wait! I just love him.
 
I did Providence this morning and loved it. I will try to give a break down.
I started with the treadmill for 3.54 miles and burned 385 calories. Then I put in Providence
Joint mobility warm up 5 minutes Rounds are 2 minutes
round 1: 2 handed swing, 1 arm swing, hand to hand swing,
15# kettlebell 30 sec. 2 handsing, left arm swing then right 30 each, alternating arm swing 30 seconds
round 2: cleans 15# kettlebell reps 5,4,3,2,1,each arm, then altenate
round 3: chest press 15# 5,4,3,2,1 reps alternating 5 rt, 5 left etc then alternating 1&1 to finish
round 4: squat/sumo deadlift 30 sec ea w/25# squat, sumo deadlift,squat, sumo deadlift (you switch hands with the kettlebell on each squat set
round5: 1 leg deadlift 25# kettlebell 5 slow right, 5 slow left to end of 2 minutes
round 6: windmill into overhead squat 15# kettlebell 30sec each windmill right, squat overhead, windmill left, squat overhead
round 7: claen and press 15# kettlebell 5,4,3,2,1 reps left then right then alternate to end of 2 minutes
round 8: flip and squat: 2 minutes 25# kettlebell(had a hard time with tossing the kettlebell over to flip need to lower the weight)
round 9: tactical lunge: 2 minutes 20# kettlebell alternating legs in the lunge
round 10: triple crush, 2 minutes 25# kettlebell 30 seconds each tri and bi combo, triceps only, biceps only, tri and bi combo
round 11: sling shot into figure 8 with a static hold 30 seconds each figure 8's, sling shot right, figure 8's, sling shot left
round 12 seated press 2min 15# kettlebell 5,4,3,2,1 right and then left, then alternate to end
round 13: one arm row 25# kettlebell 5,4,3,2,1, switch
round 14: pullovers, russian twists, sicilian twist 20# kettlebell 2 minutes
round 15: 3 minutes snatch test 15# kettlebell snatching right and left he speeds up the pace after first minute. This really kicked up the hr
I then repeated round 1 and the ab round
I followed this with Hi/Lo Knockout abs two times using the 15# kettlebell on the modified turkish get ups and 10# unintelligent bells for the rest then did the stretch and added Tracey's Yoga solutions post cardio yoga and some shoulder stretches with my strap.
I burned 450 calories doing Providence Which was 51 minutes plus the extra 4 I repeated. I think it could be more but had to stop a couple of times and help grandchildren and answer the phone. Total calories burned today was 1037.

Suz- Awe, I like Gismos picture. It's all he can do to keep his head on the arm chair. He's like a slinky, rofl! Amber reminds me of Carma in that picture...like...whatever ya gotta do, you crazy humans.

Diane Sue- Wow, that looks like a great workout! So, do you think this one was you fav intelbell workout so far? Gosh, I want some!

I so don't want to clean my house! I'm a grinch and don't want to put up a Christmas tree either...ba humbug!

Repeated. The hanging concentration curls also bothered my back as well..didn't like those.

I had to use today as my rest day! My legs are killing me! Our party was alot of fun but I was just tired all day....took two naps!!!!! :eek:

I am back from the birthday party:D Trying to preview KettleBell Way 3 Empire State.

Dallys, so far I think Providence is my favorite. Empire State looks like it will be great too. 3 minute rounds instead of 2. Core appears to be involved in all of the rounds doesn't look like it has as much cardio to it. I guess I would have to do it first. It has a shuffle premix and you can pick and choose individual exercises. There are two kettlebell options on some of the moves:D I haven't checked out the Manmaker dvd that comes with it. There are 3 options on it.

Sonya, I am not surprised that your legs are sore today:p You probably needed the naps to help with recovery.

Debbie, I like the hanging concentration curls because I don't feel them so much in my shoulder when I do them. It seems to me that they isolate my biceps more.

Suz, Gizmo looks so cute. Amber looks cute too. Like her Tie.

Dallys and Suz, I like your colors. keeps it interesting.

Diane Sue - Thanks for the breakdown of that workout. I'm really getting interested in those kettlebells. I saw some at the college in the workout room the other day. Of course I don't know what to do with them. :) That was some workout you did!

Charlotte - You are also throwing around some massive poundage, as usual. Nice job!!!

Sonya - I'm glad you enjoyed your party last night. Glad you rested a lot today.

I STILL haven't done CC#8. I'm getting ready to right now though - and it's 8pm!!! I've spent a couple of hours again on the phone about my dad. He's being stubborn and not eating. He has overstayed his welcome with his neighbors. DH finally told them they needed to send him home. He talked with my dad and told him he can't stay at their house and that it is not their responsibility to care for him just because he is lonely. He told him that we have tried for 7 years to get him to move out here and he can either do that or if he's not going to take care of himself he can go into a retirement home where they can look after him. He "acted" like he wants to move out here. We'll see. We may have to go out there at the end of the week if he doesn't start eating. He almost ended up back in the hospital Thursday. The doctor did all kinds of tests and determined that everything is low because he's not eating. So frustrating. He promises he'll eat. Ugh!
