Finished my workout. I decided not to do Imax 2 blast because, for goodness sakes I just did plyo's yesterday and think my knees need alittle rest so I did sprints instead on elliptical.

Decided not to do anymore back work. First, I still have more tightness between shoulder blades then I like (need to visit chiro again and get a massage). Tomorrow I will work legs so deadlifts will be involved..gotta stretch some tonight before bed.
 
Debbie - It is SO HARD for me to skip cardio! It's been eating me up all day. I keep thinking that I'm just going to add it back in. What is my problem???

Hermia - I was trying to do an hour of cardio 5 days a week and lifting 5 days a week. I work out 6 days a week, so I would take off cardio one day during the week and then on Saturdays I only do cardio and no lifting. But as you can see by what I said to Debbie it's killing me. The past couple of weeks I had missed a day of cardio (the migraine one week and I can't remember why the other week) so I thought I would purposely cut it out and see how that went for me. But knowing in my head that I'm doing it just messes with me! I worry that I'm going to get fat or bulky or get a ton of cellulite. UGH!

I told the athletic trainer I was giving him a break today because I felt bad that he always had to stretch out my shoulder b/c I know he's busy and he hasn't been feeling that great and then a gal in my office told him the real reason was b/c it hurt so much yesterday. I told him I probably shouldn't get it done every day and he said I probably should. Dang it! So I'm going tomorrow at 9. I wonder if I can drink before work??? :p
 
Just finished my workout. I did Amy Bento's Hi Lo Dome challenge through part of the third combo, then I got frustrated with the choreography and decided to call it good. I also did the advanced "Stressed Out" routine on Yoga for Your Moods. i enjoy cardio once I get the choreo down, but that usually takes me a few tries, so until then, grrrrrrr......

suz, is it really good for it to hurt that much when stretched? that seems kind of counter-intuitive.
 
Hi all....just finished my cardio for today. I did Cardio Fusion step only premix (48 minutes). I had a low grade headache all day so I needed something I didn't have to put alot of thought into. Had my rest day yesterday....I took my step daughter shopping for her birthday and then her dad and I went with her and put the deposit on the resturaunt where she will be getting married next October. Then we went to dinner. The headache may have come from the 2nd glass of wine!

Hermia - I get really frustrated with complicated cardio until I get it down too. But once I get it I feel so accomplished! I hear that the stretching does really hurt and he said that it's really tight and I absolutely have to get it loosened up or I'm going to have trouble. I'm trying to avoid surgery for impingement. That's where the sports med doc wanted me to go. Everyone says avoid surgery at all costs. I agree. :) I was so excited the other day when I could reach into the back seat of my car and get my purse without pain. I can't tell you how long it's been since I could do that. I don't even remember!

Sonya - Sorry about your headache - even if it is self-inflicted. :p And you never know about the weight thing. Stranger things have happened in this world! :eek:
