Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 11/5

This morning I had a pretty decent workout. Not stellar, but decent. I worked Legs, Calves and Abs. Was sweating like a pig.

45 seconds rest between each set

LEGS
Squats:
145# - 4/4/4 (same as last week)
130# - 12 (up 5#)
105# - 20/20 (same as last week)

Leg Press Station:
260# - 4/4 (same as last week)
250# - 12 (up 5#)
225# - 20/20 (same as last week)

Static Lunges:
120# - 4/4 (same as last week)
105# - 12/12
***Was suppose to only do one set at 12 reps and then 2 sets with 20 reps. It's just too damn hard to keep that bar on my shoulders for 40 freakin' reps. I did 2 sets of 12 instead.

Elevated SLDL's:
105# - 4/4 (same as last week)
85# - 12 (same as last week)
70# - 20 (up 5# but only did one set instead of 2)

Leg Extensions:
82.5# - 20/20 (up 2.5#)

CALVES
Leg Press Station Calf Raises:
235# - 20/20/20/20
***Toes forward, in, out and forward.

ABS
Step, Jump & Pump Ab Work

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Today I am gonna work chest/triceps and abs and get on elliptical for 30 mins and go high speeds.

Debbie,

I can see why you were sweating like a pig. I cannot imagine doing 2/20 lunges with heavy weight like that. Lunges are hard to do that many times with heavy weight. I am gonna be doing the leg workout tomorrow...and already preparing myself for them lunges.
 
Morning! Up early again. Loving this time change! This morning I plan on doing Jari Love's Slim and Lean or something, can't remember the name.

It is snowing heavy here and sticking on the ground...I feel like baking and playing Christmas music, ROFL!

Snowing??? Good gosh! I have windows open here..kinda warm for November. I just bought a box of cookies for Bobby to eat...vanilla bean organic cookies from Costco's. I almost got the chocolate almond wafers, but I decided I have enough temptations.

It snowed out by the college but not out north by where I live. Supposed to snow a little tonight. Not sure I feel like baking though Dallys! Maybe I'll make some protein bars. :)

Toasty - My chest is sooooo sore from yesterday's chest workout. I was just complaining about no DOMS too. I think it's from bench press b/c I haven't done that one in a long time. I hope you have a great chest workout!

Great workout! It is good to get DOMS in the chest. If I get it then I am gonna be "woohooing" about it all day long to my husband til it drives him nuts. lol.
 
Hey again! Taking a short break here... I got my workout in and kind of want to do some cardio later. I need some more stretching too.

Yeah, we got some good snow here, looks like it's going to melt fast though.

Workout is done. I did not get much sleep so am really dragging today.
I did 5.5 miles on the treadmill and burned 676 calories. Then I did some back and shoulder work, finishing off with Flexible Warrior yoga swim and cycle segments(28 minutes) Total calories burned 1102
weights went like this:

Eating yesterday was good but not enough calories. I ate 1626 calories 182gm carbs, 20gm fat, 183gm pro Got to work on that.

Dallys, I had to laugh at baking and playing Christmas songs. I need to get started Christmas shopping. Good reminder. It is warm here but rain expected.
 
Hello all! Back to work today....and it's busy! Back to my regular workout schedule so will post later as I workout in the afternoons. Will do full body workout today. Posted some pics from our trip. Think my DS fave is the one with the cheerleaders:) The other pic of the young african american is our "adopted" son. We basicly took him in and provided for him since he was in the 7th grade. Now he is at Oregon University on a full ride football scholarship!

Sonya, great pictures. I bet your son will love sharing the picture with the cheerleaders with his friends:) Looks like a lot of fun. That is great that your adopted son has a full scholarship. Hope is a a great experience for him:)

I can't believe some of you have snow! They'll be none of that here in my part of southern california! Not much time for working out today, but I did Firm Power Yoga when I got up. I have to work on my dissertation a bit now, go to work, then I'm gonna drive out to see my boyfriend (hour drive). Have a great day!
 
Just back from errands and music class with DD. I have such major DOMS in the front part of my shoulders it hurts to unhook my bra! :p So needless to say anything using the shoulders was difficult today.

Hermia, Yes this is his first year. He was going to red shirt it but the coaches asked him to play. I am very proud of him! We have been so blessed to have him in our lives. His text to me this morning read: I love you!

I got my cardio in! Finished up 30 min. on the treadmill followed by Total Body Solutions Shoulder and knee segments. Snow is mostly melted, but it's still cold. I'm planning on hittin' the hot tub as soon as I mix me a green protein shake.:cool:

Shonya- Nice pictures! You have some gorgeous legs going on there.:) Your boy looks super happy with the cheerleaders.;) Nice of your other boy getting a full ride at OI. So cool the coaches asked him to play already. :cool: He'll be in the pros in no time!

Linda- LOL at the not being able to undo the bra thing.:D Don'cha just love it?

Hermia- I'd love to be living in the Southern Cal. climate! It's a loooooog winter here in Utah.:(

Dallys - Nope. Been doing awful on the water. Now that the doc told me not to worry about my kidney function numbers I started slacking. :p I did order water at the Olive Garden tonight though - to go with my salmon and broccoli - and two breadsticks. :eek: Nice cardio workout!
 
Suz, what I have started doing is not totally different everytime. More so on upper body. I am doing a leg day where I concentrate on lower only and use the Bowflex for a lot of it, then the plan was to do a two total body workouts with one of them having extra lower added. When I do that I will do the glute squeezes on the stability ball and add the step ups in. I am trying to work upper without hurting my shoulder so have been picking and choosing my upper body moves till I find what works. Also I keep getting new workouts I want to try so that alters it a bit. I will do Tony's Friday along with lower. I won't get two total body workouts in this week. Have had a cold and so much going on. The main thing I was trying to do was hit lower 3 times a week. Tomorrow will be abs and cardio.

Dallys, I jumped online and started ordering Christmas presents:D You should be proud of me.

Linda, I can relate on not being able to do the bra thing. It hurts my shoulder to bend my arm back like that.
