Today was leg day. Had a puke status workout again. This 20 rep crap kills me. My legs are rubber.

45 seconds rest between each set

Squats:
145# - 4/4/4 (up 5#)
125# - 12 (same as last week)
105# - 20/20 (up 5#)
***I use to struggle with anything over 100#. Now 105# seems so light.

Leg Press Station:
260# - 4/4 (same as last week)
245# - 12 (same as last week)
225# - 20/20 (up 5#)
***I love this exercise. I'm so glad I saved my money and got this piece of equipment.

Static Lunges:
120# - 4/4 (up 5#)
105# - 12 (up 5#)
90# - 20 (same as last week)
***I wimped out with the last set, I was suppose to do another set of 20. I just could not bring myself to do it.

Elevated SLDL's:
105# - 4/4 (up 5#)
85# - 15 (up 5#)
65# - 20/20 (same as last week)
***I can't believe I'm past 100# with this exercise. My low back felt great today.

Leg Extensions:
80# - 20/20 (same as last week)

CALVES
Leg Press Station Calf Raises:
235# - 20/20/20/20
***Did toes forward, in, out and forward again. Got a great burn.

That is all... Need to do abs this week. I will do them tomorrow and Saturday.

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Yesterday I finished up with some leg work after the cardio. Did this:

Squats

Leg Extensions:

130# 3/8

That is all I had time for.
Today I am gonna do Yoga X and some meditation. I did a Classic Sun Meditation this morning in which it helps to strengthen your energy levels. Also, I got this cool cd that helps untie connections to those that you don't want to be connected to that drain your energy, etc. If anyone is interested in it, pm me. For me, it is all about being the best you can be in every area you can be...mind, body and spirit! Why not strengthen EVERYTHING????:D

Bench Reverse Crunch - bringing legs straight up and back a bit - 20/20 - these were TOUGH and I coudn't do another set

Would have gone heavier but I was kneeling on a pillow on cement & I felt like I would slide forward with any more weight!

After I was finished with this I did 52 minutes on the elliptical keeping my HR around 155 and I threw in 2 minute sprints 4 times. Big whoop! I was sweating good though! I can't believe I got up early enough to get my weight workout AND my cardio done before work. WOOT!

Debbie - Great workout! You guys are encouraging me to go heavier on legs! And you'll notice I'm doing abs again. I'm such a big talker.

Char - YOWZA on those weights woman!!! I gotta go check out your costume now.

No plans. We don't even get trick or treaters b/c we live in a big development with 10 acre plots.
 
Sexy costume, Toasty! I'm just gonna wear the type of thing I might wear out dancing, put a witches hat on, and call it good. I'm so rushed, not to mention damn near broke for the end of the month, that I don't feel like going out to buy a costume. I'm going to a party with BFs friends, then I gotta teach at 8 a.m. the next morning! It's not gonna be pretty.

Not much time for a workout today. I did the advanced 30 min "stressed out" routine from Yoga for Your Moods right after waking up and eating a zone bar.

M3: ff yogurt w/2 Tbsp of flax seed
M4: 1/2 turkey sandwich, mustard and romaine lettuce & 1/2c of vegetables
M5: 1c turkey chili w/4 wheat crackers
M6: 1/2 turkey sandwich & apple


I need to find something else to eat for breakfast Sick of egg whites. Unless someone has a recipe for Quiche? Have a great evening all:)

So we have regular blood draws on campus and I try to give sometimes. It's so easy since they're right here. But sometimes it really wipes me out and last time I got all woozy that afternoon so I haven't given since April. Today I decided to give. I BARELY passed the iron test which surprised me b/c whenever I get my blood tested it's always fine. They tested it once and then had to take more and go "spin" it. It has to be 38 and it was 39. Then after they took my blood they wouldn't let me leave for 10 minutes!!! They said 15 but I talked 'em down. :p They said I was too small and they didn't feel comfortable letting me go. You have to weigh 110 to give blood and, well, I barely weighed 110 this morning - a smidge under but I didn't tell them that since I've been a fluctuator lately. I figured by the time I gave I weighed a little over since I'd eaten anyway. It will be interesting to see when I get my blood work results any day now what my iron levels are like.

SO...I wanted to come back to my office and eat a tuna pack b/c I was starving but I was afraid sitting there and not eating I would surely pass out on the way back to my office so I ended up eating TOASTY peanut butter crackers with some orange juice. Dang! That is NOT a clean meal at all. :( But I saved 3 lives. :D
 
It has been another crazy day. Dil is on her way over to pick up my grandson.
Workout went like this:
Amy's Hi Lo Dome W/up and cardio stopped at the dome workout, then did the interval premix skipping the w/up. Then I took my granddaughters to school. When I came home I took care of some stuff then did Amy's Hi/Lo Knockout w/up and first hi/lo and knockout, then did the cooldown and abs, I went on to do Sharon Twombly's Athletic Step Jam Ab segment, and Amy Bento's 10 minutes Solution Bootcamp abs segment, finishing with Amy's Rumble stretch. Total calories burned was 931 calories 45% fat.
I am just getting to eating something and here it is almost 2:30 . Preworkout I had a half scoop protein powder and coffee. I had some raisins post workout. This afternoon was mixed veggies with endame and a turkey burger with some onion. Had to go to the school again this afternoon.
 
Hey Maniacs! This morning I did RCR workout-B2 followed by Total body Solution Neck segment. I watched Psycho (with Vince Vaughan) and Pet Sematary while working out. Going to go on a bike ride here shortly. Just waiting on customers.

I just plan on handing out candy on Halloween. We get a lot of kids around here. I also need to carve some pumpkins because I want to roast the seeds. DH and I met on Halloween, so it's kind of a special day.:)

Toastypirategirl- Cute costume!

Diane Sue- So far I've only done the neck segment on TBS. It starts with an assessment which I didn't pass (you should be able to turn your neck to the side with chin over middle of shoulder comfortably , I can't go that far, so I didn't pass that one) and then it went on to do exercises to strengthen the neck. They say to do it every other day for 30 days.

Going to the game on Sunday! Staying at the Grand Hyatt...already checked it out on-line...nice workout facilities, I'll get a couple workouts in...or maybe I won't. After all I am on vacation! :)
